Teotihuacan Pyramids Morning Or Afternoon Without Tourist Traps

Angel was a very fun and knowledgeable guide. Jesus, our driver, was also very kind and sweet. I do wish the actual tour time would have been reflected in the schedule because the tour itself felt a little short/rushed. I know that the site is huge and we didn’t see a large portion of it. I thought the tour itself would be 4 or 5 hours, but it was more like 2.5/3 and the rest was transportation time. Despite that, my husband enjoyed what time we did have at the pyramids.

Not great communication. Messaged about taking a mobility scooter and no reply received. I then get to the bus and it could’ve fit a mobility scooter. Then the tour guide continued to walk off on the group and I had to catch a taxi to the meeting point. I wasn’t even given my entry ticket or anything. I think I deserve a refund

We had an incredible tour of Teotihuacan with our guide Laura! She's so knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the site, and she gave us a real sense of the history and culture of the people who lived there long ago. She answered all our questions and got me really interested in the subject. The whole experience was great too - clean bus, smooth pickup, and no stops at tourist traps. Highly recommend!

Luis, our tour guide, shared so much historical context from start to end; during the bus ride all the way to the pyramid tour. He answered all questions I had & was super friendly! You can tell he’s passionate about archeology. The tour includes pick up & drop off, pyramid tour, a stop to have lunch in a beautiful cave, and then a quick stop to get some tequila samples and souvenirs.

Great day trip Picked up close to the hotel and taken via private bus to Teotihuacan. The guide was knowledgeable and succinct in his explanations. After we were taken for lunch (not included) in an underground cave restaurant. Lovely day and everything was top notch

Angel was amazing. The trip was perfect half day trip. They kept with the time and the whole experience was really well organized. The one thing I think was not good was no food at the first stop, ended up staying the entire day with no food

That was a very interesting experience. It was quite remarkable visiting such an ancient sites. I would prefer to visit a wider area of the Teotihuacan.

Had a wonderful time on our tour to the pyramids. Our tour guide Laura was the best. She was very informative and friendly. Would recommend this to anyone looking to get to know the history of Mexico better. However, would not recommend for kids. They would get bored.

Great speaker with a lot of energy and passion

Went during Nov 6, our tour guide Mario was really good at leading and being our tour guide. We were about to hit all the spots at the area while learning some history about the place. I went in the morning and there wasn’t traffic on the way and back. The tour is about 5hrs in total. Highly recommend to go for first timers!

We had an excellent trip with guide Mario and driver Jorge. The tour was very informative and we were given just enough time for everything. Only the pickup point/time wasn't very clear at the start. It is probably best to take this trip in the morning die to the sun which can be harsh.

This is a must do when in Mexico City. The site is amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable and was fluent in English. He provided background and information of the points of interest as we passed them while driving to the site, once there he explained the history and relevant details, always interesting, never boring. The pickup point was easy to get to and the bus was punctual.

Angel was a fantastic tour guide, so enthusiastic and funny. Very knowledgeable and great at explaining things in a way that makes it easy to understand. Nice comfy bus and water and snacks provided. A+ / 10/10

The only reason this is not 1 star is because I was taken to the Teotihuacán and back . However o was very disappointed by: 1) there was no sign at the meeting spot where there were a ton of other buses so it was hard to find the group 2) my name was not on the list. Thankfully there was an extra seat but I do not know what would have happened if there was not 3) the break was very disorganized and no one knew where to go 4) during the one hour drive out there was no explanation of what we were going to see or history I was disappointed

Francisco is a great guide: knowledgeable and entertaining. He showed our small group around the Teotihuacan site, stopping to introduce relevant historical context and made the place come alive. We were also lucky to see the pyramids when there were fewer visitors due to Los Muertes festivities. Francisco ensured that we all had enough time to explore, take photos and soak up the atmosphere.

Our tour guides (Ernesto & Josefina) were kind, professional, knowledgeable and well organized. Our pickup was on time and on the way to the site they were clear about what the day was going to entail, and shared some local information. At the site, we were split into two groups, one for each guide. Josefina led our 13-person group, managing the group and time schedule splendidly, while providing good details of the site. This was a great tour and well worth the time to do.

Informative and interesting your, all fees were covered in the price. With traffic and group speed the full your was about 7 hours from pick up to drop off. We had about three hours in the park. Our guide, Angel, was a pleasure, answering questions authoritatively and contextualizing the history for our specific group. Would highly recommend a tour with him

Many others who booked were confused when a lot of us had different meeting times. (We arrived for our tour at 7:35 and were worried we were not in the right spot, but guides and tours started arriving around 7:50-8am) Otherwise, the tour went without a hitch and our guide for the English tour, Angel, was very excitable, incredibly intelligent, and a very good story teller. He made us feel the history and was very good in using real world experiences to compare the experience from history. We learned quite a lot more than if we decided to go ourselves. No admission fee. The whole tour from pickup to drop off was about 5 hours long. They gave each person a bottle of water and a small granola bar. There are quite a few stairs up and down, so be ready to walk a while and get a bit winded from the exercise.

Went into this tour with minimal prior knowledge. Our guide, Ángel, did a fantastic job of bringing the site to life. I will never forget the experience. I even managed to survive without a hat :)

Incredible experience, a really great day trip to the Pyramids. Angel our tour guide was super welcoming and presented the tour in an imaginative way that really helped you understand what we were looking at. He took great care of the group throughout navigating the pyramids and other visitors, at a great pace, it never felt like we were too many and never struggled to hear what he was saying. Price included a bottle of water, coffee and the admission fee.

Joesphina was very knowledgeable, helpful and had a great of humor. Enjoyed learning the history and significance of the sights. In addition, starting at one end and finishing at the other avoided peak crowds. Also enjoyed the convenience of pickup points closer to our accommodations. Highly recommend.

It was a fantastic experience. Very easy going crew. They were very punctual and beyond informative. Angel was our guide and he went above and beyond. He was fabulous and I couldn’t recommend him enough.

Excellent tour and great value for the price. There was a bit of confusion with the pickup time but not a big deal. Lots of merchants at the site but they are kind and not very pushy.

Ernesto was the absolute best tour guide. Very knowledgeable and made the site visit come alive with a lot of historical background and context sprinkled in with his humor and great personality. Could've easily listened to him for hours! Definitely worth the visit and highly recommend.

Teotihuacan with Mario was beautiful and chill

10/10 day at Teotihuacan. The pick up was smooth, we stopped for free coffee and snacks at the site before the tour started which was a nice touch. Angel, the tour guide, was incredible. He brought the world of Teotihuacan to life and was so knowledgable and passionate. Would recommend this tour to anyone
