Itinerary
We start at a bohemian spot in Roma Norte. We open with mezcal, poured properly, or a cold beer for those easing in. Over that first round you get the quick history: where lucha libre came from, and why this city made it its own. Where the fight starts making sense: who's rudo, who's técnico, and, after a short quiz, which of the two you've been all along.
Northern-style and neon-lit. Al pastor comes off the trompo, alongside a picaña taco, with a cold beer or a non-alcoholic option.
Two more tacos here: birria and chuleta, alongside a cold beer and mezcal. Before we leave, you learn what to shout in the arena and pick your mask, or it picks you. Yours to keep.
We arrive at Arena México, pass the mural in the reception, and enter a room that's already loud, taking seats close to the ring with a clear view of the ropes. From here you read the match the way we spent the evening preparing you for: who's rudo, who's técnico, and who the crowd has decided to hate tonight. After the last match, we leave the arena together and walk you to a safe, well-connected corner on the edge of Roma Norte, where you can catch transport or order a ride. Nobody is left to work out the way home alone.

Overall the experience was fun! Our guide Alissa was very knowledgable and had so many fun facts about Lucha Libre for us. We went to 2 taquerias before that and Alissa explained about the various drinks as well. While Alissa did her best, the food part wasn't very inclusive for people with dietary restrictions/allergies. Kudos to Alissa for getting us some esquites at one of the places.
Highly recommend this tour to introduce you to Lucha Libre! Delicious Tacos 🌮 and Mexican beverages on route to the arena with our informative fun guides Alisa and Alejandro
Alisa and Alejandro were wonderful tour guides and taught us all about Lucha libre. We ate delicious tacos and tried michelada, beer, mezcal and tenpiche. The Lucha was spectacular. Really fun night!
Great Time. Highly Recommend Alissa our guide was great.
It was one of the coolest experiences you can take in Mexico Alisa was amazing sharing with us her love for Mexico, the food, the drinks and everything that was special of this beautiful city they also give us a little surprise for everyone 🥰
Fun experience & great vibes! Gets packed very fast so get there early! They only sell beer no cocktails! Super cool experience!
Brilliant, fun, worth it, great tacos, best guide
Tacos on the tour were great and the seats to the lucha libre show were decently close.
Had a wonderful time with Alisa as our guide. Come hungry!
Great guide and awesome experience.
Alissa and Danielle were super guides! Knowledgeable , fun, clearly love the life in Mexico City. Great tacos, mezcal, drinks (all types). Highly recommend you Check this out…
We had a great time on the tour. We went to 1 drink spot and 2 tacos places. We had two delicious tacos and a drink at each taco spot. The walks between locations was quick and the lucha libre experience was fun! One of the coolest and most exciting events I’ve gone to. We went on a Sunday, family night. They gave us a mask as well and we made our own luchador name. It was a great time and the location was a 35 minute walk from where we stayed. Highly recommend the tour with Daniela and Alisa!
We had the absolute best time on this lucha libre tour! From the start, our guide made everything smooth, fun, and easy to follow. Starting off with great local food and drinks set the perfect mood before heading into the energy of the arena. Having someone who actually explained the history, the rules, the storylines, and the meaning behind the masks made a massive difference—we understood and appreciated the matches so much more than if we had just gone on our own. The seats were fantastic, the crowd's energy was electric, and getting some fun extras (like our own mask/merch and great photo ops) put it over the top. If you're on the fence about booking a tour for lucha libre, do it—and hopefully you get a team as awesome as this one!
Experience was soooooo amazing. Solo traveler. Met with a group and we had soooo much fun. Regina and Alex were amazing guides and definitely the highlight of my trip here. Tacos were delicious 🤤. The arena was sooooo much fun. The background info we received were helpful before getting there. I lost my voice screaming in the arena in Spanish and I don’t even know Spanish lol. Def book them if you can .
Absolutely fabulous! Insanely great deal and amazing seats! Great tour guide. Solid tacos. 20 out of 10
Lots of great food provided as well as fun masks and good seats.
Had a lot of fun at the tour of lucha libre!! Good mezcal, filling tacos and good stories told about Luchas!
For me it was a really fun experience! We visited three different places before going to the lucha libre, and at each stop we got to try different food and drinks. We had a snack, mezcal and one more drink in the first place and two tacos at the other two, everything was really good. There was also lots of beer along the way. I really like that Regina, our guide, explained a lot about lucha libre on the way there. Even if you know nothing about it, by the time you get to the arena you already understand the basics and can actually follow what’s happening and have a lot more fun. The food, drinks, and lucha libre made it such a fun night. Definitely recommend it!
The tour was AMAZING!!! It was my second time watching lucha libre and I enjoyed it much more than the first time indeed. The tour started in the evening and the distance between each place wasn't far. I liked the foods and drinks overall. My favorite was taco de picaña from Tacos Juan and taco de birria from Los Pacientes. Also, the mezcal of the first bar was tasty. The tour guide explained the history and how to enjoy the lucha in a very Mexican way before arriving at Arena Mexico, so it was much more fun than just going to see the Lucha. I recommend the tour not only for tourists, also for Mexicans / foreigners living in Mexico. Thank you so much :)
The reservation did not indicate the language of the event. I found that the rest were English. Alisa, the guide, behaved phenomenally and tried to make sure both parties understood. She knew the subject matter perfectly and knew how to make comments and ask questions perfectly. The experience with the rest of the attendees was the biggest problem because of the language.
The wrestling tour with Regina is an experience you cannot miss on your visit to CDMX. It started with a food tour and ended at the wrestling arena. All the tacos we tried were delicious; I would say they are the best tacos we have tried on our trip. The mezcals and beers we tried were as well. A tour that I recommend 100%. The experience at the wrestling match was something else! A must-see.
Excellent guide Regina is an incredible person and we hope to return. Excellent tour
I thought it was an innovative and creative tour; we started at the 1st mezcaleria in Mexico, continuing through two very good options to try delicious tacos—my favorites were al pastor and pork chop with poblano strips—the highlight was the visit to the lucha libre matches, which were awesome. The guides Regina and Manuel had a very good attitude.
Reina is incredible. I loved the lucha libre and the taco al pastor
Excellent tour, highly recommended. The tacos were delicious; we wouldn't have tried them if it weren't for this tour. An incredible experience.
This experience is incredible! From the first bar, the guide tells you about the history of lucha libre and little by little gets you into the atmosphere until arriving at the matches. Everything we ate and drank was spectacular. The tacos were very good and the portions were super good. Between the mezcal, the “cerillito,” and everything they were telling us, the tour went by very quickly and when we arrived at the arena I was already super excited to see the matches. Honestly, I had a lot of fun; it is definitely an experience I would repeat. Thank you very much!!
Everything was great!! Excellent service, the food was delicious and excellent tour
The tour began at a bar, where we enjoyed some drinks while they explained a little about lucha libre. Afterward, we started walking and, during the journey, our guide kept telling us more about the places we would visit. The first stop was at a taco shop with a very cheerful and colorful atmosphere, full of signs that gave it a lot of personality. The tacos were very good, by the way. There we continued learning about the experience and they even explained to us that the drinks were "trancazos" and not "besitos," so we had to drink them as they were meant to be. We continued walking to a second taco shop, where we tried barbacoa tacos and spent another very pleasant moment. Afterward, they gave us some masks and began to explain even more about lucha libre: what we had to shout, what some of those shouts meant, who some of the wrestlers we would see were, and how our entry into the arena would be. Upon arriving, we got excellent seats, right next to the ring. During the entire show, we were shouting, getting excited, and enjoying it along with all the people. What I liked most was that the tour never felt like a traditional tour. It felt more like an acquaintance was taking me around their city, showing me with a lot of enthusiasm the things they like most about it. That closeness made the whole experience even more special.
That was cool! In one evening, taco, mezcal, and a libretto! Now I better understand the essence of Mexican wrestling (it's much more interesting than it seems at first glance). Also, our guide Regina presented everything in a fun and interactive format. When we arrived at the arena, I already had an idea of what was happening in the ring. I've known for a long time that I love tacos, but after this tour I also know that I am a fan of Micheladas and tepache. And I already have favorites among the luchadores. How they jump!!
It is a super fun experience!! The tacos that are included are delicious and at every stop there is beer and mezcal options. Regie gives you context about the matches so you don't arrive without knowing anything and she was always very attentive to everything :) Come prepared in case it rains!!
