We arrived at 8:30 am at the meeting point for 8:50 tour starting time. never saw anyone with "PASEOS OLMEDO" sign. Contacted another tour guide at the museum at 9:20 am. Luckily, he was able to go around and finally find our guide. The guide never had a sign with him or know that he was suppose to carry a sign. He said, he called me, but I did not have any missed calls. He was very knowledgeable but, hard to understand.

Overall I excellent tour. Over view of the museum and castle. Ivan very knowledgeable. Maybe a few too many details didn’t need. Would never remember the various names.
Our guide Ivan was very knowledgeable and he was great. Do know you don’t see the whole museums and you spend a lot of time standing in one place listening to all the facts. If you’re into history and don’t care for this book it. Unfortunately for me I’m to anxious to be at one place for more than 20 mins. Ivan was great though!!
Do not book! This tour is highly dependent on your tour guide and Rahul was horrible. He didn’t provide a VIP experience at all. He could not answer basic questions. He merely read from the museum signage. He also cut the tour short and did not show us or glanced over some of the most important archeological artifacts.
Wow, Rodolfo was an amazing tour guide and made this an incredible experience. He was knowledgeable about pre classic, classic, and post classic history. We learned a lot during the tour. The museum was the highlight for sure, the Chapultepec castle is a one time visit but after learning so much about the Olmecs and Mexicas, seeing Versailles influenced design in the castle just didn’t compare. If you’re ok with a long day, do both!
Totally worth the price! The guide gave a really comprehensive and engaging tour with so many detailed we couldn’t haven’t learned ourselves.
We loved our tour today Our guide was so knowledgeable and helped explain the complexities between the tribes of this region
Rodolfo was an excellent guide - he was very conscious about debunking a bunch of myths about mesoamerican history. Highly recommended
We had an amazing tour with Raùl which completely surpassed our expectations. We learnt so much in the short time we had and much more than other guides have been able to give us. I honestly could have listened to Raùl all day! His passion for history was evident and completely infectious! The museum is quite hard to make sense of on its own so this tour was invaluable! Don't consider, just book it!
Raul cancelled on us at the last minute. Highly unprofessional. I would not recommend as he left us with no options but to view the museum on our own.
Rodolpho, our tour guide, was very insightful, passionate, intellectual and placed excellent context to the pre-classical and post classical periods of mesoamerica arc of history! This is a tour you must take to provide an authentic and accurate worldview of pre hispanic periods that evolved in Mexico! Do not miss this opportunity when in CDMX!
Ivan did an excellent job sharing stories and connections that couldn’t be found except through his passion for the work. There was a thread of continuity as he brought up not just how the history unfolded but how the museum had chosen to display what and where, which added another layer of intrigue.
Incredible experience with Raul! So informative, kind, and knowledgeable. Unbelievable tour through the museum and the castle. A must-do if you are visiting CDMX. Raul is the best!
Fantastic day visiting the Anthropology Museum and Chapultepec Castle. Raul was excellent — knowledgeable, passionate, and kept everything engaging. He connected the stories between the artifacts and the castle’s history perfectly. Highly recommend this tour and Raul as your guide.
Raul gave an excellent tour. He was very knowledgeable and very willing to answer questions. He is an excellent guide and I would request his services again.
Great experience and perfect guidance! It's a must in Mexico City, i would do it again, valuable and beautiful experience
I had an amazing experience on this tour! Our guide Diana was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole day enjoyable. They shared so many interesting facts and stories that brought the place to life, while also making sure everyone in the group felt comfortable and engaged. The pace of the tour was perfect, and I appreciated the little details and personal touches along the way. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone—having such a passionate and professional guide made all the difference!
We went on our visit to CDMX and had Lati as our guide. She was absolutely fantastic and provided so much great context and history to all the exhibits we saw. It significantly enriched our experience, especially as I don’t speak Spanish! Would definitely recommend
She is incredibly knowledgeable and kind! I would recommend her to anyone with a genuine interest in history. The tour also had a great pace
Diana was exceptionally knowledgeable and a great tour guide. Highly recommended tour of the archaeologic museum, and the castle of Chapultepec.
Diana was a great guide. Full of knowledge and made the tour so interesting for us. Highly recommend this tour.
Diana was excellent!! She expertly took us through prehispanic Mexico and broke down all the incredible symbolism in a manner that was easy to follow. She was able to address all of our questions not only with knowledge but with her passion for the cultures as well.
Diana, was great guide!!! She is very accommodating! We were late due to weather and closed streets and she waited for us. She was in constant contact with us since it was out of our hands and others were also late!
The Anthropological Museum was a wonderful experience for me as a structure and as a place for these many impressive craftsmanship works. Rodolfo, our guide, has managed to create a railing through three exhibition rooms and thus familiarize us with the history of the inhabitants of the Gulf Coast. It was a gift for me, otherwise I would have been completely overwhelmed! Everything happened in a relaxed, empathetic atmosphere and we were always involved by interesting questions. Thank you and warmest recommendation!
It has been a wonderful experience to connect with the history and origins of pre-Hispanic culture. And that feeling is due to the wonderful story of Leticia, my guide on this tour, who not only explains the tour but gives it a deep sense of identity that makes the tour something vibrant and exciting. Thank you very much Leticia for your great company! A hug
It was a complete and beautiful experience. Thankful to Leticia my guide, who not only conveyed a beautiful story but gave much meaning to the explanations which made me feel much more of the pre-Hispanic and classical identity and culture. Thank you very much Leticia
I loved the way he explained everything, left us some time to rest and ordered us all coffees and water.... the best tour I've ever had.
Impossible to pass through Mexico without visiting the Museum of Anthropology and Chapultepec Castle with its forests. Unbelievable. It exceeded any expectations. Raúl, the guide, committed, entertaining, with a great Capacity (in covers) to transmit what is for a Mexican his land, his history and his culture. One hundred percent recommended 🙌🏼
