Arturo is very pleasant and knowledgeable. This is a very detailed tour and may last more than 3 hours. We were looking for more of a highlight tour. But if you really enjoy history he knows his stuff.
We had a very good tour with Galy. She was very knowledgable about the area and provided much information. We appreciated how fast she went through everything in order to get us through as much of the area as she could in the short amount of time we had. The city is so large and has so much history that we wanted to see as much as we could. Walking tour was just perfect for what we wanted.
I recently took a personally guided walking tour of Mexico City, and my guide, Galilea, and I focused on Chapultepec. She was very knowledgeable, pointing out monuments in the park and providing historical facts along the way. It's a beautiful park! The pace was relaxed and enjoyable. She was very welcoming and pleasant to be around. My tour was scheduled for the early afternoon, and the line for entry to the castle was already long, so I decided not to wait. I would recommend taking an earlier tour if you want to see the castle.
A quick walk around the historic Center . Doing it on the first day helped us get an idea abt the surroundings etc . No complaints . Guide was decent helpful .
Gabriel arrived promptly at 9 am and we asked him for a tour of Mexico City highlights. Our group consisted of both adults and preteens. Gabriel’s English is fair and his explanations were many times lost in either his English or tendency to speak as he was walking away. It would have been helpful if he’d laid out an itinerary for the tour or showed a map to explain where we were and where we were going. He did not. It would have been helpful if he’d attempted to engage our kids with age appropriate information -he did not. Overall, a little disappointing given the reviews.
We had a super-nice guide named Victor who directed us to a lot of great places we would not have known (Ideal bakery, several restaurants) but his knowledge of history and dates was somewhat lacking.
Eric picked us up at the hotel on time and walked with us around the many famous streets in the local area. He gave us some great advice and recommendations for local restaurants and street food vendors. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the Aztecs and his English was very good in helping us understand the important facts and information connected with Mexico City. He even helped us order some food and beverages at a nice cafe and bakery along the way. Muy bueno!
Jocelyn was a very knowledgeable historian and great guide. A very complete tour. Don’t missed it! We recommend for everyone.
This tour was incredible because of Marisol, our guide and host. Our plans changed a bit and she didn’t miss a beat. She asked about our interests and preferences and customized a new itinerary on the spot. She took us through an architectural timeline of Mexico through the streets of Roma and Condesa. Both are beautiful neighborhoods to casually stroll through but Marisol made untrained eyes really see and appreciate the cultural Influences and evolution of CDMX through the lens of architecture and the local community. Her passion for history through architecture is contagious as is her love and knowledge for her home. Throughout the tour, she shared little known facts about the neighborhood, great places to eat and visit, and “unviable” gems to check out along the way. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Gracias, Marisol! Bonus: she stayed in touch throughout our stay to see how we were enjoying the city and continued to make great recommendations of places to see and experience. She set the bar for guides and I highly recommend her and the tour if you visit CDMX. You will not be disappointed!
after we spent an hour trying to determine why we were not picked up as promised in our ticket , we took a cab to meet guide who was very nice to wait for us to start. Thereafter, the tour was perfect and the guide was perfect
The guide was a very nice and genuine guy, learnt a lot about the city and Mexican history. 100% would recommend.
Matilde is an excellent guide, she has a lot of knowledge, she is very pleasant, and she also brings you quite close to the culture of our country, which is so rich in culture and traditions. I really highly recommend taking this Tour because you learn a lot about Mexico and above all you realize the cultural richness of our nation.
The Tour was very worth it. We visited the main points of the center of Mexico City and had historical explanations, interesting facts and several tips for the remaining days. The guide was very affectionate with us, attentive and very knowledgeable.
We took a tour of the center in a group of 8 people, of which 3 Brazilians and 5 Italians. Me and my husband were the only ones who spoke Spanish to do the translation, but the guide Axel was very attentive in keeping up with our pace and was very attentive to speaking slowly and well. In fact, our family was able to understand practically everything without translation. The guide knows a lot about the history and culture. We all loved it!
Spectacular tour, excellent Matilde! We tour the entire history center in two hours, a great guide in a great city!
The guide is very well informed, explicit in every detail! Kind, attentive, with a lot of patience for her group, in general, nothing bad to say.
Matilde is an excellent guide, very cultured and knowledgeable about her topics. It is worth taking the tour. The central part of the historic neighborhood of Mexico City is known
Very happy with the tour of Mexico City and our guide Axel. He has explained everything in a very clear, entertaining and structured way! I recommend it without a doubt!
Excellent tour with Matilde. He was very kind, especially with the children (we went with two), with great knowledge of history, and a pleasant way of speaking. We highly recommend it!!
Matilde is a fantastic guide. Learn a lot about the history and curious facts of the city. Thank you very much for all the information.
We really liked the tour!! Highly recommended. A very nice way to learn more about Mexico City.
The guide Axel did a very good job, he answered all the questions we asked him, excellent. I think the tour route could be improved and certain changes made.
The tour is great, our guide Axel told us many interesting facts and took us to see impressive places in the city center
Excellent Tour Matilde is the best, she explained to us in detail about the constructions and buildings of the historic center of CDMX
Axel was our guide for the 2 hours of our free tour. It was a concentration of art, culture, history and cuisine. We recommend choosing it for its friendliness and preparation
Excellent explanation from Matilde, very friendly, answered all our questions and gave us key tips on places and foods in Mexico!
