From the moment you arrive at the office in Teotihuacán, you realize this is not just another tourist activity; it’s a very personal and special experience\. Once you’re up in the air, the captain makes the entire journey even more incredible\. He explains everything with such passion and knowledge, making you feel comfortable, excited, and completely at ease\. Throughout the flight, he shares fascinating stories about the history and culture of Teotihuacán while reminding us to breathe, appreciate the beauty around us, embrace nature, and, most importantly, enjoy life\! What impressed me the most was how incredibly close he was able to take us to the pyramids\. Seeing these magnificent ancient structures from above is something words simply cannot describe\. **It’s more than a hot air balloon ride; it’s an experience that touches your soul, opens your eyes, and reminds you how beautiful life is\.** Sometimes, we just need to step outside our comfort zone, look at the world from a different perspective, and allow ourselves to be amazed\. Once in a the lifetime experience “Happy Fly/Genesis Fly” has wonderful management and amazing staff! The ride is about 46 minutes long! Everyone here has a wonderful attitude, personality, and really enjoy working and meeting new people! I highly recommend captain Gabriel Ortuńo! He shows you and takes you through a one of a kind of experience! 10/10!!

From start to finish, this was a wonderful bucket-list experience. We were picked up exactly on time at 4:40AM and driven about 1 hour to Happy Fly to check in for the balloon ride. The Happy Fly team made us feel very safe and special. We experienced a 45 minute sunrise balloon ride that was smooth and comfortable with the most beautiful views. Our Captain Gabriel was very skillful, careful, and super nice. He is so precise that he was able to land us on a flat bed trailer attached to a pickup truck. Amazing! After the ride, we all toasted with sparkling wine and received flight diplomas. The cave breakfast was very enjoyable. We then spent about 1 hour walking around the Teotihuacan pyramids (surreal, and remarkable) before heading back to our Airbnb in Roma Norte. We were back home by 1PM. This is a must do experience and we will treasure it always.

When I booked, English service was explicitly offered and confirmed. In reality, the entire tour was conducted in Spanish. I asked multiple times to translate, and while there were occasional attempts, they were minimal and largely unhelpful - I missed most of the commentary about the pyramids and had no idea what was being said about timing, locations, or when we'd be returning. I ended up just sticking close to other people in my group to follow along. The balloon experience on its own? Incredible. But everything around it - the cultural context, the history, the logistics - was completely lost on me. If you don't speak Spanish, I'd strongly recommend searching for a company that actually delivers on the English guide they promise. I wish I had.

Originally booked because it was a little bit of a cheaper option, but turned out so much better. Only 5 people on our tour meant that it practically felt like a private tour. They picked us up right from our Airbnb and were very communicative on WhatsApp. We were the only non-native Spanish speakers on the tour, but they went out of their way to make sure that they always had someone translating for us, so we didn’t miss out on anything. The balloon ride was unforgettable. Could have done without the obsidian cultural experience that felt more like a tourist trap than anything else, but we were able to work with them on how much time we spent at the pyramids since it was a small group and we were a little tired. Definitely recommend!

Was asked for review in exchange for a gift but would have reviewed anyways as I had a great experience. Almost booked with Volare but I’m glad I didn’t. I booked 9pm the night before, Viator said my pick up hotel was outside of the pickup zone despite being in the heart of Roma Norte. Teotihuacan Feliz responded to my WhatsApp inquiry within minutes. Very professional, ensured that I would be picked up at hotel and sent a graphic with driver’s name, picture, car model and plate. Booking with Teotihuacan Feliz felt very intimate, a group of 10 of us went up in the balloon with our pilot Gabriel (Volare had ~10 balloons that took off after us). We weren’t one of the first in the air so the pictures didn’t have the orange sunrise if that’s what you want, but as the first balloons took off just after sunrise you would be hard pressed to find that. They offer a picture/ drone video package. We had a fight time of 47 minutes, which is great as I was told flight time would be 35-45 minutes. Afterwards we had breakfast in the cave which was an even smaller group of 4 plus 2 guides (most of the group had booked another breakfast experience). Was then brought to the tequila/ mezcal tasting at the artesanal market, not for me personally felt like a tourist trap. Opted to skip the pyramids and go straight back to CDMX and was back in Roma Notre before 11am.

Amazing experience from start to finish! Teotihuacan sunrise balloon flight was absolutely unforgettable. The entire team was friendly, welcoming, and made the experience so fun. Andrea was incredibly helpful throughout everything and made sure we were taken care of. Captain Gabriel did an amazing job and made the balloon ride smooth, safe, and enjoyable. The breakfast afterward in the cave was incredible and such a unique experience. As a vegetarian, I really appreciated that they had lots of veggie options, and everything was delicious. If you’re visiting Mexico City or the Teotihuacan area, I highly recommend this experience. Truly a 5-star memory!

Very fun would do it again. Maybe we could get closer to the pyramids next time, but overall good.
