This was our second time using Hector and his team for a Mexico City visit and everything went perfectly as before. Our driver was waiting for us at the airport just as promised and was totally flexible about how we spent our day. We had him take us to a late lunch instead of the hotel and he waited while we ate then took us to check in. From then on, for 5 days, we had Hector or one of his team members waiting on us in a suburban from as early as we wanted to start to as late as we wanted to go. It’s so nice being able to leave things in the car during the day while you do different activities. If you want to do specific tours, they can recommend things and Hector himself is an excellent tour guide. When he dropped us at various places, he’d wait to make sure everything was ok before finding a place to park and wait. In the evenings we’d usually let the driver go home by 8p and use uber after that, but they are happy to go later if you prefer. Hector has become a friend and we recommend him to all our friends and family. If you are considering using a private driver for CDMX, I don’t think you can do better than this team. We will always use Hector and his team for our CDMX visits and find that it really adds to the overall experience. He’s a great guy and will make your trip special and personal.

We spent an entire day touring the city and every step of the way we enjoyed the narrative provided by our guide. Not only was he interesting but was very funny and a real pleasure to spend time with.

This tour was excellent. It hit all the important sites but was particularly well done because of the expertise of the tour guide. He gave us an insight we would never have gained on our own. We have used Diamond Transpadora in the past and they are always the best. Hector and Raoul are fantastic!

After doing private tours around the world, you can use Hector. I just wouldn’t do it differently. He was very professional, good communication skills, respect, knowledgeable about the places and history. We had a blast. Good, honest guy. He made us feel comfortable and tried to accommodate to every request and almost every place we wanted to go. We really push it because we had only 2 days. One day we used it for Mexico City and the other day for the pyramids and the the Basilica de Guadalupe. We always had good communication and the car was very comfortable and clean. I enjoyed walking through the historic part of Mexico city with such a friendly and knowledgeable guide. Right at the beginning, I was asked what my special interests were, and the tour was geared accordingly. The driver was also very attentive and drove through the busy streets brilliantly and with a charming driving style. The guide pointed out sights in the car and filled the driving times with clear and detailed information. The hot spots were stopped, and I had the opportunity to shoot a photo. Nice was also the time on foot; I could ask all sorts of questions about this fascinating and vibrant city. Thanks to the driver, we could visit several neighborhoods, which showed me the diversity and cultural differences of the city. I want to thank both personalities and highly recommend this private tour.

My tour guide, Jorge with Diamond Transportation, was very knowledgeable and personable. We walked throughout the Centro Historico; I saw places and learned info that I never would have on my own.

Simply excellent in every way! We booked Diamond Transportation (Hector the proprietor and driver) for our airport pick up to our hotel (four of us). Hector was exactly where he said he would be at the airport. His vehicle was virtually new (Suburban) and impeccably clean. The following day Hector drove to us museums and neighborhoods of Mx. City. Again, on time in our hotel lobby and ready to go with a wonderful attitude. (His knowledge of the City and it's history was excellent.) Hector's personality was easy and hospitable too. Hector even came through with short notice when Viator dropped the ball and canceled on another adventure.

Our guide was absolutely fantastic. He was very informed and made the total experience best in class.

We had the most amazing trip thanks to Hector! He is so kind and friendly and knows ALL of Mexico! He really goes out of his way to make sure you have the best experience. His car is lux. As 3 women we always felt safe with Hector and he helped translate and organize tickets for things etc. Highly recommend.

The best of the Best! If you are from the USA. Do not Uber around it’s a pain. Hector from diamond transport has you covered. I cannot emphasize that enough! -HIRE HIM- if you want 1st class service. -If you want a headache just UBER/TAXI- Make this part of your budget you will not regret it. Brand new Black SUV. Our driver Mr.Hector is a Human map of CDMX. Profesional all the way and you can always contact him through all major platforms. When we landed he was waiting at airport with sign and right away “ what would you like to do boss”? Told him we were hungry and wanted a steak house. Took us to Polanco where we found an Argentinian steak house. (Lots more places to eat there) Lots of police presence to protect tourist. Lots of people walking their high end dogs. We got down and ate as he waited in the garage, never complaining always happy picked us up and took us to our next destination As mentioned Mr. Hector knows the good areas and the bad ones. Never did our party of 4 feel unsafe as he was driving. He has tours of inside the city and all of the surrounding areas. All major tourist spots. Just tell him where you’re going once you get off at your initial spot so he can start planning the route. We were there for TRIPLEMANIA 29. Biggest wrestling event of the year. I guess high end SUVs have priority because every where we went I did not have to take more than 10 steps to be in the front door. When I visit CDMX again i will be calling him and booking the driver service. TRUST ME you need to hire him as your driver it will save you time & money!!!!

I've now had the pleasure of having Hector as a driver and guide multiple times during trips to Mexico City. He is very reliable--when he says he'll be there, he'll be there! He is also an excellent communicator, very easy to reach, and a kind and friendly person. He takes care of all logistics and makes scheduling/coordinating so easy, while at the same time being flexible. We visited Mexico City for three days and had never been there before. The hotel arranged for Hector to be our guide on the first day. What a wonderful driver and guide he was. We booked him for the full three days and managed to see almost everything. His knowledge of the history, culture and development of the country are impressive. He knows what to see, when to best to go there to take advantage of less traffic and fewer people, guides you through churches and museums and lives the culture of Mexico. With his beautiful and clean SUV we were swiftly moving from sight to sight. His great personality, excellent English and professional appearance made our stopover in Mexico a wonderful experience and assured that we will be back in town - but only with him as driver and guide. Hector and his college where extremely forth coming and gave us an amazing tour of Mexico city. Not only this they pick out a very exiting route through the town where we could learn about the history and development of the city with its amazing diversity, but also we where able to add stops along the way of personal interests. We really got such a good introduction into the history of the culture and what defines the Mexican people today. Even in times of Corona we where able to feel save and well protected in the comfort of a very luxurious car which had been sanitised of us. Also Hector and his college where of course wearing all the needed protection of face coverings and gloves. Hand sanitiser and water was also provided throughout the duration of the tour. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone wanting to explore the city!

My husband and I visited Mexico City in early March, and spent five days with Hector touring the various sites in the City. I can say - with confidence - that it would have been an entirely different - and inferior experience - without having Hector with us. Hector planned and coordinated each and every detail - from securing tickets to a soccer match the night we arrived, to visiting the floating gardens, pyramids, Basilica, providing a tour of downtown buildings, visiting the Kahlo museum, the modern Santa Fe neighborhood, and taking us to various locally well-known lunch spots, markets and anything we might have wanted. He took us to places we would have never known about, or had any clue how to navigate. He made recommendations, ordered for us, and interacted with service staff, ensuring that we were well taken care of - and we always felt safe. Hector was a pleasure, knowledgable, prompt, completely flexible and just a good good person. We looked forward to our days spent with him and are grateful to have found him - through another friend who hired him years ago. Want a private tour of the city without waiting in lines, risk getting gouged, and eating the best food ? Hector is your guy.

Don't book through this service. It is not accurate. I signed up for a tour of Casa Barragon as the first year of only giving experiential gifts for Christmas. When I got in touch with the tour operator the day before our tour I was informed that it was sold out and too late for a refund. Their advertising is misleading and not accurate. Do not book.

Hector is an excellent guide. He is well-informed and communicates clearly. He is passionate about the history of Mexico City and shares that passion in a way that is fun and inspiring. If you have limited time to see the City, this is a terrific way of obtaining an overview of its amazing features and history.

It was a mess. Given the enormous Price asked for this tour we expected to be shown around all the main spots in Mexico City. Our Driver was already late to pick us up, but it went worse. The first Hour of the trip was ok, many Information shared and explanations given. Since the tour was scheduled on a Sunday, several main roads were closed for public traffic, because of Sports activities (running, Cycling,..) going on there. The Driver confirmed that this was same every Sunday, but he got stuck several times due to roads being closed, as if he was not really Aware. Somewhat strange….at least. Based on this we lost quite some time on traffic ques and him looking for alternative ways to go. We montioned more than once that we would like him to stop at a Starbucks or similar to get us a coffee to go. He confirmed but never stopped. In return he stopped to Elaborate on what we are seeing or passing by and rarely communicated. I assume at this time he recognized that this would not end well. When we asked what would be next he was already somewhat grumpy asking why we would want to know this. Finally the tour ended after 2 Hours sharp. We clearly stated that we are not fine with this and asked him to continue the tour. He said that the tour was comprised of a 2 Hrs driving and another 2 hrs Walking part. With this he was done. Since he noticed that we were not ok and claimed a 50% refund of the Price he offered to wait for 2 hrs in front of the Location we would be visiting on our own next. Needless to say that we rejected this. Starting the communication with the Diamond Transport agency ended up same like with the Driver, although the Agency confirmed in writing that the tour was supposed to take 4 - 5 hrs. Since there was no willlingsness to come to Joint Agreement with the agency this is now going ist way to TripAdvisor to be clarified. Anyway: Heads up ! Asking € 190 is quite a lot of Money, especially in a Country like Mexico. Just imagine how far we could have with Uber for the same. In the end that was Nothing more than a Hop-on Hop-off Tour, since the Driver would have stayed in the car whilst we were supposed to stroll around on our own. This is in no way Premium Service. Things like this may happen, but if so there Needs to be a fair way of getting this solved. Offering a Joint walk free of charge isnt, dear Diamond Transportation ;-((

<p>Our guide was informative and walked us around many buildings and churches. unfortunately it was Monday and most museums are closed but he was helpful and we saw the old historical city. I do think though our guide could have spent a little time on tourist safety and what to do in a city so large and so many people especially when it is difficult to converse in English.</p>

My husband and I spent two fantastic days in Mexico City with Hector as our guide and driver. He is amazing...incredibly knowledgeable about Mexican history, art, architecture, archeology, food, etc. There were so many things we wanted to see in just two days, and Hector organized it so we could accomplish virtually everything we wanted. His English is excellent and it was a joy to spend time with him. We highly recommend him!

We visited Mexico City for 5 days over New Years with our son and daughter. Our daughter had lived there previously for a church mission, so, in addition to seeing some of the standard attractions, we wanted to meet some of the friends that she made while living there. We were a bit concerned about how we would get around, since many of the people that we visited lived out of the normal tourist areas. We connected with Hector on our first day and he was amazing! He ended up driving us for the 5 days that we were there. He was flexible with our unstructured, non-traditional schedule, and was willing to put in some long days (13 hours +) taking us to some out-of-the-way neighborhoods. He was also very knowledge and helpful in taking us to some amazing attractions along the way - Teotihuacan, Cholula in Puebla, Zocalo, Plaza Garibaldi, Polanco area. In retrospect, I'm not sure how we would have pulled this all off without him! Thanks, Hector!!!

<p>Our guide was great. His English was a little bit difficult to understand, but he made up for that with his friendliness and knowledge of Mexico City and it's history He reviewed the other tours we had signed up for, and then took us to sites and museums to cover the rest. Recommend</p>

Hector’s work is impeccable, not only is he a very professional guide but he is a great human being, we strongly recommend traveling with Hector, our experience was incredible and every time we return to Mexico we will contact him. I was traveling with my wife, my children and my parents so we wanted an option with short walks and the option of being able to stop anywhere so we could know the most important places, we wanted to know a lot but comfortably because for my parents we wanted to avoid exhausting walks.Initially we hired airport transports and a tour and ended up hiring the services of hector all week. The vehicle a Tahoe well kept, clean and very comfortable, Hector showed us all the places and every day offered us from the fridge of the vehicle, drinks to all, water, juices, beer and fruit, a really premium and excellent Service. He did everything in his power to show us the city and make us feel comfortable and is a connoisseur and scholar of culture and all tourism matters. Words fall short, thank you Hector for making our trip an unforgettable time.

We contacted Hector and arranged with him transfer services from and to the airport, plus a full day visiting Teotihuacan and the historic center of Mexico City. He sent us a very nice driver, a very good vehicle and a great guide. Very happy with your services. We recommend it.
