I booked a Mexico City walking tour on the day and was given confirmation of my booking. I went to the arrival destination 10 minutes before the agreed time of 2 PM. No one showed. I waited until 2:30 pm. I texted and called the help numbers. No one got back to me. I am a single female traveler, which is why I booked a tour rather than exploring the city myself. This was very disappointing customer service. What a waste of a day for me. I only had two days here and one has gone.

They cancelled the tour due to event in downtown and told me the reschedule a new one, I did and showed up for the tour. No one was there, thus all it did was cheat me out of money.
Eric was very knowledgeable and gave us the information clearly and effectively. We were given time to explore the buildings on our own for a bit
My husband and I had the pleasure of sitting on Erick Rios' tour this past weekend and we had an absolute blast on this private tour. He was super knowledgeable, gave us best practices and tips on the city, and how to stay safe while we're here. He went above and beyond with our tour, and I am excited to book another one soon!
This was a great tour! Our guide was Erick and he did an exceptional job. He had great knowledge on all our stops and was very enthusiastic and engaging with the whole family. From the Bellas Artes to the Zócalo. He gave a great and informative tour. Muchas gracias Erick. Mi familia te agradece mucho.
Eric was very personable, knowledgable and well versed on past and current history It was an enjoyable and enlightening tour I highly recommend Eric and the private tour
The guide did not show up. We arrived early and then waited an additional 20 minutes past the start time hoping they were just running late. They were not and never arrived. We received no personal communication from the company with an explanation or apology about this - we eventually received a generic email from Viator noting we were being given a refund. Really poor customer service.
We never got the tour. The tour guide cancelled our 10am and proposed a new time,12pm, we could not attend due to prior commitments.
Erik is very knowledgeable and friendly. He seemed genuinely pleased to show us around. Really nice guy
We did a personal tour of the central historic district with Eric the day after we arrived in Mexico City. We knew that many iconic attractions are closed on Mondays and this Monday was also a national holiday, but Eric gave us a good overview of Mexican history and culture and filtered what attractions we should prioritize while visiting. This was exactly what we were looking for in a 2 hour initial tour. He also gave us some tips on places to eat including how to experience The Tile House's restaurant various dining options and how to navigate Pasteleria Ideal, where the locals go. Eric was very accommodating with rest stops and a helped with a trip to the currency exchange. You would do well to take this intro tour.
Confusing instructions to meet our guide first they said orange umbrella and then day of said orange folder… well we never found our guide. Bummer. Refund was not approved…
Our tour guide, Eric, could not have been any better. Knowledgeable, friendly, passionate, and proud of his country. A real professional. We saw and learned a lot, but it was Eric that made the expedience one to remember.
Eric was very knowledgeable and showed us the most important buildings in the historic center. He was friendly and answered all of our questions thoroughly.
Terrible the guide never showed up and now I have to wait for a refund until they get in contact with the guide that never showed up.
We had a great experience with Erick. What a treat. He was so knowledgeable and answered all our questions (+ our kids questions). Really fantastic experience, thank you!
Erick is a very knowledgable and friendly guide. We enjoyed our tour and learned a lot about the city from him. Highly reccomend.
Great experience and well worth it! Erick was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable that made our party appreciate the history CDMX has to offer. Erick was very professional and answered our many questions. Recommend to anyone visiting for the first time!
Our guide Erick was excellent. He gave us a brief history of Mexico that set the stage perfectly for our tour. Definitely ask for him! Nancy, Missy, Lynne from Washington DC.
We did a tour with Erick today and it was amazing. He’s so knowledgeable and patient, and you can tell he genuinely loves sharing the history and culture of Mexico City. We enjoyed every minute and felt like we were exploring the city with a friend, not just a guide.
We’re a family of four (with kids aged 4 and 12) visiting Mexico City for the first time, and this tour was one of our highlights. Erick was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging throughout. We also appreciated that the tour was reasonably priced for kids, and the two-hour length was just right for our little one.
Our tour with Erick was excellent - we learned about Mexican history, society, religion and culture and got an inside glimpse into many stories and buildings. His way of sharing information was engaging, entertaining, and lively. I would highly recommend a tour with Erick - it brought the historical centre to life!
We absolutely loved the tour with our guide, Eric. He had a really strong storytelling ability that made the tour not just informative but entertaining too, weaving together different parts of the city center to give us a holistic view of the history of Mexico. We felt this tour was the perfect length of time because we got so much interesting history without feeling overwhelmed/exhausted by the end. And, he seemed like a genuinely great guy, answering all our questions. One of my favorite experiences I’ve booked.
Very nice and informative tour. Learned a lot about the history, nice facts an places. Only was supposed to take to hours amd we finished half hour earlier but guess I was also fast with siteseeing. Al was very good and I would recomend it for sure
Awesome tour!! Erick was so passionate and informative. I would highly recommend him to anyone visiting. He gave me a México city history lesson.
Eric is fun and knowledgeable. The two hours flew back and we learned a lot about the city’s historic center.
Eric was fabulous. He was engaging, informative, and fun. I had an incredible time touring with him!
Tour was wonderful and Erick has great knowledge to share about Mexico and Mexico City. It was a nice pace and we learned about all the beautiful sites in centro histórico. Was one of the highlights of our trip. Also meant a lot to us to have an independent and local guide vs a bigger tour company: supporting Erick makes a difference for the community. Thank you Erick!
Eric was a great guide and we learned a ton about CDMX. We saw Bella Artes, the post office, main square, the church of San Francisco, and much more along the way. Eric was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend it! It was particularly helpful to have the tour at the start of our trip so that we had context for the rest of the trip.
Eric was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and thoughtful. As the tour flowed from site to site, Eric pointed out places of note. Great tour!
Mexico City is a sprawling city so 1.5 hours does not give it justice. Eric was a good tour guide, experienced and knowledgeable about his city. Visits made to the Palace of Arts, post office, Zocalo and San Francisco church. We also did a detour to the Grand Hotel where Spectre was filmed. Overall an enjoyable tour and recommended.
Our tour guide, Eric, was incredible; Truly one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had! He was so knowledgeable, informative, and a rich historical storyteller. He took us to many historical spots and eateries around town while recounting Mexico’s history and how we see it now. He is very personable and open to all questions. Couldn’t recommend him enough.
Great tour — Erik was a great guide and we enjoyed the history and incredible landmarks of the city.
My friend and I were so excited to experience this walking tour and it did not disappoint! Our guide, Matilde, was extremely knowledgeable. She had great energy and made the tour super fun and educational. We visited the palaces and cathedrals; we even stoped off at an amazing bakery for sweet treats! It was a great way to spend our first day in Mexico City!
Erik was an amazing tour guide and this was our favorite tour! He was super informative and also kind. We were able to ask him any questions about life in Mexico which was the best part. Highly recommend!
Erick was a wonderful, energetic guide. The tour was very thorough, and interesting. Our group was diverse with different levels of knowledge, but we all learned a lot and stayed engaged. Highly recommend!
Super great experience! Erick was fabuloso, spoke wonderful English, had an incredible breadth of historical knowledge and is an overall fantastic tour guide.
This private tour with Erick was such a fantastic activity, which packed in so much amazing knowledge and wonderful places, into a relatively short time. Something we simply would not have been able to do alone. Erick was so passionate and knowledgable, answered questions and delivered the history of Mexico City perfectly.
An excellent overview in English of the key points of the center with a focus on history and cultural points with plenty of time to take pictures at cool places without being rushed. Our guide Erick was very knowledgeable and personable and quick to answer questions and offer tips on different options to eat or shop in addition to the history. We definitely recommend and had a fantastic experience and discovered many things we would have otherwise missed.
It is a balanced blend between culture and fun. You see and discover the beauty of the architecture along with the sweetness of mMexican pastries and delicious food.
My tour guide, Erick Rios, was very knowledgeable and flexible with his time. We were very late due to traffic and he accommodated us with another tour. I learned a lot about some of the Mexican history.
First time visiting Cuidad de Mexico and so glad we did a tour like this. The 2 hours spent walking around flew by. We were able to truly admire the rich history of the centro histórico. Matilde was our personal guide and she knew everything there is to know about the city. She even gave us recommendations for after the tour. So thankful to her muchas gracias Matilde.
Eric was an amazing guide. He gave us a 2 hour tour in English across several sites in Zocalo. He knows his history very well, he’s a great public speaker, and kept us all engaged. We were a party of seven with four adults and three young adult adults. Highly recommend.
It was incredible. The Guide Tour was very friendly and it was really interesting listening to him about mexican history.
Erick was a great guide for our family, leading us through popular tourist sites with our 12- and 8-year-old. He was friendly, accommodating, and shared fascinating background and history, making the experience both fun and educational. Highly recommend!
I was initially worried that there wouldn’t be enough time at each location but this tour was perfectly paced. Erick was an awesome tour guide!! He’s very knowledgeable and was an absolute pleasure! We’re really glad we were able to see so much and learn so much about beautiful CDMX!!! We’re trying to get more family members to do the tour before we leave!
Erick was a delightful guide and not only knowledgeable but enthusiastic about our tour. He really wanted to make sure we were enjoying our tour and keen to answer questions. We thought his English was great. Highly recommend!
Missed it. Traffic was so bad I couldn’t get through traffic stopped for local reasons. Plan for that possibility
This is a good way to start any visit to the historical centre of Mexico City. Although it doesn’t give you tickets to go into the palaces, historical buildings, etc., it gives you a 2 hour overview of what you might want to come back to and explore more. Erick was an excellent tour guide. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable about his city. We would recommend.
This tour was a delight. Erick was knowledgeable and easy to engage with. I appreciated how he shared about his city and also the historical significance around the various places we visited. The tour is relaxed, and the pace was just what we were looking for. This being my fourth visit to Mexico City, I still greatly appreciated all that I learned and that Erick had to offer. I highly recommend this tour!
This was a great, quick tour of the history and culture of the Centro area. We learned a lot about the intersection of history, art and culture in Mexico City. Our guide Erick was so friendly and welcoming, and seemed genuinely excited to share Mexico and it's culture with us. If you do want to go into more of the buildings I'd recommend a longer tour, with just 2 hours there were some that we only had time to look into from outside.
