I went on a private tour of Teotihuacan with My Quest Concierge and honestly loved it. Everything was really well organized. We traveled in a very comfortable van, and since we left early, there wasn’t much traffic. It took us about 40 minutes from Polanco. Our guide was so warm and friendly, really easy to talk to. She listened to what we wanted, and the whole tour felt tailored to us. She knew so much about the history, told fascinating stories, and was happy to answer all our extra questions. Seeing those pyramids in person gave me goosebumps. I love ancient history and lost civilizations, so this was a dream come true for me. It’s amazing that a place like this is so close to Mexico City. I genuinely had a wonderful experience. I’d definitely recommend My Quest Concierge if you’re looking for a private tour. We booked our private family tour of six people with Israel Mendoza to take us from our hotel in Roma Norte, Mexico City to Teotihuacán pyramids. We met him at the Chapultepec Castle because my relatives hired him as an English tour guide for my 20-year-old son and since my son likes history they both got along well. we hired him two days later for this private group tour. We coordinated the pick up from our hotel and he responded immediately on WhatsApp. He has an Instagram page as well. He speaks both English and Spanish which was helpful because our group had a mixture of both, and he was very knowledgeable about the history of the pyramids. During the trip, he didn’t just take us to the pyramids but he took us to a restaurant and a tourist shopping area in between visiting one part of the ruins and the other side. It was a great journey experience having an experienced and friendly tour guide who drove us around in a comfortable van that was very spacious and air conditioned. I would book again with Israel if I travel to Mexico City.

We had an excellent experience thanks to our guide, Garbine, and our driver, Yosthin. Garbine was extremely knowledgeable and shared insights that truly enriched the trip. Both Garbine and Yosthin were friendly, easy to interact with, and made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout the day. Our tour guide “G” was amazing. She was very well prepared and so informative, and she has an immense passion for history and archeology (what she’s going to school for!). When she was trying to show us certain carvings in the temples, she found a way to use a phone as a pointer to show us exactly what she was referring to! After everything, we had a great lunch with her and got the chance to get to know her. Such a great person!

We had an amazing day with this tour group, hot air balloon, breakfast, and tour of the temple sites. Best of all was “G” our tour guide. She is incredibly knowledgeable and fun to be around. Can’t recommend this group highly enough!

Fantastic guided visit for two to Teotihuacan and then a restaurant/mezcal tasting afterwards. Our guide, Garbine, was top drawer with superb knowledge of the site, Mexican history and with excellent English. She made the trip a genuine experience - a lot to be said for a guide with both guide experience as well as one who is currently studying for an archaeology degree. The restaurant trip was also well worthwhile and there was no feeling at any stage that you were under any pressure to buy things. Would 100% recommend.

This tour was soooo worth it!!! Our guide Garbiñe was the best!! The communication with the tour company was easy, and they were very responsible and trustworthy. Garbiñe showed up on time to pick us up with a very comfortable car (strong AC!!!) came with many water bottle. The driving was safe and smooth. She is very knowledgeable, friendly, and fun to chat with! She also altered the tour a bit to fit your interests (please go see the wall paints about the underworld!), and brought us to a delicious lunch place. After then we went to the Basilica de Santa Maria de Guadalupe, which surprisingly we enjoyed it a lot!! If your budget allows it please book this private tour, I promise it really worths it!

Garbiñe was our tour guide. She is very knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy. We took our baby with us and Garbiñe was extremely accommodating to our needs that we decided to use her for a second tour to Xochimilco the following day. Suburban was nice, clean and had plenty of drinking bottled water.

Our guide Garbine was wonderful. We learned a lot about history and culture of several regions of Mexico, particularly - Teotihuacan. She masterfully intermixed historical facts with scientific theories and curious anecdotes. Being an archeology major, she was able to answer the most particular questions and did so with a charming enthusiasm. After Teotihuacan we proceeded to Basilica de Guadelupe, and this part of the tour was as interesting as Teotihuacan. Finally, having learned that our Mexico City Muralism tour had been cancelled 2 days prior, Garbine gave us a brief but comprehensive overview of several Mexican muralists. Going way above and beyond the scope of her duties, she drove us to the Palacio de Bellas Artes where we were able to appreciate the works by Diego Rivera, David Siquieros and Jose Orozco. Overall - great experience both from the tour itself and from our wonderful guide.

This was our 3rd time using My Quest Concierge. The first two times we were beyond satisfied, Arnie and Gerry were great guides for Chichen Itza, Tulum and Coba. Being totally honest, I did not think this tour could top the first two we had. But I was wrong....this was by far the best (Sorry Arnie and Gerry! you guys are still great). Our guide for Teotihuacan, Garbiñe, was AMAZING. She was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, she kept two teenagers engaged the entire time. She is passionate about sharing history and culture and it really came through in our experience. If you have doubts about taking this tour, do not hesitate and if Garbiñe is available, I highly recommend you ask for her. We had the best day in Teotihuacan with Garbi! We were two families with four kids in total ages 5 to 10. She was excellent with the kids and tailored the tour so that they could stay engaged. She took us to an awesome place for lunch and then we customized our tour by adding on a visit to Reino Animal. We had the most wonderful day. She thought of everything to include waters for everybody. The van ride and driver were also outstanding. Would never hesitate to recommend a day with Garbiñe to anyone in CDMX!

We honestly could NOT have landed a better guide. Can I just say: OMG to this one?! I feel we hit the jack pot! Garbinea is fun loving (easy going), very authentic and SUPER passionate about her subject. We became “sponges” wanting to absorb every aspect of the wonderful, historical and cultural info she had to share. We walked away w such a rich cultural understanding of Mexico’s native (indigenous and enlightened) cultures and all that followed with contemporary traditions and art story tellers. Summary: We had a blast spending the day together. We learned a lot, connected on many levels, and became global friends. The “icing on the cake” (big bonus) is the fact that she is a “foodie” and shares her culinary expertise along with her archeological knowledge. Whats better than that combo?! Bottom line - there is a whole lot to savor during your day with Garbenia !

Our private tour guide, Garnbiña, was an amazing guide, expert in archeology, Teotihuacan Ruins, Basilica de Guadalupe, Mexican history and customs. She was very flexible and changed our last scheduled stop from Monumento a la Revolución Mexicana to the Palace of Fine Arts. She brought us to a fantastic restaurant for lunch and passionately answered our questions about the sites and Mexican heritage. We would give 10 star rating if it was possible!

Great tour of Teotihuacan, Basilica de Guadalope, templo mayor and cathedral. Our tour guide Garbiñe is a student of archeology and is extremely knowledgeable, she is able to answered all our questions and took us to a local restaurant to sample local specialty. We learned a great deal on the tour and had a great time.

Garbiñe was our guide for a visit to the Pyramids, the Guadaloupe Church and Zocalo. She is a professional and very kind guide, as well as the best driver we could get in CDMX. She gave us insights on the places while gaining empathy. My wife and I got very impressed by her and we feel lucky she guided us. Choose with confidence and you won't be disappointed.

The tour and hot air balloon were excellent. Even better was our tour guide, Garbiñe. We booked three different tours with MyQuest and had her as our guide for all three. Garbiñe’s tour of Teotihuacan was outstanding. From the time she promptly picked us up from our Airbnb in Condessa until the time she dropped us off 5 1/2 hours later at El Bosque, a restaurant near Chapultepec Park that she recommended (which was delicious), Garbiñe was friendly, accommodating, flexible and provided a plethora of valuable and insightful information about not just Teotihuacan but also Mexico City, the Valley of Mexico, and the entire country. Garbiñe’s driving was excellent and the car was comfortable. After arriving in Teotihucan, Garbiñe accompanied us through the museum. This was a helpful way to start because the exhibits she showed us and her explanations provided important context for the rest of our time in Teotihucan. We then walked around the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon, and the Temple of the Feathered Serpent, all accompanied by Garbiñe’s interesting and informed explanations. We asked her numerous questions. All of her answers were thoughtful and insightful. She mentioned that she is studying archaeology which made sense given her considerable knowledge of Mexican archaeology (as well as Mexican anthropology and history). All four of us, who have done extensive world travel, agreed that Garbiñe was among the best tour guides we have ever had. Indeed we’re grateful to have gotten Garbiñe and we'll highly recommend her to friends and family.

We did a 7-hour CDMX food tour with Garbiñe. My Quest Concierge did an amazing job with the itinerary, it was fully thought out and very enjoyable. We had a group of 20 people, and all of us had a great time. We managed to hit all the spots on the itinerary without feeling rushed at any place. Garbiñe was SUPER knowledgable about CDMX and its history, we can all tell that she was very excited to share her knowledge with us. Of course, we got to try a bunch of different foods, including tacos, scorpions (!!!), crickets, and churros. We even had a mezcal and tequila tasting. We had a tour the previous day that paled in comparison to this tour. So we highly recommend not only Garbiñe but My Quest Concierge in general, especially for large groups. We would not hesitate to use them again next time we're in CDMX!

If I could give this experience 10 stars, I would. I can not imagine a better Teotihuacan and Basilica de Santa Maria de Guadalupe tour. Our guide, Garbiñe, was amazing. From the moment we stepped into the van until we said our goodbyes…the experience was amazing. Thanks to our guide Garbine our trip became an experience that we’ll never forget! Garbine is very knowledgeable both on archeology and other fun things such as supermarket-safaris and food. We felt at ease and safe in Mexico-city going around and every wish for photos, stops and timing was taken care of. Would do it all over again without a change or doubt.

The tour was fantastic! I like history a lot so finally having a close look at the temples is amazing. Of course it would be just majestic buildings if we didn’t have a superb guide. And yes we did! We had the best day with the best guide Garbiñe! We were picked up at the hotel at 8am and dropped off at 4pm in a very nice air conditioned 10 seater vehicle with free cold waters. We started the day in Teotihuacan which was our favourite place, visiting the temples and more and leaning so much. From there we visited the basilica and surrounding areas and finally we walked downtown stopping at Templo Mayor and other highlights. Garbiñe was so brilliant because she was friendly, spoke great English, was so interested in what she was teaching us and so knowledgable. She asked us what we wanted to see and totally made the day about us. Even though we were in the vehicle for a while in between sights, this was very welcome as a chance to cool down and rest between the walking and the heat. We really had the best day and would encourage everyone to do this tour and ask for Garbiñe!

Garbiñe was amazing! The best tour guide I've had, perhaps ever. She was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable; I learned so much! And it's no wonder: she's studying archaeology, so she knew things like the back of her hand and communicated her passion for the history of Teotihuacan. We had the most amazing experience with Garbine. She was our ride and guide for the day and it was fantastic! She arrived at our place on schedule (it needed to be at 4:30am and she was early) greeted us cheerfully and politely. She drove us to our first stop, which was the hot air balloon check in location. It was a 1hr ride from our Airbnb. She was an excellent driver, and very friendly and engaging throughout the drive even that early in the morning! If you have an interest in ancient cultures and archaeology, she is a wonderful teacher and conversationalist - irrespective of your level of knowledge. After we finished our balloon ride, she took us to the site of the temples where she walked us through the history of the temple of the Moon and the Sun. She had so much information to share and she would convey it in a manner that helped us visualize our surroundings in ancient times! We really enjoyed that and engaged in long conversations wit her. She is very knowledgeable and was patient with us throughout, letting us take our time soaking in the info and take photos. She also had a good understanding of and relationship with the local vendors and their wares which gave us a deeper appreciation of their artwork. After the tour of the temples, Garbine took us to a nice lunch spot just opposite the Pyramid of the Sun. It was a simple local place and not touristy. We had told her about our struggles with ordering the right food at CDMX, so she got a read of our preferences and placed the food order. Garbine is well versed in the culinary arts and she picked an eclectic range of items that fit our palette and also gave us a sense of local favorites. Everything was delicious and it was the best meal of our trip. Overall, Garbine was close to (if not) the perfect guide..it was like having a friend with tons of knowledge showing us around. We highly recommend her. On a side note, She also took some amazing pics of us..at the balloon ride and at the temple sites. She's a really good photographer and if you do the balloon ride make sure you ask her to take photos or leave a phone with her!

Our guide Garbiñe was a wealth of knowledge about the area and archaeology in general. Her English was perfect and despite waking up very early to get us to our hot air balloon on time she was full of energy and enthusiasm all day. We had such an amazing day and learned so much we couldn't be more grateful!
