Francisco was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. This was a great tour to start our vacation in Mexico City. We learned about history, architecture, religion, politics, and the indigenous culture. I highly recommend this tour for a better understanding of this remarkable city.

The two hour private tour was wonderful! Galy was our tour guide and she made sure we saw everything in the city. She has much knowledge of Mexico City’s history and she was able to quickly answer all of my questions. She took her time sharing all of the information and she allowed us time to explore and take pictures.

Joss was an absolute rockstar, we enjoyed every bit of our tour, she was knowledgable and so passionate. The tour was mix of history and culture. Joss also took some great pictures ❤️

I made a very last minute reservation for a private guided tour and expected to be told it was too late! But, everything worked out,including having Ismael come to our not convenient hotel to pick us up. We were able to visit and see a great deal of Mexico City’s historic buildings in a very short time. Ismael made the itinerary flexible to our wishes and he gave USA running dialogue of the background and details of all that we saw. I recommend this tour and thank Ishmael for his charming guiding.

We had a very nice walking tour with Ismael. He shared a lot of interesting information at all the sites we stopped to see. Unfortunately, I wasn’t feeling well the morning of the tour so we had to cut is short but Ismael made sure we got back to our hotel safe.

Cuauhtémoc was awesome! Very knowledgeable and brought us to places in the center area that we never would have known about - museums, churches, historical sites. As a world history teacher, I really appreciated his knowledge. I highly recommend if you want to experience the extremely busy downtown area/city center with an experienced professional.

We did the walking tour of CDMX historic center with Cuauhtémoc. He was very nice and attentive to our questions/needs. He provided recommendations for good restaurants and even took us to Bellas Artes will-call center to pick up tickets. He is knowledgeable and we found the tour was very informational.

Our guide Joseline was excellent! We would definitely book again. Enthusiastic and extremely insightful. She was patient with our questions as well.

The guide did not show up. Ruined our day. After making numerous attempts got hold of the tour operator who had no clue where the guide was. Told me to wait half hour and then later cancelled the tour. Messed your whole day. Not good. Viator must remove them. I do understand that issues can occur but this tour operator did not bother to give us a 24 hour heads up or make alternate attachments for the same date and time.

We purchased an English language private tour of the historical sites near the Zocalo. Instead, our guide simply did not have a mastery of English. She had practiced sets of English words, but they generally did not make much sense when strung together. She did not understand questions that were asked of her and the tour was pretty much worthless. She was nice, but that did not help us much.

The operator didn’t show up and the refund process takes a very long time. The worst private tour on this app, do not choose this package

We were told 10 minutes before the start of the tour that the guide couldn’t make it, and that the tour had to be cancelled. Did get a refund, but it adversely impacted our plans.

Eric was a wonderful guide. He gave us a great tool of the city with history and hot spots. Spoke English very well and was very knowledgeable.

Erick is a terrific guide, and we'd highly recommend this tour to those wanting a good overview of the historic center. This was our first tour as we were getting oriented in Mexico City. Erick showed us many of the key buildings and places in Zocalo. His stories animated each stop along the way. Erick welcomed all of our questions, and his warm personality made the day memorable. Our tour guide did not even show up when I booked a private tour for 2 at 11:00 am. I received a message at 8:30 am saying he can’t show up with no reason given.

We were very pleased with this tour. Ivan was on time, spoke great English, and provided us with a lot of interesting information. He conducted the tour starting at the end of the ruins so there were fewer people, which was helpful. We would recommend this tour whole heartedly.

Guide never showed up. We called but the phone was disconnected. Called Viator who also called the company and found the same - phone disconnected. Viator sent an email to the company and said we may receive a refund pending their investigation. That is the last we heard, before receiving this request for a review.

Do not book this tour. The guide was a no-show and the company has refused to refund us. They did not respond to phone calls or WhatsApp messages while we were waiting and looking for the guide, or afterwards. It is a scam.

The tour guide did not show up. Only after we asked, the operator told us that the tour was cancelled because of health issues. We were not contacted beforehand. Although I can understand a cancellation because of health issues (if it is true) it was really annoying: We lost a lot of time waiting and then replanning the whole day. The tour got refunded four days later.

Our tour guide, Erick, was awesome. The information he provided was very interesting. He took time to answer our questions and gave us tips to make the most out of our visit of Mexico City.

There was no confirmation sent out regarding the tour whatsoever. On the day of our tour (2 hrs before our tour), our tour guide canceled the tour due to his health condition. I understand that unexpected situations occur. The problem I have is that there was no confirmation regarding our tour sent out and the tour operator was not very responsive. Very unprofessional. Please be aware that communication with the tour operator is almost impossible. I hope that you don't have to go through this.

Erick was a superb tour guide. It was very easy to communicate with him prior to meeting, and he was very well prepared with an interesting and engaging itinerary. He was very personable and enthusiastic, and gave plenty of time and opportunity to ask questions. He is very knowledgeable about México City, and really puts in great effort to show you the city and ensure you enjoy your time. I would highly recommend his tour early in your visit - you’ll learn some great history as well as useful tips that will help for the rest of your visit.

This tour was super private and personalized. We got lucky with our guide - Erick Rios- he was fantastic !! He really cares about giving you the best experience and he was amazing. Because of covid the anthropology museum and the Castillo de Chapultepec closed during our trip. So, I booked this tour for seventy dollars to walk in downtown. Our guide was super sweet and accommodating but a student about to graduate. He did pick us up and we did walk in downtown with some cultural and gastronomic highlights. We came across other tours where the guides were way more engaging and provided more information. The feel I got from this tour is that they overprice it and then pay the guides milk money for their work. Hence the “practically free” part. This was worth about 35 dollars for both of us. Not 70. We did tip him at the end because we are respectful of peoples times and work. I just wish we would get the same respect back. When I contacted customer service they said that “unfortunately the tour was provided as advertised” which is a lie. They offered me a 25 dollar discount for my next booking… Be very meticulous when booking because it is shady out there and customer service is mediocre at best.

Erik is a wonderful guide! We learned so much about Mexico City and are tremendously grateful. It is a great tour to do your first day in Mexico City to help you get your bearings to be able to navigate on your own. We went back to several places Erik recommended.
