Our guide Fernando was very knowledgeable, and our driver Hugo was fantastic as well, adding even further interesting information throughout our experience. They were flexible in adjusting the start time so we could miss as few crowds as possible.

What a great tour! Our driver and guide, Noah, was informative, easygoing, and very flexible. We learned quite a bit about Mexico City, including pre-Aztec and Aztec history. We spent a few hours exploring the site and even climbed the pyramid. Afterwards, we stopped at a small local co-op where we spent about 15–20 minutes sampling local liquor and doing a little shopping. We then enjoyed a leisurely lunch at the restaurant on site. One thing we especially appreciated was that Noah never rushed us. He gave us as much time as we wanted at the site and at lunch, which made the entire tour feel very relaxed and flexible. Highly recommend!

After booking tour, there was excellent communication with the tour company regarding pick up time/ location and expectations. During our drive to and from site, he pointed out interesting features and sites. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. Ivan delivered a great experience with his knowledge of Teotihuacan’s history in his excellent English. In addition, we started our tour through one of the three most advantageous gates. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this private tour! Be sure to wear a wide brim hat and water. As, there is little shade.

Rodolfo is a professional anthropologist, and it shows. His knowledge of the site, its history and its culture is exceptional, and he explained everything in a clear, well-organised way that was easy to follow and kept us interested from start to finish. He was professional, friendly and patient with our questions, and he always had a thoughtful answer. Because he truly understands the subject, we came away with a much deeper understanding of Teotihuacán than we would ever have had on our own or with a standard guide. The whole day was smoothly planned and ran perfectly. Pickup was on time, the schedule was well paced, and there were no problems at all. We never felt rushed. If you want to really understand Teotihuacán and not just see it, book this tour and ask for Rodolfo. Highly recommended. Five stars.

Our guide Miguel has a PhD in anthropology and loves to talk. He gave us an incredible tour loaded with important context that immeasurably improved our experience. Miguel was very friendly and spoke English very well. Choosing a private tour allowed our guide to tailor our experience and to go off on tangents aligned with our questions. Well worth the higher cost.

Gerardo was an excellent tour guide! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire experience enjoyable. The van was extremely clean, and the air conditioning was definitely a bonus, especially during the tour. Gerardo even went above and beyond by offering to add a visit to the Basilica of Guadalupe after we had already booked our tour. We had a wonderful experience touring Teotihuacán with Yunuen! He is incredibly knowledgeable about the history and ruins, and we learned so much throughout our visit. He was also an excellent driver, making the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable. You can tell he genuinely loves sharing his knowledge and the history of this incredible place. Aldo was fantastic! He touched base the night before and picked us up right on time at our hotel. His knowledge of Mexico City and Teotihuacan was amazing. He even made a restaurant suggestion and got us a reservation. Driving around here is crazy but our driver Paco was pro. We learned a lot and the experience was top notch. For sure do this tour!

I can't say enough about how great this experience was. Our guide, Gerardo, was amazing. His deep knowledge of Teotihuacan as a graduate level history student made the site come alive and gave us a deep understanding of what we were seeing. He made sure we saw things I know we would have missed on our own. When booking, I didn't realize we'd also have a separate driver. Noe was also great, getting us around safely and dealing with the very heavy traffic near our hotel which was right near the massive Day of the Dead parade. I would use this same company again in a heartbeat and would recommend this tour to others without hesitation.

Hugo was truly the best driver we could have ever hoped for! He drove us to Tepoztlán and Amatlán de Quetzalcóatl, and he went above and beyond in every possible way. He was so much more than just a driver! His incredible knowledge of the history, culture, and surrounding areas made our journey so interesting and memorable. We learned so much from him along the way! Hugo was warm, personable, professional, and genuinely a pleasure to spend the day with. Since I speak very little Spanish, he also kindly helped me translate on several occasions, which I appreciated more than he knows. He made everything feel effortless and comfortable. Our visit to Teotihuacán was an absolutely wonderful experience, made even more memorable by our fantastic driver, Hugo, and our incredible tour guide, Fernando! Hugo was punctual, professional, and so personable! From the moment he picked us up, he made us feel comfortable and welcome. He was extremely knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and shared fascinating history and interesting facts throughout our drive to Teotihuacán. It was like having an additional tour guide before we even arrived! Once we reached the pyramids, we met Fernando, who was an exceptional guide! His knowledge of Teotihuacán’s history, architecture, and ancient civilization was truly impressive. What made his tour especially fascinating was the notebook he brought filled with historical photographs, detailed maps, and incredible illustrations showing what the pyramids and surrounding city are believed to have looked like in their original form. Being able to visualize these magnificent structures as they once stood brought the entire experience to life in such a unique way! Fernando’s passion for the history of this extraordinary place was evident, and we learned so much more than we ever would have exploring on our own. Hugo and Fernando were both outstanding, and together they made our visit to Teotihuacán truly unforgettable. We are so grateful for their knowledge, kindness, and wonderful service. Aldo was very communicative before the tour, was exactly on time. On the tour he gave us all the information about the history and options once we had seen the main site - we chose to see one of the neighbourhoods. We stopped to taste mezcal and tequila on the way back. Would not hesitate to recommend we had a great day out!

We spent a fantastic morning visiting the archeological sites at Teotihuacan with Dr. Miguel our private tour guide. In fact the tour started immediately whilst driving through Condesa with the explanation of local buildings and history. Sr. Miguel is a trained anthropologist of Mexican history inclusive of Mesoamericano. The site is not to be missed as part of a trip to Mexico City. Our vehicle was newer and in good condition. The driver Noel was careful but also looked for alternatives routes to avoid traffic congestion although in CDMX that can be difficult. We would recommend Dr. Miguel to anyone looking for a knowledgeable guide and pleasant to be with.

Miguel and our driver were fantastic. We truly learned more than we could’ve possibly imagined we loved doing the private tour because I feel like it was more in-depth in the history and it was a more personalized experience. They picked us up right on time and dropped us off in a timely manner as well. I would 100% suggest during a private tour even it’s just two of you. You’ll learn more and get a better experience. They are so happy with everything.

We had an AMAZING tour with Gerardo at the pyramids. He communicated with us the day before providing all his information and the license plate, and he and our driver, Jorge, picked us up right on time in a larger van which made a more comfortable ride. Gerardo started off the tour in the car giving us an overview of the history of the early civilizations in Mexico which laid the groundwork for the rest of the day. We had a fabulous time visiting each of the pyramids and we learned so much, it’s one of the top memories from our visit to Mexico City. I highly recommend this tour to anyone going to Teotihuacan. It’s especially nice as a private tour so you get even more personalization you wouldn’t in a large group, and can ask more questions.

We had a great experience on this tour. Ivan and Miguel picked us up at our hotel and drove us to Teotihuacán in a comfortable and clean minivan. On the way, we got a nice overview of the history of the site. Ivan and Miguel were both so friendly, welcoming and engaging. We walked through the ruins and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The ruins are awe inspiring. We are all so glad we had this experience and that it was made so easy to do thanks to the wonderful Miguel and Ivan.

We loved our tour so much that we booked him as our guide for the museums the following day! Transportation arrived a few minutes early and off we went the ride took about an hour. Gerardo made the time flyby giving us information about the history and the site. He had an iPad with plenty of pictures and maps to really help it along. Was a very nice touch. Once we got to the site we started at one end and visited all of the sites explaining along the way and answering all of our questions it was a great trip. Highly recommended Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the history. We stopped for lunch at a place recommended by him. Lunch was quite good.

From the moment our guides greeted us at the hotel, their friendliness and professionalism truly set the tone for the day. They provided a clear rundown of expectations and travel time, making us feel comfortable right from the start. The drive to the site was an added benefit, as they pointed out interesting local points of interest along the way. At Teotihuacán, their historical insights about the layers of the site and the ancient social structure were fascinating. Exploring the pyramids and climbing to the top provided incredible views, and we really appreciated our guide capturing great memories with photos. We were also especially amazed by the opportunity to see some of the neighborhoods being uncovered and to taste local indigenous plant beverages. Overall, having a private tour for our group of four was excellent value, complete with a very safe and reliable driver. This tour was truly terrific.

My husband and I took a private tour to the pyramids with Miguel this week. He offered a ton of detail on what we were seeing that we would not have gotten walking the site on our own. It is clear that he has a deep understanding of the history and archeology from his education and current work as a professor.
