We had a great experience with Ninelth as our guide! She was very friendly, kind, and knowledgeable about Mexico City and its history and culture. She taught us about much more than tacos! We did this tour on our first night in town and it was a great way to get acquainted with the city. Would definitely recommend for someone looking for an authentic and unpretentious taco experience in CDMX!

Wonderful insights into the history and techniques of making tacos al pastor, mezcal, and other local specialties.
The perfect place! I really liked the mezcal, an originally Mexican flavor, and the tacos. I have no words to describe how delicious they are. I couldn't stop eating them, especially the pastor ones! My family accompanied me and it was the best decision, I want to return and I highly recommend it! I give it 100/10
My boyfriend and I had the best time on this food tour in Polanco, and I absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The tour lasted about 3-4 hours, and we got to try a variety of incredible Tacos and Mezcal! We started with tacos de suadero, which were absolutely delicious! The meat was so tender, and the red salsa was spectacular—spicy, but not overpowering. Next, we tried tacos al pastor, and our guide explained that this recipe has roots in Middle Eastern cuisine, specifically the Arab-style tacos made with lamb, but here they use pork and, of course, serve it with tortillas instead of pita bread. These tacos were so flavorful and well-seasoned! But my absolute favorite had to be the cochinita pibil tacos. The rich, savory pork had an incredible balance of flavors slow-cooked and marinated in citrus. The meat was so juicy and tender, with a slight tanginess that made every bite melt in your mouth. It was honestly one of the best tacos I’ve ever had! My boyfriend’s favorite part of the tour was the mezcal drinks. We tried a mezcal espadín, which had such a smooth and smoky flavor, and a mezcal cocktail that was absolutely delicious, refreshing and the perfect way to cool off between taco stops. To top it all off, we finished the tour with churros, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and covered in sugar. The perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable culinary adventure! If you’re in Polanco and love great food, this tour is a 100% must-do experience!
Literally, THE-BEST mexican experience EVER! This was my first time trying mezcal and tacos, and everything was amazing. Had the best time at every place we went, my boyfriend and I will definitely try Haute Gastronomy Tours again, WE LOVED IT!
I loved this experience. It's a really good way to get to know more about the mexican culture around Tacos and Mezcal. I went there with my boyfriend and we were amazed on how tasty was everything. I recommend you to go with an empty stomach because you don't want to miss the opportunity to try any of the tacos they present to you. The mezcal was really nice, and the best way to finish the tour after all the eating. Also, a shoutout to our guide who made us feel really comfortable with asking questions and made the conversation really interesting and enjoyable. Definitely an incredible experience to get to know CDMX culture in a fun way!
I really recommend this tour because they literally drive you through all the best places to eat the best tacos in the city, and they even tell you the history behind each food or drink. It is amazing to visit all these places and to learn more about the Mexican culture. Also, on this tour you can eat all the tacos you want! It is a dream. Last but not least, you end the tour eating the best churros I ever tasted. Believe in my recommendation and prove it yourself!
I love this tour! It was almost a 4-hour taco tour and a Mexican food experience in Polanco, I went with my friends, and it was incredible. Not only are the tacos delicious, but the tour was with unlimited tacos, I never stopped eating! We're also getting to taste mezcal and learn how it's made, adding a cultural twist to the experience. The price and quality are excellent, making this tour an absolute must. If you want a fun and unique way to explore Mexican cuisine, this is the way to go. It is highly recommended!

I loved this experience!!
Visit Mexico City and discover a new gastronomic adventure in the Polanco area! A super adventure

"I had an amazing time on this food tour in Polanco! I chose the mezcal tasting and got to try six different types, plus a delicious mezcal cocktail. The guide was super friendly and explained everything really well. The taco part was awesome too! We went to two spots and tried different tacos, like tacos al pastor and Yucatan pork tacos. Everything was all-you-can-eat, so I got to enjoy as many as I wanted. Walking through Polanco was great, and the neighborhood is really beautiful. This tour is perfect if you love good food and want to experience Mexican culture. I totally recommend it!"
If you visit Mexico City, this gastronomic tour of Polanco is an experience you can't miss. We start the tour by trying spectacular tacos in several iconic stalls. The first stop was a taqueria that offered tacos al pastor, where the quality of the meat and the flavor were exceptional. Afterwards, we enjoy more tacos in different styles, such as the traditional cochinita pibil. Each stop was accompanied by interesting stories about Mexican history and culture, which made the tour even more special. The experience continued with a mezcal tasting. I chose to try several exotic options, each with a unique profile, and to top it off, they served us a delicious mezcal cocktail. Polanco is one of the most vibrant and charming areas of the city, and walking through its quiet streets made the experience even more pleasant. Finishing the tour with churros was the perfect sweet touch to close the day. This tour is not only a gastronomic delight, but a deep immersion in Mexican culture. I highly recommend this experience, whether you are visiting or want to take a foreign friend to know the authentic flavors of Mexico. I can't wait to repeat it!

Polanco is beautiful and we enjoyed all the tacos places we visited. Also, we LOVED the Mezcal tasting. Couldn’t have picked a better tour, definitely recommend.
I loved this tour because it shows the gastronomic variety of tacos that there are in Mexico, tacos of rey de suadero, those of the califa the pastor, cochinita pibil of turix in the Polanco neighborhood as well as a delicious dessert. The guide told us all the details and history of each bite we were tasting as well as the mezcal tasting, without a doubt the best story was that of corn, I love the mystique of the legends in Mexico. Best of all, it's an all-inclusive tour and you can eat and drink as much as you want. This experience is guided by locals who are experts on the topic.

I really loved this experience, for me was an exceptional way to know more about Mexico and its culture, I was impressed with corn´s history. But really, the thing that I more enjoyed were the tacos, I think that they are de most beautiful way to learn about Mexico. If you live or not in this magical country, you should go to this tour, the flavors, the food and drinks totally worth the price. Also, you can choose your dinrk, in my personal opinión the mezcal was the best option, I had never tasted this flavors and If you preffer a different drink, you can choose mexican wine, also is a good option. And thank you for the guide, was an excellent person that took care of us for all entire time in the tour.

I heard that Mexico City had the best tacos in the country, so I wanted to check it out for myself. The experience was incredible, everything is clear from the start and they have great service. The secret spots they include were really fabulous, and the guide's knowledge of everything he explains and the places he takes us to shows his professionalism. We ended with a bang at a place with amazing typical Mexican desserts, no spoilers but I recommend you order the cajeta topping. And I confirm, if you want to try the best tacos, do it with an expert and in Mexico City.
This tour is amazing, you have the combination of the variety of food, drink, history, all in one. The tour guides are very friendly and they explain to you even the creation of the drinks you are drinking. The food is the most delicious thing you can try. Hours go by and we didn't want to finish. I would like to highlight that it is a very friendly and cultural tour. The history of corn is something we didn't know about. It was fantastic. It is worth it and definitely, my family and I will return. Thank you very much!! We left very happy and full.
This tour is so amazing!!! I love tacos and the alcohol is a bonus. Everything looks delicious! The pastor tacos are the best of the tour without a doubt. If you don't drink regularly, you may get drunk. The mezcal is very strong especially, the tequila is very tasty. Everything is very interesting. Without a doubt the tacos and the tequila and mezcal tasting are very representative of Mexico, I love being Mexican.
During our recent family trip to Mexico City, we decided to explore the vibrant Polanco neighborhood and stumbled upon a gem: Tacos Unlimited. This isn't just a taco joint—it's an entire culinary experience that promises a delightful fusion of traditional Mexican flavors with an upscale twist. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a lively atmosphere. The decor was modern yet cozy, with hints of Mexican culture subtly woven into the design. It was the perfect setting for a relaxed family dinner. The menu offered an extensive selection of tacos, each one more tempting than the last. What really set Tacos Unlimited apart was their Mezcal or Wine Experience. Being a family of food enthusiasts, we couldn't resist trying both. Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable and guided us through the different options, explaining the unique qualities of each mezcal and wine pairing. We started with the classic Al Pastor tacos, which were absolutely divine. The meat was tender and flavorful, marinated to perfection and complemented by fresh pineapple and cilantro. Next, we tried the Baja Fish Tacos—crispy, light, and bursting with flavors that transported us straight to the coast. Each taco was paired with a carefully selected mezcal or wine, enhancing the overall experience.
The service is amazing, the food and the wine are delicious and from the best quality, I will definitely return again. I would also like to highlight that they told us the story of corn that my foreign companions loved. In resume, this tour has everything you want: gastronomy, culture, fun and you can go with your partner, friends or family. Highly recommended, you will have fun while trying the best tacos.
This has been an incredible experience as a couple, we got out of the monotony and we learned a lot, the explanations were totally clear, but the experience was the best, it was very fun and natural and we also learned a lot Not to mention that everything was delicious, the truth is that it greatly exceeded our expectations, without a doubt we would do it again
I loved learning about the variety of tacos, our guide was always very friendly and explained each part of the tour to us. We learned the history of corn, it is something we did not know . Me and my boyfriend loved mezcal. Without a doubt, it is an experience that I recommend 100%. You will not regret it
This is the kind of experience that you have to do at least once in your life. Getting to know more about Mexican culture was incredible; the culture and food was spectacular. My partner and I would have probably not know what to do if this was all by ourselves, we wouldn’t know where to go. If you are trying to save time and learn about Mexican food (while having the best Mexico City experience), you definitely have to do this tour. We loved it!
We had an incredible experience, I highly recommend it, my husband and I had a great day trying Mexican food, we loved it.
The experience is amazing; they explain everything perfectly and make it very enjoyable. Additionally, it's great for visitors to get to know the national culture in a more local way. The mezcal tasting was my favorite part as the product is of excellent quality and, of course, very delicious. As a taco enthusiast, I can tell you that the ones we had during this experience were some of the best I’ve ever eaten in this beautiful city. As a bonus, they give a cultural talk about the history of corn and its importance in Mexican nutrition and culture. I also want to highlight that the guides are extremely friendly and attentive to comments and questions at all times. So, if you’re looking for a 100% cultural gastronomic experience, I highly recommend this one when you visit CDMX.
Everything was delicious! A unique experience, I was able to learn more about Mexican gastronomy. I showed my friends pictures of the food and now they all want to go! haha

Everything was amazing, we love the food, the view, the attention of everyone in that place, it’s amazing everything we love it, if u can u need to go
If you want to know a little more about Mexico and your favorite food, this experience is a great option in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Mexico City. We started at a taqueria that is very famous for its suadero tacos, we continued with the taqueria ''El Califa'' where we tried the famous al pastor tacos with their pineapple. We continue the tour with a tasting of mezcal which is a traditional Mexican drink made from the distillation of the heart of the maguey, what we try is the mezcal ''Against the ropes'' first alone and then with a passion fruit cocktail, we continue in the taqueria ''El Turix'' where their specialty is cochinita pibil and as a good Mexican, dessert should not be missing, we finished the tour with some delicious sweet churros. The truth is that the experience is very complete and we love getting to know a little bit about this beautiful country.
I went with my partner to Mexico City and we decided to take this food tour since we love trying new things and wanted to find an expert to guide us! It was definitely the best decision because our guide was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and took us through the entire tour explaining all the processes involved in cooking both pastor and cochinita pibil. The tacos we tried were the most delicious we've ever had in our lives, and we've tried quite a few haha. We also loved tasting mezcal and tequila; they have a strong but interesting flavor, and finishing with churros for dessert left us very satisfied. It's the ultimate tour if you want to try Mexican food, a very comprehensive experience where you can learn about the history of corn, preparation methods, their drinks, and even desserts. Plus, it's a lot of fun and you'll have a great time!
It was an amazing experience getting to know and try food and wine that represents and describes the mexican culture. The tour guide was very nice with us and she explained to us many interesting facts such as why pastor meat is called like that and how they make mescal. Going to different places in polanco and trying different types of tacos and wine was an experience I really dived in and enjoyed so much. Everything was delicious and so tasty! We also enjoyed the tour very much not only because of the delicious food they took us to try, but also getting to know the city and the different parts and neighborhoods of Mexico City, the capital of an amazing country. It was an amazing taco extravaganza! We also tried amazing churros and got to know a place that has been there for many years, so it was an amazing way to end the night and the tour. I recomend this tour, more than anything! We had the best time and got to try the best food!
Knowing about mexico’s gastronomic culture and drinks si incredible. I love the history of Mexico and knowing about the gastronomy of the states seems to me a way to get closer to my culture and i love the mezcal
From so much that they told me and boasted about this place, I decided to go, travel from Guadalajara to Polanco Mex, just to try this delight, I really recommend it highly, apart from the fact that everyone is very respectful, the food is top-notch, I simply like it. Charming, I would wonder if I would come back? Of course yes, a thousand and a million times yes.
We’ve been on so many great food tours around the world and we were beyond excited to finally experience a tour in Mexico City with our all time favourite food! The tour did not disappoint. We had an amazing time eating some of the best tacos we’ve ever had. We got to go to some places we never would have found on our own. Along the way we learned a lot and had some great conversations. We also really enjoyed the mezcal tastings. We were both totally inexperienced when it comes to mezcal and it was great to learn about how it’s made and taste it on its own but also in some fabulous cocktails. Ninelth was our tour guide. She was informative, warm and friendly and we felt like we’d made a new friend by the end of the tour. This is a MUST DO when you’re in Mexico City!
It was our first time in Mexico for my husband and I have to say it was an absolute delight to get to know a little part of it. We loved our tour guide who spoke not only English, but very well French. We went to 4 locations, each one better than the last one. We enjoyed author dishes made with local ingredients and we also got to try some nice drinks, I even bought a bottle of some kind of spirit, something like mezcal, called sotol. As an add on you get a cooking class, which was lots of fun. We made Conchas, which are a sort of sweet fluffy bread. My husband and I had a blast. We do highly recommend this tour.
Excellent! Everything was delicious, we liked very much the experience of preparing mexican food, Alejandro is an amazing chef and guide.
It was really a great time!! We enjoyed every minute while we were learning new things! 100% recommended!
I had an outstanding experience with delicious food during the tour, and a significant part of the credit goes to Candy, our exceptional guide. Her profound knowledge of Mexican culture added a fascinating layer to the entire experience, making it not only enjoyable but also educational. Candy's expertise truly enhanced the tour, and I highly recommend her for anyone seeking an insightful and delightful exploration of Mexican cuisine and culture.
The tour starts at a Top-rated taco stand, where the variety is amazing: from classic tacos de suadero to innovative options that surprise the palate. Each taco is a masterpiece, prepared with fresh and authentic ingredients. And, of course, the mezcal. We were joined by passionate guides who shared the story behind every sip. Learning about the different varieties and production methods of mezcal made each drink even more special. The atmosphere in Polanco, with its mix of modernity and tradition, perfectly complements the tour. Also, meeting other foodies was a great plus. This Tourt really is something that I recommend and that you should not miss!
It was amazing how new we knew about Mexican culture! Every taste and experience. I do recommend the trip
