Teotihuacan Balloon Flight With Cave Breakfast + Pyramids

Capitan Christopher is friendly and a good guide and gives instructions clearly. the balloon experience was very calm and beautiful. this tour provides coffee, cookies, and tea before the flight for free! and everyone is very friendly. I recommend coming in the morning to see the sun rise. being in the hot air balloon basket can be packed but it is still very nice and u can still have a nice experience. I would say that this tour is best for anyone wether its family or with ur partner or by urself it it will still be a cool experience and you forget ur even in the sky, it goes very slowly. The ride was provided with my tour and it picked me up at my hotel at 4 :30 am but waking up early was worth seeing the sun rise. this tour can last you the whole day but depends on ur group.

Every single part of this experience, from the early morning pick-up by our magnanimous driver Jose, to our orientation at the balloon-flight waiting centre by the amazing Itamar. Our driver Jose imparted super interesting niche knowledge about the areas we were driving through and drove like an absolute pro through the streets of Mexico City-no easy task on its own. Itamar is an amazing dude. Someone I could see myself easily becoming good friends with. He is well travelled and very well spoken. Perfectly fluent in both Spanish and English, so he was easily able to communicate with me in Spanish, and my non-Spanish speaking wife in English. The artisanal coop they took us to was incredible and fascinating. John showed us around and imparted incredible knowledge about the indigenous plants and minerals that are so crucial to his native culture. I ended up buying a beautiful golden-obsidian skull pendant to wear around my neck. I would recommend this travel experience to any single personal who has ever had any glimmer of archeological curiosity.

This is easily one of the best tour experiences I’ve ever had. I felt well taken care of, and every detail was clearly explained. Our tour guide, Ms. Monse, was very professional, friendly, and organized, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable and stress-free. The hot air balloon ride itself was incredibly smooth. As someone who gets anxious about heights and flying, I felt safe and at ease throughout the experience. It truly became a memory I’ll never forget. It was worth the early wake up! Itamar was our guide and we came to know him while waiting for the weather conditions to improve for the balloon ride, he was very nice and personable! The balloon trip was totally worth it, as was the Teotihuacanos gem workshop. The place we got the breakfast was a bit touristy and the cacao workshop wasn't worth the stop that much, in my opinion! Overall Teotihuacan pyramids were amazing, especially paired with the guided tour they offer.

The Teotihuacan hot-air balloon experience with cave breakfast and CDMX pickup was magical and smoothly organized. Pickup was punctual right out our hotel the driver was polite, and the overall logistics were stress-free. The sunrise flight over the pyramids was breathtaking, offering peaceful panoramic views, and the cave breakfast afterward was a unique and charming touch. Our guide, Ithamar, was friendly and attentive, consistently checking in to ensure everyone was comfortable. The only downside was the lack of an included guided tour of Teotihuacán itself which would have added valuable context and perfectly rounded out an already wonderful experience.

Since we arrived, Safiro was very kind to us; she even lent me her jacket because it was very cold. She was very attentive in explaining the process of what we would do during the day, she took pictures of us and gave us one of them.

Excellent experience to observe the pyramids of Teotihuacán. It's worth it. It is necessary to come well dressed in warm clothes.

At first it didn't go well: we were not picked up in the morning. The hotel lady called the organization and they said that we had not responded to their email. I haven't received that yet. I received the email at 11:32 PM. But then we were already asleep because we had to get up at 4 o'clock again. But the man on the phone rescheduled us for the next day. Luckily. We were picked up nicely at the hotel then. It was a beautiful day with super experiences!! The balloon ride was very nice, although we didn't go far. The breakfast in the cave was delicious. Then on to a cooperative about the old traditions with a shop. We had a guide from the cooperative: he was trying a little too hard to sell us something in the end. Getting almost uncomfortable. Then on to the temple city: beautiful. Tired of going back to Mexico City. But before we got to the hotel, we were all dropped off from the bus: here and no further. Surprise for us. Too bad. What made the day super was our personal guide Ithamar! He helped us wherever he could, provided extra information and took photos and a video of us in the balloon. So nice! Later he sent that and learned from us that we would not be brought back to the hotel: he was also surprised by that. He will check how that is. Tip for them: mention it very clearly to your guests. It was a fairly complete tour where we could learn about Mexican culture, especially Teotihuacan. Knowing the pyramids, seeing the sunrise in the balloon, knowing the crafts, the typical foods and drinks of the area was something supremely valuable and wonderful, because you really know and appreciate the culture. Ithamar’s accompaniment and knowledge was also great, it can solve any doubts you have, as can Karim, the driver. Super recommended! They were also very complimentary, friendly and pleasant.
