We unfortunately went in 90 degree weather. The trip starts with collecting all travellers, visiting a church built in 1520 and then a souvenir shop. Arrived on a hot day with no cover at the beautiful pyramids. Cannot climb since covid. Lunch at a buffet restaurant with decent food including salads and fruits. After this a visit to the Guadalupe Church. Very fascinating. I'm my group all others were Spanish speakers. Therefore only got some attention in English.

Itinerary
Step into Mexico City’s fascinating past at the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, where three different eras of Mexican history come together. Admire the pre-Hispanic ruins of Tlatelolco, once home to the Mexica people, and discover the impressive pyramids and ancient remains that tell the story of life before the Spanish Conquest. Panoramic view and photo stop.
Discover the fascinating world of Mexican craftsmanship and tequila or mezcal tastig. Learn about obsidian, a volcanic stone deeply connected to Mexico’s pre-Hispanic heritage, and discover the traditions behind pulque, mezcal, tequila, and other handcrafted beverages. Enjoy a tasting of traditional Mexican drinks before continuing your journey.
Teotihuacán is a large Mexican Archaeological complex located northeast of Mexico City. Through the complex, which was once a flourishing pre-Columbian city, cross the Calzada de Los Muertos, which links to the Temple of Quetzalcóatl, the Pyramid of the Moon, and the Pyramid of the Sun. Inside the enclosure, in the Museum of Culture of Teotihuacán, objects such as pieces of pottery and bones are exhibited.
After exploring Teotihuacan, enjoy a stop for a delicious buffet lunch featuring a variety of Mexican dishes and flavors. The buffet is included only with the option that includes lunch. Guests who selected an option without lunch are also welcome to enjoy a meal at the restaurant at their own expense.
Discover one of Teotihuacan’s lesser-known treasures at the Plaza de la Ciudadela, a vast ceremonial complex that offers a different perspective of this ancient city. Admire the impressive Temple of Quetzalcoatl, known for its beautifully carved stone sculptures depicting the Feathered Serpent and other figures from Teotihuacan’s rich mythology. A special stop that allows you to explore beyond the main attractions and discover another fascinating side of this ancient civilization.
Visit the Basilica of Guadalupe, one of Mexico City’s most important religious and cultural landmarks. Dedicated to the Virgin of Guadalupe, the sanctuary welcomes millions of pilgrims and visitors every year. Discover the significance of this sacred site and learn about its deep connection to Mexican history, faith, and traditions. Take some time to explore the basilica and its surroundings before ending your tour

Amazing historical sites. Lovely tour guide and driver. The pyramids are jaw dropping. The Guadalupe Village is fascinating. Lunch was buffet style and delicious. So worth it.
Ursula was knowledgeable, handled the different language speakers well, and nicely had a small loudspeaker so we could all hear. Everything went very smoothly, she was flexible and I learned a learned quite a bit. Would highly recommend!
It is a place where mostly Catholic people attend, during the dates of July and December there are quite a few people since there are pilgrimages and the mornings to the Virgin of Guadalupe, it is a very central place because it is located in Mexico City. outside it there is a souvenir and food market
We enjoyed going to both places but only had 30 minutes at the shrine of our Lady of Guadalupe and I was thinking we would have at least an hour there. As a person of faith, I felt that the guide brought his anti Roman Catholic views to the tour and it was distracting and sometimes inappropriate. The pick up and drop off was extremely disorganized.
Although the overall experience was good, comfortable coach, courteous driver and a well planned day, the guide thoroughly bored us to death.
If you're an archaeology buff, you'll enjoy this trip! I love that it was a small group tour and that there was time to explore on your own... but unfortunately with our group the other members of the group did not pay attention to the tour guide in terms of meet up times. We ended up going very late to lunch because only two of us showed up at the meetup spot at Teotihuacan on time; two more people showed up 20 minutes later, and the rest of the group was nowhere to be seen even 45 minutes after the guide's original meetup time passed. We ended up having to rush through the Basilica part of the tour because we arrived there so late! But all in all, it was worth it. Amazing scenery, great guide, and a great experience that should not be missed for visitors to Mexico City.
Great side trip away from Mexico City if you appreciate history. My guide Victor was awesome. Although designed for small groups up to 15 to 20 people, I just happened to be the only one who signed up for the tour. They honored the same price and I had my own private tour! I wanted to do something interesting before my business trip and this was the perfect outing.
Started the off by getting picked up from the hotel, then the tour proceeded to the basilica do our lady of Guadalupe. Just being there, brings me goose bumps to my skin. The tour guide explained the legend of una Diego. After visiting the Virgen, we continued our adventure to the pyramids. Again, the guide was very knowledgeable in giving us facts about the tribes from that time.
From beginning to end. The driver was super nice, courteous and very friendly. The guide was super knowledgeable, respectable and well manered. Will never forget this amazing experience.
The locations were amazing and Victor was a decent tour guide. But we had signed up and paid for lunch to be included an at 1:45 on the way back to our hotel we were like uh lunch? There had been a mistake at the office so they gave us a 300 pesos refund but it was $42 extra to add lunch and the exchange rate that day was 19.40/1 dollar so our refund should have been 814.80 pesos. I am not sure if that was on purpose but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Definitely confirm at the beginning of your tour what you expect!
We took Mexitours. Ask for Vincente and David. They made the trip fun. Each stop had enough time to enjoy the sights. It is about 278 steps to the top. Worth the view. Guadalupe has beautigul painting in the old Cathedral and Mass is about every 30 minutes.
The overall experience was pretty average. We went to the basilica first in the morning and it was interesting and then took an hour ride to the piramids. What I liked: The pick up/drop of at our hotel was great. What I didn't like: After the basilica and before we were able to see the piramids, we had to stop at a roadside souviner shop, they had us do a mezcal tasting and taught us about agave and obsidians native to the area before giving us time to buy their souviners. I really wish they didn't do this, I just wanted to get to the piramids and the whole process took like 45 minutes. What was worse though is that 5 out of 7 of us on the trip selected the "No Lunch Included" option, but instead of just going back to the city like we were hoping to do, we had to go to this kitchy restaurant were we could order "a la carte" while the other two people in our group had a buffet lunch. The tour guide said that if he didn't give us an option to have lunch that we would be mad. We specifically selected No Lunch because we wanted to go back to the city early and eat lunch where we wanted. So instead of a 6 hour tour like was stated on the website, the whole tour was about 8 hours.
My tour guide's name was Sammy. He must have been some guy they found who they could teach three things to about every site. He started off by telling us some facts about the city, mainly how it was sinking, and then sat down and chatted with the driver in Spanish the rest of the time. He took us to a high-end store and told us not to buy anywhere else as it would be fake. He took us to a restaurant for lunch and disappeared. My lunch was 3x the price of my dinner at a local excellent restaurant. He took us to Teotihuacan and told us he'd be back to get us in 2 hours. He tried to get out of taking us to the Basilica. He ran us around the Basilica for about 10 minutes and told us about 3 facts about it. When dropped me off - my suitcase was in the back of the van with a handicraft I had purchased. I had my luggage since I was picked up at one hotel and dropped at another. The valet took my suitcase and then I realized that my purchase wasn't there, but he had already driven off. I had the concierge call first thing the next morning, and the tour company knew nothing about it and said there was nothing in the back of the van. Thieves.
Ursula was our outstanding guide, advisor, and friend on this adventure to the pyramids and to the Lady of Guadalupe shrine. What was totally unexpected was the short trip to Parque de las Tres Culturas...it was awesome and eye-opening. The trip to the craft shop was also great...with a touch of history and availability of items for purchase. This craft shop was another highlight. One detraction was the lunch at El Jaguar...food was not warm and it was not typical of the food of Mexico, with the exception of the separate table where quesadillas made to order were very good. The knowledge, experience and customer service of Ursula and the driver was truly outstanding.

Great tour! Definitely would recommend it if you are in the Mexico City area. The tour picked us up and dropped us off directly at our hotel in Mexico City which was very convenient. Seeing the pyramids and having the opportunity to climb to the top of the sun pyramid was definitely the highlight of the tour. I would suggest wearing sneakers or comfortable shoes to climb the pyramid. We didn’t initially buy the lunch with the package but ended up getting it when we got to the restaurant. The food was buffet style and had a good variety. Our tour guide Victor was great and really went above and beyond in every aspect. He was very knowledgeable about all the sites we visited and was very helpful in providing history of the area and recommendations of other places to visit while in Mexico.

Everything about this tour was great! We were picked up at our hotel lobby. The van was roomy and comfortable. We were only four on the tour my daughter and I plus a couple from Dallas. All four of us being Hispanic we did not mind the tour being in Spanish. Our tour guide Miriam was very informative. She began telling us the history of Mexico City and of many buildings and structures right as soon as we were all picked up and on the route to the Basilica of Guadalupe. We made a quick stop at the Plaza of the Three Cultures before heading out to the Basilica. At the Basilica we got to see the 'tilma' of Juan Diego and got to explore the Tepeyac hill and the former Basilicas. Before heading to the pyramids of Teotihuacan we learned about the maguey plant and its use by the natives and had a taste of mezcal and tequila. We then got to learn about the pyramids and their use by the Aztecs even though they were there before the Aztecs came into the region. Miriam had a lot of information and explained the developments archaeologists are making. We got a chance to climb the pyramid of the moon, walk the avenue of the dead, and then climb on the pyramid of the sun. If you get the lunch optional it is well worth it, in my opinion. The ride back into Mexico was smooth although we were all exhausted. Be sure to take comfortable shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and watch out as there are many vendors and some, not all, are very pestering.

Our guide Rafa was great but there was a lot of unnecessary stops along the way that involved purchasing things. The lunch included in the tour was not that great.

Sergio our tour guide was amazing! Had so much knowledge and such great attitude, he really loves his job and made the whole tour truly enjoyable!

The Basilica and the pyramids in Teotihuacan are unique and beautiful. The tour was well worth it for our family.
The logistics of the trip need to be improved. Because we were staying at a hotel not on the route of the van, we were asked to be at the lobby of another hotel at 9 a.m. sharp. However, the van did not arrive until 10a.m., cutting our tour short. There was a group from Peru and so the driver spoke in Spanish to them. Another guide, who spoke English was in the van and he was assigned to our family. There was a lack of coordination between the two guides at the Basilica: the two groups were separated and it took about 45 min. for the driver to contact our guide and tell him where we needed to find our van to continue our tour.
I would recommend some planning and guidelines on the part of the agency to correct the problems.
Olivia, Frank, Jack, and Reed

The guide was well-informed and attentive.
Everything was perfect. 10/10 experience.
Excellent tour. Everything was well organized, and the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Teotihuacán is an incredible place, and having explanations during the tour made a big difference. Highly recommended.
Gracias
The explanation of the guide and was very interesting the places you visited very good everything, is recommended.
We take the excursion to Teotihuacán and the Basilica of Guadalupe, the guide is magnificent, von much knowledge, very pleasant and willing to answer any doubts. Everything went as planned. Thank you!
You know the country, seeing its historic places and interacting with people and the possibility provided by the guides is very good, also the interaction with other people from other countries, enrich everything. Good visit and spiritual the entrance to the basilica of guadalupe.
