Adriana was a great host and guide. She found the balance between guiding adults and kids. We had a great walking tour with her.

I had the pleasure taking the Mexico City Condesa and Roma Norte tour with Ricardo in October 2026. As it turned out it was a private tour and I was very pleased with the time I spend learning about and experiencing the two neighborhoods. Ricardo took the time to tell me the history of the neighborhoods and walking through and visiting all the major parks, monuments and museums., We also had time to take a break and have coffee at a local cafe and have lunch at an awesome restaurant Maizajo, which I would strongly recommend the experience to everyone. I highly recommend this tour and Ricardo to anyone that wants an introduction Mexico City and these neighborhoods.
Ingrid was lovely and informative. Three hours was too long, however, for La Condesa and Roma Norte neighborhoods. We recommend only two hours for this tour.
Alex was great. He reached out days before asking for what we wanted to see, he was very fun and knew so much about Condessa nd Roma. Recommend him highly.
Our guide did a great job showing us Condesa and Roma, and her English was very good. Enjoying hearing about the architecture.
Max was fantastic. His knowledge of history, architecture, and the city was wonderful. He showed us parts of the city we would of never seen otherwise. He was also able to show our daughter some trendy shopping spots and give her some Mexican music recommendations. He took great care and time to share his beautiful city with us. Truly a wonderful experience.
Ninelth matched the tour to our limited mobility. She gave us a good feel for Roma and Condesa in a few hours.
Although there was a scheduling issue, our tour guide was excellent and very adaptive to our needs during the trip.
Marisol was an informative and enthusiastic guide. Lots of interesting information about the history and architecture in Mexico City and especially Roma Norte neighborhood.
Roberto was fantastic. His passion for Mexico City was infectious. His communication before and after the tour was great. Highly recommended !!
Alex was great! Knowledgeable, good communication, flexible. Worth the time and money. Would use Alex as a guide for other parts of the city also
This is an experience everyone who visits CDMX should have. Marisol is incredibly knowledgeable, interesting, and kind. She put all of our experiences on our trip in historical and cultural context. My whole family had a great time!
Yara was a fantastic guide. She listened to what i was interested in and delivered beautifully. It was wonderful to have an experience specifically tailored to me. I can't rate it highly enough.
Easy to walk around the areas, shade available for most parts when hot. Alex tailored the sites to suit our interests and had a friendly and relaxed manner. Great communication throughout the booking process.
This walking tour was very personalized. Or guide was very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of this beautiful neighborhood and was just a joy to spend time with.
Terrific experience with Ernesto. He made the neighborhoods come alive. He was attentive, added lots of local color and history. Five Stars!
We had a wonderful tour with Ninelth. She did a great job familiarizing us with the Roma and Condesa neighborhoods and tailoring her tour to our interests. The company was also very responsive to our outreach and questions. Definitely recommend, especially as a way to acclimate on your first day!
Max, the guide is great and a sweet guy too for doing the tour after I had said I would probably cancel due to some back pain and muscle cramps. The thing is it was really not the experience I had signed up for. I had wanted a personalized neighborhood tour, the kind where someone can show you all sorts of unique things that are present in those parts of the city and not just large iconic historically significant statues and buildings. Those types of experiences are things I expect on a generalized tour. We did not venture off of major avenues or thorough fairs except to visit parks. I had requested to see areas where nature thrived in an urban setting but I meant places that would’ve been much smaller and more unique. I guess the whole tour really did not give me any feeling for the personalities of these two neighborhoods and I was really counting on getting into some appropriately cool vibes that you see in special places where design virtues and other unique factors make places like these standout against a homogenized world.
loved our walking tour. great overview and historical context . our guide was very knowledge and accommodating. would highly recommend
We had a great time on our walking tour with Claudia. She personalized the tour of Roma and Condessa, and gave us great insights into the neighborhoods as only a “local” can do! We have followed many of her suggestions for restaurants and cafes , etc, with our remaining time in Mexico City and been very pleased!
Greatly enjoyed the pleasant and informative walk through two of Mexico City’s most beautiful neighborhoods. Max expertly guided us tree lined streets sharing his knowledge of the history, architecture and culture of the area.
Excellent in all regards. Very helpful pre-tour communications and logistical instructions. Very engaging tour and brought great insights. Flexible to our objectives. Made fun and pace perfect.
Great and informative tour by Max. We don’t speak Spanish so we really appreciated his English fluency. We learned so much history and got to see some great architecture and parks. Max was also very accommodating with our schedule.
If you are staying in Reforma or Polanco I would highly recommend this tour to see another neighborhood in this city. Nic was a fantastic guide. He covered the culture, architecture, history, and the food scene. It was a lovely two hour walk around mostly Roma and he gave me lots of recommendations on things to try later. It was a wonderful experience and I grabbed lunch locally before I left afterwards. Thanks so much, Nic!
A personalize tour of Mexico City. We are a family of 4 and Nic was very engaging to the teenagers in the group. We got an abridged history, we can only learn so much in an afternoon. It was wonderful
My husband and I took this tour with Nik and he walked us through the neighborhoods of Roma and Condesa. We were arriving later in the evening and Nik was able to meet with us later in the evening and it worked out perfect for us. Nik gave us some history of the neighborhoods, the architecture, restaurant recommendations and local parks. It was a nice way to start our trip getting to know our surroundings. Thank you Nik.
Our guide was Claudia. She was very knowledgeable. We wanted to see Roma, Condesa and Polanco and focus on walkign around and understanding the newer part of the city. The tour was excellent and taylored exactly to our needs. It was so wonderful to explore the city on foot.
Adriana was a fantastic, thoughtful, and intuitive guide! She shared a great mixture of neighborhood history, current hidden gems, and general information about Mexican culture. She was extremely responsive and engaged ahead of the tour and followed up afterwards with details of some of the places we had seen. Meeting with her was the perfect start to my solo trip and helped me feel immediately comfortable and excited to be in CDMX!
Ernesto is a rock star! He was humorous, considerate, and super knowledgeable. I could have listened to him all day talk about the neighborhoods in Mexico City and Mexico in general.
We did this walking tour our first day in the city to get a feel for our neighborhood. Our guide, Lando, took us on a 2+ hour walking tour of all of the historical, architectural, and culinary highlights in Roma Norte and Condesa. He even suggested a fabulous restaurant where we had our first meal in CDMX, and it did not disappoint. Lando was great, he answered all of our questions, and took tons of great photos of us to capture the memories we made. Highly recommend.
I had a wonderful experience on this tour. Lando was an outstanding guide who shared an impressive amount of knowledge about the history and architecture of both Roma and Condesa. His passion for the city really came through and made the walk even more enjoyable. I left with a deeper appreciation for the unique character and charm of each neighborhood. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mexico City.
Marisol was so knowledgeable!!! Amazing guide! Loved the experience so informative and fun! Took us to the best architecture and food stops
Such a beautiful way to see the neighbourhoods with a personalized local tour that showed architecture, historical buildings and local hot spots. Lando was very passionate and engaging during our tour. He ensured that he covered all key parts of our tour. Beautiful tour in a beautiful city. Thank you again Lando for sharing your vision.
Yara was an informative, kind, and overall excellent tour guide. She took us around Condesa and Roma Norte on the evening of our arrival in Mexico City. We were staying in Condesa and wanted to get familiar with our surrounding neighborhood. She did that perfectly. She showed us the major streets, the major parks and landmarks, and a bunch of the restaurants we had reservations at over the course of our trip. She also gave us the history of the neighborhood within the long history of Mexico City and showed as some must-see spots that my wife and I had not found in our own research. Overall, it was a great way to start our trip.
Mariela took us to the most incredible taco spots! We enjoyed learning about the Mexican culture and food. Mariela was excellent in picking out food my picky 8 year old could also enjoy. Loved the experience!
Ricardo was a great guide. He showed us many interesting sites, stores, and galleries that we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. He was personable and generous with his time and advice.
Great time touring with Jack - very knowledgeable with helpful tips on other activities to do in the city. Additional insight on the history of Mexico City was very useful.
Marisol was very knowledgeable about the history and architecture. She also took us to various places to try local food. It was a very relaxed tour (walking pace) and we got so much out of it. She also recommended other places and restaurants in town.
Roma Norte and Condesa are amazing Mexico City neighborhoods with very interesting Art Deco and Art Nouveau architecture. Luis Rodrigo was a wonderful guide, weaving history and art into this architecture tour. He was flexible such that we started the walking tour in Roma Norte and ended in front of our AirBnb in Condesa (and stopping in Roma Norte for a pastry at the wonderful Panaderia Rosetta about which we had heard so much). We booked through Context Travel, which is pricey. But Luis was worth it
Ingrid was amazing! She is very knowledgeable and passionate about Mexico City. She answered all of our questions and gave us insight on many interesting areas and architecture of Condesa and Roma. Also, best places to eat!!!! I told her that i have a terrible memory and that I wouldn’t remember all the places that she recommended. Well 10min after we said good bye I received a message from her with all the links of the places! Very thoughtful!! Thank you Ingrid 🙏🙏 She speaks Spanish & English
We had a wonderful tour with Alex in April. He wanted to make sure we saw as much as we could of Mexico City and he made that happen. We learned so much and fell in love with Mexico City. Alex is extremely knowledgeable and personable and even gave us restaurant recommendations for the rest of our rime in the city. We would definitely tour with Alex again!
I had an awesome time walking around Roma and Condessa with Alex. I learned a lot but mostly just enjoyed chatting as we became friends. It was a great tour.
I hate to do this because our guide Nicolas was a very nice man but this was a terrible tour. We walked around both neighborhoods but there were no tips about fun places to return to, no visiting of interesting street art or architecture no introduction to the neighborhoods. We just walked around and he told us about Mexican history. We could have been anywhere in the city. Having had a different tour the following day with people who had a marvellous tour around Condessa and Roma Norte they confirmed our impression that it was a waste of our time. We were not unhappy that it ended 1 hour early. Would not recommend.
Very nice tour with knowledgeable guide. The area is beautiful with interesting history and a couple of street food experiences thrown in. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Nicolas is a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. I took a two-hour tour and, although I'm not a fan of architectural styles, I enjoyed connecting the historical dots. He provided insights not only about the two neighborhoods but also about the Mexica and Spanish conquests.
Nico was a very nice guide. Explored the history, food and culture in the area. Visited lovely parks. Enjoyed the 2 hour tour.
As the friend responsible for choosing and booking a tour for three other friends traveling together, there’s a worry and pressure of choosing a dud or being stood up. I’m so glad I chose City Unscripted,as they have amazing communication and organization! Their team answers any questions quickly and their process tailors your tour to your preferences. For this reason alone, I will use their services in the future in other cities. All four of us enjoyed our guide Ingrid for her knowledge, patience, humor and personality. Clearly she loves what she’s doing. This particular tour checked all the boxes for us: walking, getting the feeling for the vibe of a neighborhood and how people live, learning those little tidbits that we couldn’t possibly know without a guide. We ended our tour at a mouth-watering local fish taco spot we never would have found without Ingrid’s recommendation. Thank you Ingrid and everyone at City Unscripted for working hard to make wonderful memories for us.
Spent a beautiful morning exploring Roma and Condesa with Claudia - it felt like I was with a friend! She knew the area well and took me to see a couple of hidden gems I’d have otherwise missed. I’d definitely recommend booking her tour!
Rafael was phenomenal! He paid great attention to your needs and interests, and fully embraced the very spirit of CityUnscripted, in terms of tailoring your curiosity around Condesa and Roma areas. He was super approachable, yet opened my eyes to many Mexican cultures that I would have not been able to find out myself. He brought me to a few places for taco and vinyl record hunts (yes, odd combo yet very customized) that I was able to trace back myself in the remaining of my trip on my own. I just love the very spirit of CityUnscript to choose our own adventure with well guided staffs.
This was a fantastic personalized tour. We booked this because he wanted a private tour of the central historic district. Roberto was a fantastic Tour Guide and gave us a fun experience! He is also an archaeologist which brought an extra level of insight to our entire tour. This is highly recommended if you want a private tour experience. Thank you Roberto!!
