Horrible, trip ruining experience. The tour operator texted the day before the experience to coordinate pick up and times. I responded with our hotel address and received no response at the time they said they would follow up with a pickup time. At 10pm the night before we were supposed to be up and ready at 5am, I texted again to follow up and the operator then said their logistics team could not coordinate the pickup and had cancelled our trip, then asked me to cancel through Viator (which I could not do without forfeiting the entire payment). I still have not received a refund nor apology from the tour operator. We were unable to book anything else due to the last minute cancellation, and this was our big activity we were really looking forward to. Extremely disappointing and frustrating.

After making your reservation, we will contact you so that you can have the information of your driver, who will pick you up at the location you send us. The driver will wait for you in the lobby of your hotel, Airbnb, between 4:50 am and 5:00 am, to be able to bring you to Teotihuacan and you can begin this unforgettable experience. At the balloon port you can enjoy a coffee break, so that you can enjoy the balloon inflation and capture photographs of the moment And now it's time to enjoy the paradise of Teotihuacan by flying in a balloon (Time includes the transfer from your hotel to Teotihuacan)

We had an incredible experience on this tour. Our guide Ithamar was fantastic! Kind, professional, and very attentive throughout the day. It was my partner’s birthday, and the team surprised us a bunch of times by holding up a Happy Birthday sign under the balloon, which made the morning even more special. Pickup was direct from our hotel. Our driver, Derwin, was exactly on time, and drove very smooth. The hot air balloon flight over Teotihuacan was breathtaking and truly a must-do when visiting Mexico City. The cave breakfast is also excellent - great Chilaquiles! We also enjoyed the Tlalocan portion, very cool education on the local culture, and the artwork for sale is quite stunning. Be prepared that its a bit of a tourist trap there, but everyone is very nice and it never felt too pushy. One tip for future travelers: there are several points where tips are requested, so bring extra cash and smaller bills. We didn’t plan for this and couldn’t tip Ithamar as much as we wanted to, which we deeply regret. Overall, this was the highlight of our trip. Beautiful views, well organized, and a great team that made it memorable.

It was a great experience! We started the day with hot air balloons, breakfast in a cave, a tour inside the cave, the Chrystal art museum, Teotihuacan pyramids, and then they took us to make our own chocolate. Great experience! Our tour guide Ithamar was great! Very informative, respectful, courteous, and attentive! He brought us water and offered to take pictures of us every step of the way, which is great for us cause my girl and I get caught up in the moment and forget to take pictures! Luis our driver was very punctual, cautious and made us feel safe! I strongly recommend this tour to anybody that decides to come to Mexico City!
A wonderful day. Easily our best day in Mexico City. Ithamar was our guide and he was great. He was knowledgeable, friendly and a gentleman. Everyone was very understanding of my Mother's disabilities. So much fun to be in the air with many balloons and beautiful views. Really enjoyed the agave and chocolate tours. Definitely recommended.

This tour was wonderful experience! The view of the many hot air balloons in the sky alongside the pyramids were so breathtaking! The person who managed the hot air balloon explained the instructions really well, and we had a smooth ride most of the way. Next we went to have breakfast in a cave, which was far more than I imagined! It’s like a little restaurant in there. Although there is two options for food choice (chilaquiles or an omelette), the food was really delicious, especially the complementary cafe de olla. Once we were done with our meals, we headed over to a place where someone explained the history of the art behind the Aztecs. You also get to try different alcohol drinks that come from a mother plant. After the informative stop, we head over to the pyramids, where you get to take a bunch of photos and learn more about the pyramids. (Keep in mind though, there is an approximately 10 minute walk to get to the face of the pyramid, and some steep stairs to get to the other pyramid, so manage your time!) To end it off, we went to a place where they teach you about the cacaos. You get to make some chocolate of your own the old fashion way, and of course get to taste it. Overall, this trip was absolutely fantastic, and I highly recommend!
I really had a great time! The hot air ballon ride over the pyramids was amazing!!! It was very organized from beginning to end. Breakfast in a cave was a unique experience. We had the chance to visit a shop with artifacts along with tasting of different alcohols and then headed to the pyramids so we can see them by land as well. To finish the tour we were shown how chocolate is made and we were able to taste it. I highly recommend this tour! The tour guides are very nice and they helped us take pictures with their phones and then they sent them to us. What an amazing experience!
The tour was amazing, especially the hot air balloon ride! We were greeted with our very friendly guide who also took lots of pictures for us. Our hot air balloon departed at a good time therefore we were able to see the pyramids at the cusps of the sunrise, and then get to see the sunrise right afterwards. We also got close to the pyramids and got good views. Definitely recommend this tour and company!

Great trip you do a lot in a day but it’s well worth it so much history, views and food. You learn a lot but at the same time have fun.
