The description did not exactly match the experience. We had a good experience but different than expected. It was a spanish/english tour with more emphasis on spanish. Lunch was not included, we knew that, but a space had been reserved at a restaurant for the group. This was news to us. We enjoyed our lunch but probably would of preferred making our own choice according to our own budget. Very little historical i formation was shared on the churches we visited. This was disappointing. Taxco is lovely and driving home at night provided an amazing view of Mexico city!

Taxco's 18th century Baroque style church is a true piece of architectural beauty. Our guide will tell you all about the history of the church and the interesting alter pieces housed inside it
Famous for its beautiful weather, Cuernavaca is a pretty colonial city just outside of Mexico's capital. We will visit Hernán Cortes's palace and the city's cathedral with its murals dating back to the 16th century.
We will take you to one of Taxco's famous silver workshops to see how they make their iconic jewelry. Whilst there, we will also have a Tequila and Mezcal tasting to get your taste buds firing!

The tour was to be in English and we were the only English speakers The guide Rodrigo was excellent and the sights and his knowledge was excellent For a 12 hour tour it would be nice to converse with the other travlers
It was fine. You’ll benefit if you understand Spanish, although the guide is certainly better in Eng than I am with Esp. Getting out of the city provided great perspective on modern Mexico, but I was looking for more culture, history, and time to explore. The group’s time was mainly spent in 2 guide-selected silver shops, a guide-selected restaurant with spectacular view, and snoozing in the van. We had about 30 min free time in Taxco to descend to the meeting point.
If you like to silver; this tour is for you. Also some gorgeous views of the mountains and hill tops. Great shopping. I bought a few pieces. The guide and driver did an excellent job.
Juan and Marcos were great the entirety of our tour together. Marcos provided insightful information and made sure to keep us safe when we're in the city. Our driver was excellent in this very long trip as well.
My only complaint is that the tour should include a rest stop on the way back to Mexico City. The ride was over 3 hours.
Angela was a fantastic guide! She brought plenty of knowledge and experience to our tour. We could talk about lots of different aspects of life in Mexico and her understanding of Mexican history was great! She brought water for us. I particularly wanted to shop for high end silver jewelry and she helped me accomplish my mission! It was a beautiful drive over to Cuernavaca and Taxco - lovely day trip!
The trip from CDMX is way too long we spent almost 8 hrs in the car and although TAXCO is very beautiful the street are flooded with cars which makes it scary to walk around. Had I known it was so far away I would have not booked this trip
Terrible The Van in which we were traveling was not in a good condition. Has to wait 1 hour for a new car to arrive. We deserved one more hour in Taxco for the wait, and did not get that. Tour to Cuernavaca is not worth it either. Taxco is beautiful, we needed more time there.
Great service. Nice tourist guide who explains really well. It was a private tour. If you visit Mexico you’ll love visiting Taxco and Cuernavaca.
Our tour guide Francisco and Hector gaves us a thru explanation of the city of Taxco. Taxco is just a magical Pueblo with beauty everywhere.
The trip was fun. We learned about story Philip of Jesus at Cuernavaca Cathedral, learned about the Church of Santa Prisca in Taxco. Visited interesting silver workshops around the plaza. Jorge is very knowledgeable.
We enjoyed the unhurried stroll on the cobblestone roads of Taxco to see the cathedral and to have lunch in the restaurant. It was a nice diversion from the excitement and hustle bustle of Mexico City. Only two complaints we have. First, the stop at the Cuernavaca to see the church is not worthwhile given it church complex is not impressive and the drive through the city to reach the complex. Second, our tour guide Francisco made long monologues in Spanish to the Spanish speaking guests about the history and culture and for us two only as English speakers he gave a very short explanation.
A rather long day but if you're not going to get to see a colonial town in the other way it's definitely worth it! Taxco is lovely, we had a very nice lunch at a good restaurant, and there's silver everywhere! There was a brief stop in Cuernavaca, just to break up the trip, s saw the main church and 2 side chapels. Ursula does a fantastic job! A very nice day in the mountains of Mexico.
The guide was knowledgable and helpful. Taxco was magnificent and not to be missed. The silver jewelry was a exquisite and provided a tremendous value. The driver was courtesy and a pleasure.
We had a great day getting out and back from Taxco. The tour was exceptional as was our guide and drive. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The road is a bit windy so if you get motion sickness easily, plan accordingly. Highly recommend.
Great day trip! Cuernavaca is a nice stop and Taxco is absolutely beautiful. The guide and driver were very good. Just be aware, it’s a long day and if you are sitting in the very back of the van, you really feel the bumps in the road.
Taxco was the best. In my opinion you could skip Curenavaca. It took time away from Taxco. Our guide Jose was great and the bus driver whose name I didn't get was wonderful. This tour picked us up at our home and took us back to our hotel which was a great benefit that I needed, It was a small group of 4 couples which was much better than a big bus full of people
The first problem arose when I tried MANY numerous times to reach the tour company, to no avail. Next the bus/van was uncomfortably hot inside and the driver drove rather scarily fast , all the while selfishly blasting ethnic music. The tour itself ( and the tour guide) were fine and very pleasant. Although a tad bit boring and uneventful. The drive back was excruciating in the warm van , with a noisy Ecuadorian family and the blasting music- it took 4 hours , making a 12 hr grueling trip!
Rocio and Jesus were informative, helpful and kind. They went out of their way to make the experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible for each of us. My favorite part was our time in Taxco, from the busy zócalo to the views from the Cristo Rey. We enjoyed an amazing rooftop meal at El Atrio, as well. For the time in Cuernavaca, I wish we had made more stops rather than just the cathedral. But overall, I very much enjoyed this trip and I learned a lot.
I thought the tour was nice. Raul the tour guide was very pleasant and informative; his driver was great. I feel that the time in Cuernavaca is a waste. There really wasn't much to do or see in Cuernavaca. Taxco silver jewelry was nice, I bought a few pieces of jewelry ; reasonable prices.
Loved everything about this tour! I would choose this same tour again. Bilingual Tour Guide Juan was excellent.
Leider - obwohl gebucht- keine englische Reiseführung - die Reiseleitung konnte nichts dafür, da alle anderen Mitreisenden Spanisch als Muttersprache hatten .
