Private Tour To Teotihuacán With Transportation

Wonderful experience from beginning to end. Good communication with our guide before the tour. We were driven in a spacious very clean and comfortable SUV. Our driver was very friendly, and our guide was outstanding. She was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. She has a degree in history and she did a wonderful job explaining things to us. She also shared information with us during the drive to and from the sites. She speaks English very well. We did not feel rushed and had adequate time to see everything at each stop. It was the perfect tour with the three stops at Plaza de la Tres Cultures, Basilica de Guadalupe and the Teotihuacan pyramids. Our main purpose was to see the pyramids, but the other sites were amazing and glad we did not miss seeing them while visiting Mexico City. We left at 8:00am and returned at 1:00pm. We opted not to stop for lunch but it was an option. It was the perfect tour for us. We could have spent more time if we had wanted, and could have taken the time to walk up the steps of the pyramids had we wanted. I highly recommend this tour. Everything about this tour was exemplary!

This experience was even better than we anticipated. We had a private car with driver and a tour guide. The car was quiet and our tour guide Ada was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. We were especially happy to have a private tour when we saw all of the tour bus crowds. It was an easy and memorable day. Highly recommended!

This was the highlight of our trip to Mexico City. The guide Bere allowed us to pick our itinerary and was so knowledgeable about it all. All three stops were worth it - Plaza de las Tres Culturas, Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe (even if not religious), and of course, the highlight, the Teotihuacán pyramids. The driver Pablo made the trip comfortable and had a nice newer car.

The private tour with transportation was so comfortable — the driver, Pablo, is excellent in navigating traffic and the tour guide, Malu, was incredibly knowledgeable overall at each of the sites we visited. Tres culturas was interesting, basilica de la virgen de Guadalupe, and Teotihuacan were breathtaking. Malu paced our tour really well and she was super thorough at each step of the way. She even held our bags so we could go climb the pyramid of the moon (which is high up and steep!) without anything weighing us down. The background knowledge she shared was fascinating and we appreciated all of it! We stopped at La Gruta for lunch and an authentic artisan shop to get obsidian souvenirs. The day trip starts early because it gets really hot as the day goes on so be sure to pack sunscreen and water — you can buy a hat there, which is what we did knowing it would be a souvenir. This tour is so wonderful and we really enjoyed everything about it! Having a local guide enriched our entire experience and we are so glad we did this.

We had a fantastic trip to Teotihuacan. Our driver Pablo was prompt, friendly, and a perfect gentleman. Our guide Luis Daniel was so knowledgeable and really brought the archeological site to life. The trip exceeded our expectations. We also added on the hot air balloon trip, which Berenice arranged, and it was a magical morning with amazing views over the pyramids, with dozens of other balloons filling the early morning sky. What a great experience. We were picked up from our hotel in an air conditioned vehicle for a private tour of both the basilica and the pyramids. We had great conversations and discussed the history of both landmarks. We were offered water and allowed to tour at our own pace. We were offered the ability to eat at the pyramids but decided to go back to CMX to eat lunch. Great transportation and a great tour. Highly recommend as you aren’t crammed into a van for the tour.

Bernice was our guide and right from the start, she was friendly and warm. One of my main reasons to visit Mexico City was to see the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Bernice took us with her driver to the Basilica. We walked to each church and she was very knowledgeable. She was also very patient with us as I wanted to take our time to experience each aspect of her tour. The second stop was the pyramids of Teotihuachan. She was very informative and answered the questions of my curious child. I learned a lot during the tour. After seeing both sites, they took us to a restaurant where we had lunch and it was delicious! I was very happy to have hired Bernice as our own tour guide. We could go at our own pace and ask whatever we wanted. We enjoyed Bernice’s tour very much!

Ari was great - she let us drive the pace, stops, lunch, etc. She did a great job making sure that our kids were engaged, and talked about visiting with her father when she was younger and what she remembered, which I found touching. She had much knowledge of the area and spoke “big picture” about Mexico and Catholicism, etc. when we were at the Basilica. She paced speaking with us and letting us enjoy just perfectly. We had the perfect day. This service was incredible. Pickup at our hotel first thing in the morning, a quick stop at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, then out to the Pyramids and back by 1pm. It was the perfect 1/2 day experience! The team was excellent with communication and very flexible with pick up, drop off, and the overall game plan. Learned so much over the course of the day. Cannot recommend this trip enough!

Excellent place to visit with such history and beauty. Our guide David from turistico Delmar was very informative, very polite and friendly. We really enjoyed the way he shared his knowledge and did not hurry us through anywhere. The private tour was a great idea and we had the whole van to ourselves. We did go to the third pyramid (apart from the sun and moon) and totally recommend it since that is the only one you can climb and it's spectacular once you do. Once we had made the reservation our guides were in touch with us and made us feel comfortable.

We got to see the whole site, not just the stuff that most tours see. It was 1.5 mile walk but well worth it. Beatrice was very thorough on the things we got to see and was patient with all of our questions. It was exactly what we wanted, a focus on the site and the ability to wander a bit when something looked interesting.

Our guide, Beatrice, was right on time. As they drove us out to Teotihuacan, she gave us the history of the site as well as interesting stories on things we were driving by. I loved that we chose an early pickup time because that meant we weren't overwhelmed with other tour groups and it wasn't too hot. She covered the whole site from the Temple of Quetzalcóatl all the way to the Moon Temple which was great (she gave us the choice of walking or riding in the van and we chose walking to see more of the various temples and houses to give us an indepth understanding of the site). Also explained about the paintings and the layers of the pyramids and how they were constructed. We stopped for lunch at a nice place and then drove back to the hotel. She was great. Just the right length, didn't feel rushed. It was just what we wanted. Highly recommend this tour and Beatrice.

I booked this tour for my boyfriend and me during a quick stay in Mexico City, and it did not disappoint! Berenice was an incredible guide and was super knowledgeable about everything. What a wonderful tour! Berenice was waiting for me in the hotel lobby and we were soon on our way to visit the amazing Basilica de Guadaloupe (not to be missed) and the fascinating Teotihuacan site. En route Berenice explained all the interesting landmarks and we even stopped at a "hidden" site in the city that I had never heard of (it has an incredible history that Berenice explained in full). Our driver Gabriel was excellent, and negotiated the traffic with patience and skill - he was there waiting at the end of each stop. Not a minute of this fabulous tour was wasted - it felt like being with very well informed and knowledgable friends rather than being "just a tourist". Needless to say, I would 100% recommend Delmar - and if I am lucky enough to return to Mexico City I would definitely book another exciting adventure with Delmar!

What an amazing site to visit for pre-Hispanic history and all around awe. Bere was the perfect guide and answered all our questions with excellent English. We started early to avoid crowds (good decision) with clean, safe transport (a small van) and very nice driver. The pyramids were a highlight but then we continued onto the Basilica of Guadalupe for a walk and Bere’s wonderful, respectful explanation of the Basilica complex. We had some delicious empanadas (pasties?) by the Basilica. The pace of the tour was just right for us, the information shared was professionally presented and we had a really wonderful day. Highly recommend.

This trip was amazing from start to finish. Easy and safe transport to the pyramids, a once and a lifetime balloon ride over the spectacular site, a delicious breakfast then tour and safe easy transport back. It was a dream!!!

The experience was amazing, everything excellent, a very good service. The van we were transported in had excellent cleanliness, drove very well, always drove us safely and very friendly the driver.
