Rating above is for the guide within Teotithcan, he was excellent , very knowledgeable and good amount of time on history with still enough time to wander, take photos and pick up souvenirs. La grotto restaurant was a nice experience along with the short shopping stop and to round out the overall day trip.

A very fun tour make sure to bring your walking shoes. A bit worried with the pick up but it all worked out very attentive host and get accommodating overall a great time as long as you got the right shoes and bring a backpack or something to carry your items if you plan to buy souvenirs it will come in much more handy than you believe. Don’t rush to buy your items on the first shop around some offer lower prices. (specially when you start to walking away). Special thank you to our host they were amazing

It was a wonderful tour, Mario and Oscar were great guides and drivers. The bus is super spacious and comfortable. The pyramids were something truly amazing. The restaurant La Gruta was phenomenal. Food was great, atmosphere was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Excellent experience. I visited Teotihuacan in January with my wife on our own. This time, traveling with grown-up kids, decided to visit it via VIATOR. Happy with the decision. Our guide Ruben was very knowledgeable and passionate about sharing the history of the site. Everyone from the driver to the guides was very professional, and the price of the tour was very reasonable. Our tour to Teotihuacan included a visit to La Gruta Restaurant. The restaurant is located inside a beautiful and large cave. A very mystical place, colorful and serving Mexican food. I enjoyed every minute of the experience.

If you want a tour with very knowledgeable and friendly guides, this is the tour for you. It had been about 25 years since I had visited the Teotihuacan. In that time, not only has the archeological site grown significantly but also the new findings and insights found were provided in detail by our Tour guides. They explained historical pieces, how beliefs have changes with new findings, and insights into the local and neighboring tribes. The tour guides kept us engaged, kept things moving at a good pace, and provided ample time for pictures and exploration as well. They picked us up timely, provided updates in advance to be better prepared for the tour. We also got the side visit to La Gruta restaurant which is a must. The food is not included, only the stop. The experience was amazing, the food very authentic, and it’s been around since 1906. This is a must add on to your visit if you have the time. Overall, Inhighly recommend this tour company and guides who made the trip very enjoyable, comfortable, and informative while keeping it fun.

We had an amazing day at the pyramid. Our guides were very knowledgeable and we felt very cared for. We were able to add of the La Gruta restaurant at the end which was an amazing experience, as nd even enjoyed some cactus fruit with our guides!

Very grateful we chose this company for our tour of the pyramids. The guide noticed I wanted to try cactus and even went out of his way on the drive to buy some for us to try! It was very thoughtful service throughout!

We’ve visited the pyramids in Mexico City three times, and this was, by far, the most informative tour we’ve taken. Our guide, Yair, was incredibly knowledgeable on every topic, especially pre-Columbian and ancient Mesoamerican history. His storytelling was not only educational but also engaging and entertaining. The tour was thoughtfully organized, beginning and ending in logical locations. We especially appreciated having an hour to explore the archaeological site on our own after the guided portion. It provided the perfect balance between learning from our guide and discovering the grounds at our own pace. When we regrouped, Yair was happy to answer any additional questions, which made the experience even more rewarding. Afterward, our group split into two, with ours continuing to the incredible underground La Gruta restaurant. Having just learned from Yair about the spiritual and cultural significance of the underworld in ancient Mesoamerican beliefs, dining in a cave-like setting felt especially meaningful. The food and drinks were excellent, making it a memorable way to conclude the day. We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an experience that combines history, culture, and adventure. Yair’s expertise and enthusiasm made this one of the best tours we’ve experienced.

It’s was a great experience. Our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. She gave us a lot of great information.

Smooth pick up and great guide. Tour gave all the highlights visiting pyramid of moon and sun and one other temple over ~2 hours.

We were lucky to have guides that are passionate about their country and its history. It makes the learning process so much more enjoyable. All the staff from the tour company were kind and helpful. I would like to give a special shout out to Jair and Maryfer. Jair made sure to look out for the entire groups safety, as it was very hot and you have to navigate a fair distance on foot, up and down multiple sets of stone steps. With Maryfer, the history lesson didn’t end when we started driving back to Mexico City. She pointed out all the landmarks on the drive back, and provided information regarding them. It made the drive back feel a lot quicker than it actually is. A big thanks to all of you.

Had an amazing time, even though it was physically demanding. You can feel the tour guides were passionate about the history and what they do. All the staff were really kind and great, including our driver Jaime and the tour guide for the other group Ruben. However, we have to give a special thanks to our guides Jair and Maryfer. Jair explained the history of the “pyramids” which he explained should be referred to as temples instead of pyramids, in great detail. He does a great job of explaining why they should be referred to as temples, and a lot of history behind them. He also did a great job of making sure everyone in the group felt comfortable and safe, doing whatever they had the ability to do physically. The history and knowledge lesson didn’t just stop after the tour. Maryfer pointed out tons of spots and the history behind them on the 1 hour drive back to Mexico City. She also advised of upcoming events while we are still in Mexico. Muchísimas gracias a todos. ¡Viva México!

The bus was spacious, it had AC. The tour guides were knowledgeable, they has us enough time to explore at the stops.

We had a great time taking this tour. They were punctual and very knowledgeable about the history of the city. The only drawback is they take you to this tourist trap where they want you to buy souvenirs, food, and alcohol before they take you directly to the ruins. I’d pack a sandwich. We did the cave restaurant, it was a nice experience as well.

Pickup was on time. Ernesto, Angel and the whole team were very friendly and knowledgeable. Tour was bilingual and they made sure that we were all taken care of.

It is amazing to learn about the Pyramids! Our tour guide Omar was so knowledgeable. He went out of his way to accommodate everyone’s experience. The lunch in the cave was fun too. It was a bit pricey but we enjoyed it.

The guide apologized not realizing how insanely overrun things were. He was engaged, nice and well informed. The site was interesting. However, they did not manage our expectations. They said to arrive at one time this morning but it meant another. Most didn’t even get breakfast because of that. If one of us made the error, fine, but almost everyone made the same error. Then the place was overflowing with tour busses the guide didn’t expect. No toilet paper and inadequate restroom spots for women. This delayed us maybr an hour in high heat, little food and no lunch but tons of sellers and nothing to do but wait and wait. The pyramid tour itself was good and engaging. But then the guide said again he was surprised by all the visitors and we’d delay heading to the cave restaurant and have to likely wait a bit when we got there for lunch. “Lunch” was at 4 by the time we got into the restaurant, with no water left, hot and very hungry - but just more stops to buy things on the way. The restaurant was good but very high end to be rushed out to then make the bus and have nothing left for the evening given how late we’d return. It wasn’t clear from the description that it wasn’t included in the price. I don’t know what this tour is like on a good day but I would not recommend it. Felt overrun, overpriced and highly disorganized.
