We took this tour with Minerva, and she was great. Super friendly and very knowledgeable about the culture. It was a leisurely pace with many stops, don’t think you’re too out of shape to take this tour! The final stop was a Michelin rated restaurant for tacos.

A wonderful tour! I would highly recommend! Hector took four of us on a tour through the major historical sites of Mexico City displaying an encyclopedic and wide ranging knowledge of the history of Mexico and Mexico City. We went overtime and Hector didn’t rush us through at all. A great way to see the City and an introduction to the important sites. It was safe and the bikes were great!
A big Thank You to Hector and Minerva for taking such great care of us on our bike tour of Mexico City! Hector's vast knowledge and passion for Mexican history and culture was on full display during our excursion. We learned so many interesting facts and got to see Mexico City in a unique and exciting way. We felt totally safe leisurely cruising around the city and the ride was mostly flat/very easy. This was the highlight of our visit to CDMX. If you only do one tour while in Mexico City, this is the one :-) Thanks again guys!
safe, brightly lit store you can trust for your loved ones to visit. real good food around the clock, friendly staff, great coffee and drinks section, spotless rest rooms. the owners did everything right to make your visit a pleasure!
So. Much. Fun! We had a fantastic guided tour with Angel and Minerva through the historic center of Mexico City. They had our bikes prepped beforehand, provided bottles of water, helmets, and was super patient throughout the entire tour. They even volunteered to take our photos in front of significant landmarks on the tour. We finished our tour at a local taco spot that had the best tacos!! Overall, I'd highly recommend this tour!! Thank you so much Angel and Minerva!!
This was a great introduction to Mexico City. The guides were very accomodating to all different kid sizes and all of my kids had an appropriately sized bike. We felt safe riding in the city even if it was on the city streets. The guides went above and beyond trying to keep us safe. The tacos at the end of the tour were delicious! Thank you for a great experience!
Amazing and wonderful tour with Hector. He is rich with information in mexico historic events...he takes his time to ensure you are getting all what you need. The ride itself was amazing.
Angel was a great guide for our tour of Mexico City. He was very knowledgeable on the history of CDMX and was able to safely guide us around using bike lanes. Traffic in the city is quite intense, but Angel was able to navigate us through the most well-known neighborhoods without a hitch. We stopped for delicious tacos near the end of the tour, which was a real treat. Don't hesitate to ride with Angel!
Great way to see CDMX! Guide was knowledgeable. It is not a trip if you do not know how to bike between crowds.
Angel was a wonderful guide who safely guided us through the streets and sights of CDMX. We lucked out and were in a group of 5 people. That was a great size group for him to wrangle us through the city and for us to be able to hear him. He gave fun local knowledge and history in addition to the main points about the sites. Angel is a warm and humorous person. He answered our follow-up questions too and recommended his favorite taco spot for post-tour lunch.
This was great fun, really interesting and informative. Angel, our guide, was knowledgeable and full of facts and insights about all of the places that we visited and their part in Mexican history and culture. He was also a terrific cycling guide, using hand signals to alert us to pavement irregularities and upcoming traffic issues. Most of the ride was on bike paths; at one point we had to pedal in traffic due to an unanticipated road closure and he was really skilled at communicating both to us and to motorists to keep us safe. The ride was long but generally flat, so only modesty strenuous. Highly recommended.
Lots of fun with Angel. Felt safe and cared for in risky conditions. It was exciting to ride in the city. The mural museum was closed but Angel entertained us with more riding and stories. We even enjoyed watching him fix a flat tire on his bike! If you like a slight risk with a lot of fun I’d recommend biking with this tour.
Guide canceled 10 hours prior to start time so we were not able to attend tour. Luckily Sunday was cyclovia (city closed street for riding) so we rented citi bikes and explored Roma, bosque and zocalo.
As soon as we walked up and met Marco, who greeted us with an engaging smile, we knew we were in for a great day. Marco was very knowledgeable about Mexico City history and culture, taking us through several beautiful neighborhoods as well as downtown. He was very patient and made sure we stayed safe, picking routes that provided bike lanes or roads with less traffic. You can tell Marco loves this city and was wonderful at sharing it with us.
We had a great time on our tour! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and because it was just us plus our guide, we were able to go at our own pace, slowing down a bit when we wanted to stop and see a show in Parque de Chapultepec. Though it was busy in some of the areas we visited, we never felt unsafe on the bikes - our guide used clear signals and always checked to make sure we were okay. I do recommend bringing sunscreen and water and snacks - one bottle of water was provided, but on a hot day like our tour, it was not enough to last the entire tour. Thank you, Pedalea Mexico, for a great tour!
Great bike tour of the Roma and Condesa neighborhoods. Friendly guides who made sure our group of 10 safely made it through the 4 hour tour
What a wonderful time our family had touring beautiful Mexico City. Our guide, Angel made sure that our tour was perfect, educational, and special. Angel is an amazing resource filled with the history and culture of Mexico. He made all of us feel safe and comfortable. We had a great time! Gracias, Michael, Max, and Ryland
Highly, highly recommend this biking tour. It made the whole city feel accessible and more familiar - amazing thing to do first day you get here! We also heard so many anecdotes and fun stories about the city, it just made us feel more included and excited about our time here. Me and my husband did it together and had a very easy time keeping up! This had definitely started a new tradition where we will do it in every city :)
Luis, Giovani and Marco were excellent it getting a group of 9 women safely across the city. They were patient with us, very flexible with our needs and timing, and very competent riders! Would highly recommend a tour with them- especially if you want to do a large group activity!
Giovanni and Luis were wonderful guides - we got a large chunk of history throughout the bike tour, including some of the darker sides of Mexico City (re: anti-monuments). I’ve been lucky enough to navigate a bicycle in San Francisco, which can be sometimes dangerous and requires some grit. Mexico City, while well equipped for cyclists with lots of protected lanes, requires even more grit. Both Giovanni and Luis were aggressive in keeping us safe throughout the tour, using audio cues to drivers and even putting themselves in the way of cars to protect us. Would recommend this tour, esp if you’re looking to work off all of those tacos and tortas you’ve accumulated ;)
We took a risk with Pedalea by booking TWO tours with them - Cultural Tour and Coyoacan/Frida Kahlo Tour - on a short visit to Mexico City. And boy did it pay off!! Aremy, Geovany and Alejandro were fantastic guides - they expertly and safely guided us through the streets of CDMX. The city is a surprisingly wonderful place to ride bicycles, with quiet tree-shaded boulevards and dedicated bike lanes, but these guides went above and beyond by putting themselves in front of oncoming traffic at intersections, keeping the group together, and ensuring that we were always seen by cars and motorcycles. Geovany took special care of my twelve-year-old daughter so that she was always riding safely near him. This allowed us to relax and enjoy the rides. All three guides were super knowledgeable and enthusiastic and we learned so much about Mexican history from them. These tours were a highlight of our trip to CDMX - such a perfect way to take in the sites! Thank you!!
We covered some ground going from the small neighborhoods into the historic town center and all around. The guides were great and knowledgeable and kept us super safe in the traffic. I even had a flat tire and they quickly got me on one of their bikes while they stayed behind to fix mine. They were flexible in our timing to get us back for our next outing and shared their knowledge at each of our stops. My only criticism would be that I wish we would have had more insight of places that we passed or things along the way. At times we were really cruising between points, which got us from a to b in a timely manner, but just wish I knew a little more about the spots between. Overall a great tour though. Also LOVED that they took pictures along the way and emailed them to us at the end. What a great add!
My husband and I took this tour and were very impressed with the knowledge of the guides, a history student and an English graduate. The cultural part included a meal tasting which was excellent and introduced us to dishes we wouldn't have tasted otherwise. Very fun, not hard biking but great exercise. Do it!
We picked a great day for a bike excursion -- Sunday, when the whole city is out biking, running and walking and the main avenue, La Reforma is closed to cars. My husband and I received extra attention as we were the only two on this particular tour and they were training two new guides. All our guides were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and kept us safe throughout the day. They were also very accommodating and made some detours on the tour that we requested. We were each given a granola bar, apple, gatorade and water and Giovanni was our own personal photographer -- taking lots of pictures throughout the day. Lots of great conversations with the whole team as they shared the history of the area -- it was clear they all were proud and loved their City! It was a pretty easy bike ride as the terrain was quite flat through the areas we toured. I'd recommend this activity if you like to see and "do" at the same time.
Luis and Lucre did an amazing job, still when the city was totally congested by a manifestation. They protected us all the time. They get alternative routes and were always checking our safety. I will definitely get the tour again when I go back to Mexico. I recommend them 100%. Thank you guys!!!!!
Luis & Lucre were the perfect guides. They are incredibly kind and great people with a deep knowledge of Mexico City's history. My wife and I have done other bike tours in Europe and Asia, but this bike tour was my favorite. I never once felt unsafe, which is a testament to Luis and Lucre subtle positioning to make sure that they blocked oncoming cars from entering the groups path. The bike ride itself was a blast, but the best part was spending time with two great people whose genuine love for their city was expressed all along the tour. I'd highly recommend taking the historic center tour and I plan on doing another tour option from Luis and Lucre the next time I visit Mexico City.
Luis and Lucre's bike tours are a great way to see the city! We stopped at many places and they had a lot of information to offer at each one. They took us places we would have not gone by ourselves and added a lot to the experience by explaining history and culture along they way. Their first concern is their customer's safety-even though the streets of MC are a little wild I never felt unsafe. The Cultural Tour offers a view of the city you wouldn't normally get from a car or walking.
Pedalea Mexico is a small company run by a lovely, energetic couple who are fantastic guides through the city. They constantly ensured our safety and comfort. We stopped at several landmarks, monuments and other sites of interest where they explained the context and history. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who'd like to see Mexico City by bike!

Would highly recommend. Convenient starting location in Parque Mexico. Very good quality bikes which is important. Great way to get orientated if new to Mexico City. The guides are very knowledgeable and very safety conscientious. The Sunday tour is special in that the main avenue,The Reforma, is closed to vehicle traffic from 7am to 2pm which is great for cyclers and this tour.

Thank you very much, it was a great discovery of the city. It's the best way to discover the city and get your bearings as soon as you arrive in this amazing city. Very safe throughout the tour, I myself am a bike guide in Marseille, it is much more difficult while there is less traffic. Thank you again. Muchas gracias;)
I was assisted by cousins Gabriel, Gerson and Graciela. An excellent service since the product booking. Very happy with the attention.
This tour is not only for foreigners. We live in the CDMX and hiring this tour was one of the best ideas to rediscover our city. Luis and Lucrecia are fun, well prepared and willing to create an interesting and playful experience. We are dying to experience your other tours!
