Everything was included and well organized. Our guide gave us good explanations that permit to understand what we were looking at. Teotihuacan was amazing. We eat well( buffet option) and the bus was comfortable. They let us enough free time to walk over and take photos. Great experience.
Overall tour was very good, amazing tour guide and fun experiences. My criticisms were allocate more time to Teotihuacán. As well as we booked the tour with the expectation that we were getting picked up close to the second stop by Mika Cafe, which is right across from our AirBnB. We figured we could wake up later and not have to get an uber first thing in the morning. The day before we got a notice from the agency that we should get to the hostel for pick up by 730, even though we booked for the other pick up spot. We tried to confirm if it was at the cafe or the hostel and the company wouldn’t give us a clear answer. In the end we woke up earlier and took an Uber to the hostel. We paid an extra Uber fee and woke up earlier because they couldn’t answer our questions. We asked in English and Spanish to be sure. As soon as we board the bus we realize we’re literally going back to our AirBnB even though we just left. Bad way to start an adventure, with extra transport charges and over an hour of sleep taken for no reason. I understand stand that people are busy but consistency and accuracy are crucial when it comes to travel.
the guide explained very detail, the whole tour is great and organized.
Very knowledgeable guide, super nice experience.
Very good experience! The places and the arqueological ruins must to be understood by the history that the guides provides us!
Great experience that I will carry for life. The guide and the company as a whole was great. The loe point is the time: be prepared to look at everything in time because its too much.
I was in the English-speaking group and I found that my guide Miri was nice and said a lot of information but the speed of the walk and explanations felt a little bit slow. When Alex would explain things to the entire group I personally preferred his style, he was very positive, and he explained things very clearly and with such passion that I was very drawn to listen to his stories. I really enjoyed that the tour in general had a stop to taste some drinks including tequila, and another stop to have lunch. The pyramids were also fantastic. The tour in general was a really great experience and I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you so much!
Beautiful experience and really fantastic guide!
Great guide, great plan. All you have to do is just take the bus and enjoy your trip!
Alex was an incredible Guide. The tour is definitely a 10/10.
Alex was amazing ! We were so entertained, and impressed by his genuine interest in us and love for his culture. He gifted us with cute gifts at the end with a quiz :) we are happy to go with Neri and Alex. We totally recommend !
Great, Alicia was really cool, she showed us everything with kind and great energy. Totally recomended!!
It was my first time in an hot air balloon. Alicia did an amazing job from start to finish. She spoke in both Spanish and English to make sure everybody understood. The trip was great and incredible. Definitely recommend
Great tour by Antonio and Alex.
Alex was a great tour guide and we learned allot. I recommend the morning tour to beat the crowds.
Miriam's guide was incredible, respectful, friendly, and very attentive to what each person would need. She also explained each experience and known place very well. I highly recommend her.
Tourguide Lily was great! Like this tour
David and Hartel are experienced guides. David is our English-speaking tour guide, who was knowledgeable, engaging, and explained everything clearly. The driver is steady and safe, although the car was a bit stuffy. Overall, this is a historical site Teotihuacan not far from the city center and well worth a visit."
Guides David and Hector were amazing! Only complaints are with the company - A/C on bus was broken. This bus should not be in use of it can't be reasonably comfortable. Also the timing and loca5of pickups was not consistent across tour info before purchasing or the various emails. Paid extra for pickup then realized there was a scheduled, standard pickup by my hotel. Got dropped off with no info and told to wait there. Tried calling and was told they were on the way. The bus had actually been waiting for us for 10mins in another location and we almost missed it.
Hector and David were very helpful. Amazing experience!! I recommend this tour.
Hector and Alex were amazing guides. They really made the whole experience much better.
Fantastic visit , very nice guide!
Hector and Alex were great! It’s a full day of sightseeing and we enjoyed the tour. Ed
Alex and Hector were incredible guides, very knowledgeable and full of energy. Would recommend!
Miriam was e excellent. Whatever they are paying her, she should get a raise. David our driver was also excellent. It was difficult travel due to the protests and he navigated with expertise
My tour guides, Lili and Hector, were fantastic! They were both incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and engaging. They explained the history and fascinating stories behind each attraction in great detail, making the entire experience even more enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommend them and this tour!
I really like the esperen e with Lili and Hector .. information was good i recomendado its very convenient and fun
Alex was a wonderful guide. So informative and engaging. Thanks for a wonderful time.
This tour is an affordable option for visiting Teotihuacan, but it comes with several caveats. Here is what to expect and how to prepare: Choose your pickup spot carefully: If you board at 7:30 AM at Hostel Amigo in the city center, expect to lose an hour driving through traffic to the second pickup point (Miga Café near Insurgentes). Pick the second location if it works for your route. Onboard bathroom: While staff discourage passengers from using the bus restroom, you can still use it if needed. The bathrooms at certain stops are less than ideal. Consider packing your own tissues. Rushed itinerary at Tlatelolco: Our bus drove straight past Plaza de las Tres Culturas without stopping, so do not expect dedicated time to explore it. Clarify logistics with the guide: Our English-speaking guide Hector was friendly, but spoke quickly, mumbled at times, and mixed up critical details—such as the meeting time (9:25 vs. 10:25), meeting gates (Gate 2 vs. Gate 3), and historical dates (1868 vs. 1968). Always double-check times and locations with the guide before walking away. Tourist-trap shopping stop: You will spend roughly an hour at Artesanías El Quetzal outside the ruins. The brief educational demo on obsidian, maguey, and tequila is interesting, but the merchandise is marked up 4x to 5x. Wait until you are inside Teotihuacan to buy souvenirs, where local vendors offer much better prices and room to negotiate. Ask for your site ticket immediately: Your tour ticket includes entry to on-site exhibits like the Teotihuacán Culture Museum. Our guide never distributed the physical tickets, and I was turned away at the museum door after walking across the complex. Make sure to request your individual ticket as soon as you arrive. Very late lunch (pack snacks): You don't arrive to the restaurant until around 3:00 PM. The stop itself (Restaurant Tlacaelel) features solid food, reasonable prices, and lively traditional dance and music performances. The à la carte menu is significantly less expensive than the buffet, so choose that option when booking if the buffet isn't your thing.
Gerson was a fantastic guide. Really knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Thank you and Lorenzo for driving. I’d highly recommend this tour.
Super good experience with Hector!! He has so much energy whenever he explains anything throughout the tour! Really appreciated having him as a tour guide!
This was our family’s first trip to Mexico. We were recommended to book a tour to visit the Teotihuacan pyramids. I booked with Amigo Tours because of a few good reviews I read. I am to say it was worth every penny. Alex and Alexa were both very informal, welcoming and very great tour guides. Made our tour very fun, easy and entertaining. We highly recommend Amigo Tours and Alex and Alexa as your tour guide. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
This trip, we had the best guide and the worst arrangements! In the morning, we first gathered and then waited 15 minutes; after visiting the Basilica of Our Lady, we waited another 15 minutes—one 15-minute wait after another ate up our time. Second, I find it hard to understand why lunch was scheduled at the very end of the entire itinerary, while the visit to the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon was placed at high noon, the hottest and sunniest time of day, completely inconsistent with the detailed timetable. Who schedules lunch at afternoon tea time?
Great team, high energy, very informative
Poncho, Jorge, and Alejandro were great the entire time! Amazing experience. Please book with them. It lasted the whole day but we were very taken care of.
Jorge and Alfonso were extremely great and informative about all the culture and history. Fue un placer tomar este tour! It wouldn’t be the same experience without them being our guides.
Jorge (George) our English speaking guide was fantastic. Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful!
The tour guides were knowledgeable and made the trip fun and informative.
Great experience with Amigo Tours.
It is a good day trip for the price. The guides are very organized and knowledgeable. It is better to not select the lunch buffet, then you can choose from the lunch menu and just pay for what you order (much cheaper than the buffet). The only downside is that the lunch stop is very long.
Great day for a tour of Teotihuacan with Lili and Victor from Amigo Tours! Thank you! Highly recommended!
The whole experience is extremely worth it! The amount of stuff they taught, the amount of places we went to and the things we saw made it amazingly worth it. Both Alex and Alexa are amazing people, fun, intelligent, and knows what they are doing. It was all day event. Friendly people all around.
Thanks to our guide's detailed explanations, I was able to gain a deeper understanding and enjoyment of the Teotihuacan ruins during the tour. A big thank you to our guide Alicia and driver Thomas for making this the best memory! Thank you!
The experience is wonderful! Tour guide Alicia was so nice and her guide let me get to understand the cites’ historical background. However, the restaurant didn’t meet my expectations. But the guide made by Alicia was really nice and fully recommend.
I did the early morning tour. Totally worth getting up early to beat the crowds. Alicia was efficient and informative!
our guides Alicia and Jorge were fantastic. Very knowledgeable and the tour was very organized. Highly recommend and hope you get Alicia and Jorge as guides.
FOR VEGANS, no vegan food options so bring ur own food.
The tour was fantastic, and our guide, Alex, did an excellent job. He was patient, responsible, and attentive to everyone’s needs. His energy and positivity made the experience even more enjoyable.
Eleazar was an absolutely wonderful tour guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much interesting information throughout the entire experience. The group size was perfect, which made the atmosphere feel comfortable and enjoyable. My only wish is that we had a little more time to explore the Basilica, but overall, it was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend this tour!
