The pickup was easy, at a great bakery and our guide Bruno gave us interesting history of CDMX on the way to Teotihuacan. He was very knowledgeable about the pyramids and the murals and gave us many safety tips on climbing the steps! I really enjoyed the tour and thought the length was perfect!

Great service and a knowledgable guide
One of the best Tours I’ve done! My friends and I have been talking about visiting Teotihuacán for years and it did not disappoint. We decided to take a guided tour to really understand the history behind the place and to try to get an insight on what life was like during its golden age. Our tour guide was Hermes and we could not have asked for a better guide! One of the friendliest individuals we met during our stay in Mexico City with a heart of gold! It’s clear that all the locals care for him and he feeds the dogs that roam around the site! His knowledge of the place is outstanding and he welcomed all our questions, went at a pace that we were comfortable with, and gave us time and space to explore the site on our own. If you’re thinking of booking a tour, don’t hesitate to give these guys a call; hands down the best way to explore Teotihuacán if you’re going for the first time. Also, ask them to pick you up by the bakery, you won’t regret it!
I'm so glad I booked this tour for my sister and I. It was my first time in CDMX and I was so excited to make the trip to Teotihuacan. My sister had gone before and recommended finding a guided tour and she was right! Excellent Travel was great to work with, they were super communicative and confirmed the trip and travel logistics with me when I booked and the day before the outing. Bruno and Kevin were a great team who made our excursion out of the city smooth and painless. At the site, Bruno walked us around and shared information about the archeological locations and shared tips about best practices to get up and down the pyramids. It was a great morning trip and I am so grateful for having had the experience.
We had an amazing time on this excursion. Our guide, G.O., was very friendly, engaging, and super knowledgeable. It was a very comprehensive tour, and we greatly appreciated being taken to another part of the site that most may skip or be unaware of. Very small note is that the drop off instructions were a bit unclear. There were two option for pickups, and I understood drop off would be at the same place as where we were picked up, but we were dropped off at the alternative pickup option, causing a small delay in our plans for the afternoon as we had made plans near our pick up location.
Amazing tour guide. I don't speak Spanish but he was doing his tour in English and Spanish which I appreciated. He was very knowledgeable and me and the other couples had a great time at the pyramids.
Our tour was great. It was an early visit so it wasnt as crowded. Our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke well in English and Spanish. It was alot of walking which was expected but I love it. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella or hat for shade. Our pickup location was a short distance from where we were staying and they were right on time.
Had a great time. The ride there and back was great. Best time to come is in the morning time. No traffic! Were able to see everything with no crowds. Tour guide was awesome, very knowledgeable and great at explaining and guiding us to very good spots! Definitely would book them again!

Excellent visit to Teotihuacàn for the 2 of us. As we were the only 2 booked for this morning, Ricardo, our driver, pickup us directly at our hotel. He took care of us during our travel back and forth. On site, Eloy our guide was a deep source of knowledge. He explained and showed us a lot of small details that really made our trip very existing. He made sure we avoid the crowd, without missing anything. Thank to both of them.

We had the pleasure of touring Teotihuacan with Howard, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Mexico. From the moment we met him, Howard’s passion for history, archaeology, and the cultural richness of the site was palpable. He didn’t just walk us through the pyramids — he brought them to life. Howard’s knowledge is phenomenal. He explained the significance of the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon with such clarity and enthusiasm, weaving in stories about the ancient civilization, astronomical alignments, and architectural marvels. What set him apart was his ability to answer every question thoughtfully and create a warm, engaging atmosphere throughout. He speaks excellent English, too. Howard is a storyteller, a teacher, and someone who genuinely cares about the experience of his guests. We can’t recommend him highly enough. If you're visiting Teotihuacan, ask for Howard — he’ll make your visit truly unforgettable.
Amazingly knowledgeable guide, really good trip, fantastic sites and views. Really made the history come alive for us all. 2nd time I have visited but i learnt so much more this time. Driver was very skilled and kept us safe and comfortable.
Howard was a better tour guide than I ever could have expected (Ricardo was great, too)!! His knowledge is very impressive and his English is nearly perfect. He is also kind, funny, and personable, and he made everyone feel comfortable. There are lots of tour company options but I guarantee this is the one you should choose. I will never forget this experience.

Didn’t attend this tour since the tour organizer cancelled it 12 hours before. The tour was cancelled due to not meeting their minimum requirements. This put us in a position of needing to find another tour, which is not feasible within 12 hours. Would not recommend booking this!

Excellent tour of the ruins, our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Going early in the morning was definitely worth it for the less busy atmosphere.
Hermez was an amazing tour guide! We are from out of the country, and he made us feel right at home. He kept the tour fun and entertaining, and truly has a tremendous knowledge of Mexican history. The day went smoothly as he picked us up and dropped us off on time. 5 stars and fully recommend!
The pyramids are great and the story is exciting. The guide was nice and told a lot. Water there is only one small per person for the complete trip, which is too little. The driver has a terrible driving style (but that didn't hurt the pyramids).
We are delighted with our experience with Giovanni. The tour was very well taken care of with information and knowledge about the history and culture of the places very interesting and complete. We were able to avoid the tourist waves and we came out of this outing fed and happy!

I removed one star because there were communication problems for the pick-up location, the one Viator sent us, even on the morning of departure, and those received very late the day before departure from the claimant did not match. Communications should be adjusted.
The trip was excellent. Punctual, the vehicle is very clean and gave us opportunities to stop and buy snacks and drinks. I highly recommend him as a tour driver!
