Teotihuacan Pyramids | Pick Up Hotel | Breakfast In Cueva

The hotel pickup was very convenient and our driver was courteous and friendly. Our tour of the caves and pyramids with Alicia was fun and informative. Alicia shared so much of the history of the area and the people who’ve lived there for centuries, including their daily lives and spiritual connection with the land. We enjoyed the brief respite to sample mezcal and learn how people of the area used agave and obsidian for all kinds of uses before exploring the pyramids. We visited in a drier time of year, but if you’re visiting in a rainier season wear sturdy shoes and take lots of sunscreen and water. Highly recommended!

The tour was an amazing experience. Alicia was a fabulous tour guide along with our driver who was waiting on us every step of the way! Tour guide: Alicia was so wonderful in creating a curated experience both spiritually and educationally. We learn so much about the site, the religion and the historical artifacts. We enjoyed her guiding us through the caves, teotihuacan (sun and moon palace). She was incredible! Our driver: Miguel was sooooooo sweet!! He picked us up from our hotel on time, took us to the site and waited on us throughout our tour. Such a generous driver! We enjoyed our experience thoroughly!

We went on a Monday, but it was not crowded. We were picked up right on time at 09:00 in front of our hotel. The driver picked up additional people at another hotel, and we headed out of Mexico City. Our first stop was at the caves where we met our guide Alyssia who gave a presentation about the building of the city and the culture of the people who built it and its spiritual significance. We were then given helmets and a flashlight and descended into a cave where we participated in a renewal ceremony . We exited the cave in a connected line to emulate Quetzalzoatl the serphant, boarded our van and proceeded to a tourist stop with clean bathrooms where we were given a presentation on minerals and the nopal cactus used to make pulque. We then headed for Teotihuacan where we toured to site and some of us climbed the Moon pyramid. We then returned to our van and went to a nearby restaurant where we had a pleasant lunch (not included). The day ended when we were dropped off at our hotel at about 5:30 pm. Alyssia is very knowlegable and passionate about helping tourists understand the people who built Teotihuacan.

I had an absolutely amazing experience visiting Teotihuacan! Our tour guide, Lee, was fantastic and made everything easy to understand in English. The transport from CDMX- Mexico City was quick and convenient. We also explored some incredible caves, have a quick stop in a local shop where we were educated about the craft made in that part of Mexico and ended up with a late lunch in a local restaurant - which were a bonus for this trip. Even the Spanish-speaking tour guide ANA was easy for me to understand as a Brazilian who speaks Portuguese. Overall, a truly memorable experience! O transporte de CDMX (Cidade do México) foi rápido e conveniente. Também exploramos algumas cavernas incríveis, fizemos uma parada rápida em uma loja local para aprender sobre o artesanato daquela região do México e terminamos com um almoço tardio em um restaurante local, o que foi um bônus para essa viagem. Até a guia que falava Espanhol, Ana, foi fácil de entender para mim, que sou brasileiro e falo Português. No geral, uma experiência realmente memorável!

Fantastic tour! We booked it late in the evening the night before. The company immediately emailed instructions and the itinerary. Enrique, the driver, was five minutes early for the pickup. His car was clean and comfortable and he was super friendly. Alesia, our guide, was fantastic as well. She was super knowledgeable and took time to go through all of the history. We also had our six year old son with us. She was excellent with him as well. Overall we had a fantastic experience. Would highly recommend!

We did a tour to the Teotihuacan Pyramids our guides Ana and Lee along with our driver Alejandro made the experience an unforgettable one. Both Ana and Lee irradiated such a magical vibe and spirituality that words cannot express. They were very passionate and knowledgeable about everything. The tour consisted on a visit to the caves, mezcal and pulque tasting, a little learning moment of the stones like the Obsidian by a friend of theirs, Maria (whom you can buy your souvenirs from) As well as of course the tour to the pyramids. They were very attentive with us, taking pictures, providing us with water, Mexican traditional snack bars and at the end taking us to get some food at a local restaurant. We will be coming back, hopefully with our families and without any doubt we will be booking with them again. 10000/10. Gustavo & Ana

Caves, pyramids and found out a but about the history! Pick up was on time, we had a lot of info on the site and buildings. Nice tour!

Just ok. Guide spoke ok English. Very long winded. Slow Walker. No lunch until after 3 pm. Too much time at tourist trap shopping area. Definitely could have been better.

OMG!! One of the best tours we’ve experienced. And we’ve been all over the world. Both knowledgeable and fantastic people, our guide Marcos was wise beyond his years and our driver Ricardo had a heart of gold. But the best part was that they made pick up as easy as pie, and a 9:00 am departure is chronic travellers dream. LOL from Canada 🇨🇦

The trip was amazing. We did the English tour with Alicia. Alicia is an amazing guide, very knowledgeable and with a strong connection to the topics she was describing. The caves were a great experience, and Teotihuacán was just insanely interesting.

Great experience, all of the guides took their time to explain the history behind each site we visited. Very friendly tour guides and driver picked up from our location of choice.

For the price, it was good. However you may need to take things into your own hands a bit. Over the course of about 9 hours, we were picked up and driven to the site. Instead of going directly to the site, we first stopped at a cave that was cool. We stayed too long here. Then off to a tourist trap souvenir shop. Par for the course. But be aware the prices here are astronomically marked up. So haggle if you like. You should just wait until you get to the site to buy from someone in greater need at a much lower price. Once we finally made it to the site, I felt a bit restrained by the tour guide going on and on about things. Keep in mind, having left at 8:30am, we didn’t arrive here until probably noon or 1pm. Once there if you don’t leave the tour and go walk on your own, you’ll never get to see anything. Once we figured this out we only had maybe half an hour to 45 minutes to see the site. We didn’t even get to see the temple of the serpent, which was possibly the most visually interesting. Once you leave the site then it’s off to a restaurant to eat and spend more money. And finally a drive back to the city. A 9 hour trip for less than an hour at the pyramids. I can’t help but feel in retrospect that instead of a tour this was primarily a ploy to get your money, with a quick stop at the pyramids. Had I known this all in advance, I still would have gone but would have used my time more wisely. In the end tho, this is how the people there make their money and it should be somewhat expected. The tour guides were very nice of course. But in on the deal. I hope they get commission from the restaurant and souvenir shop.

Our English tour guide Alicia was fantastic, she was very knowledgeable and passionate and speaks great English! I learned a lot about the ancient history, culture, philosophy, and rituals on the archeological sites. It was a unique experience, and many thanks to Alicia that her English made it so much easier for me to really understand and enjoy Teotihuacán.

Very nice tour with a friendly, motivated tour guide. A self-guided tour would have been worse. It is quite affordable, but you are taken to a shop and a restaurant. However, you do not have to buy anything, and at the shop you get an interesting explanation about stones, plants, and minerals, as well as some spirits to taste.

Excellent tour, with informative guide Alicia who was a wealth of knowledge about meso-american culture. We all had a great time and it was excellent value for money. Picked up and dropped off from our accomodations. Overall the staff were kind and courteous, with a big thanks to Alicia, Anna and Jesus!

Courteous team really made the trip interesting and fun. We felt very well looked after by the driver Jesus and the tour guides Alicia and Anna. Pyramids were an absolute must-see. Being collected and dropped off at our accommodation was a welcome bonus. Great value for money.

Such a great deal for the experience. I loved the explanation of the rocks and minerals in the area and how to spot fakes. I learned so incredibly much. Everyone was so lovely and I really enjoyed my time!!

Our tour guide Daniel Hernandez has a great knowledge base of the history of the pyramids which enriched our experience. His family is from the area for many generations. He shared that he would play with his friends with the view of both pyramids. He has a special bond with the Pyramids.

A wonderful experience! It was so convenient to get a drive to and from Teotihuacán directly to our hotel. Our driver was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about Mexico along the drive. Our tour guide was amazing! He had great energy and enthusiasm. We had a wonderful time with him and wished the tour was longer. Lunch was also great.

1. While the driver and all the guides were nice enough, this was supposed to be an English speaking tour. The driver did not speak a word of English. While the guides did speak English, very hard to understand.. also, our first stop was at a gift shop. Yes, it was nice to see and hear about different local items, but not as our first stop...

Guides were great and price was very good. Couple things I wish were different: Going to the Winged Serpent temple really is not very far for most people. It was a shame to miss seeing it. Maybe offer a longer tour for people serious into archeology.

This was a wonderful, economical way to experience Teotihuacan. Our guide Suzanne, was fantastic and shared great historical info and has a great personality. Dropped 1 star because the pickup was 50 minutes late. It was communicated that he was running behind with heavy traffic but didn't have any idea about how long.

I am a tourist and this is one of the places I love most in Mexico. I recommend bringing a hat and sunscreen because the sun is strong and it can be tiring to walk but it is totally worth it to learn about the culture of this region.

It was an incredible tour, I knew a lot about Teotihuacan and its culture, the guide Julio answered all my doubts, the restaurant was very nice and the food was very delicious, I liked this tour.

Teotihuacan is absolutely INCREDIBLE and a must see if you're visiting the area. Our tour guide Julio did a fantastic job! I loved that it was private so we got to ask questions and go at our own pace. His book with illustrations was a great touch. Having our driver Ari to pick us up and take us around was very worth it. Highly recommend bringing an umbrella/ sunblock as there is little to no shade. The stop beforehand with the liquor tasting and agave demo was cool but if I did it again I'd skip that part and spend more time touring the archaeological site. Specifically wish we'd gotten to see the temple of the feathered serpent but that's a few km down the avenue of the dead and we didn't have time. Eating lunch in the cave was also an incredible experience! Don't forget some cash to tip your driver and guide.

I went alone with my 7-year-old. Daniela picked us up, small but comfortable car. Good music, air and good handling. Upon arrival we were greeted by Ana, who made the tour. Lovely woman, friendly and patient to explain to the child. I highly recommend the tour!! It was fair and accurate.

Our guide Alicia was very friendly, my partner does not speak Spanish and she was a good translator, the caves are beautiful and the impressive pyramids, the first driver, we were very comfortable, however the place where we ate we did not love, it is more tourist trap, but the rest great
