Our tour guide was excellent. He was a wealth of knowledge and made sure that we were safe as we navigated biking in the city. We enjoyed the history that he could provide, and all of the stops were delicious!

Had a tour with Andres and he was awesome! Very personable and his history education background helped us really get a feel for events that made Mexico City the city it is today. Food was excellent and a nice mix of street food and small taquerias. We also really enjoyed biking and had the tour to ourselves. Already recommend this activity to people we have crossed paths with in CDMX.
Book this trip! Me and my friends still talk about it. We had the most wonderful time doing this tour. It was informational and very fun. We tried a lot of different foods and got to learn the history behind each dish. Our tour guide helped us through markets and street vendors. My favorite was the freshly made still warm tortilla with some salt. We were so full by the end. I appreciated the guides dedication to safety. I felt extremely safe the entire time on our bikes.
My wife and I had a wonderful experience traveling through Mexico City with our guide, Andres. Andres was friendly and knowledgeable of the City’s history, monuments and food culture. We went on a Monday, when portions of Chapultepec Park were closed off but we were granted access which gave the tour a relaxed, VIP feel. We also went through the Reforma, Juarez, Roma and Contreras neighborhoods with a number of stops to learn about the area’s street food offerings, history and architecture. The ride felt safe the whole time even though we through City streets of various sizes. I give this tour my highest recommendation. Muchas gracias, Andres!
Our guide Hector was fantastic -- fun, attentive to our safety on bikes all over the city, great company, and shared his own knowledge of history and spots around the city with us. We enjoyed every minute of the tour and with him.
10/10 experience with a guide who is a CDMX local & knows the city like the back of his hand! Lucky it was just my friend and I, so the guide tailored the entire experience from both the culinary & sightseeing perspective to be exactly what we wanted for for our first time visiting CDMX.
We had a fantastic time! A Beautiful, safe, informative and delicious tour with 2 adults and my 3 kids (ages 12, 14, 16). Highly recommend a Sunday tour when the Reforma is closed to cars. An incredible experience. Thank you Hector and Minerva!
We had an excellent biking food tour we got to explore many parts of the city and eat delicious local food. We felt very safe biking with our guide Angel who was wonderful.
Angel not only gave us so much history of the food we ate but also so much history of Mexico City. The food was fantastic. We felt very safe and Angel looked out for our safety.
Our bike tour with Angel was fantastic. We had two adults and two teens and the tour was great for all of us. We felt safe riding, learned a ton of interesting history about Condessa, Roma, Juarez, etc, tried a variety of delicious food, and loved seeing so many neighborhoods in one swoop. The insider perspective the trip offered was fantastic and I’d absolutely do it again. We’re still taking about the tamales, quesadilla, snacks, and sites a week later.
Tour guide was amazing, would definitely recommend if you're visiting Mexico City for the first time. It was a great experience to be able to eat like a local and learn more about the history of this place. Unfortunately, it started pouring during the last hour of our tour and we had to walk the bikes 45 minutes back to the shop. We fell into several puddles, with many of us tripping over the bikes and slipping on the sidewalk. The manager of the tour was informed of the weather and our situation, but did not offer any help. We were hoping there would be a driver to retrieve our bikes since things like this must happen all the time, but the manager of the tour did not offer any sort of help.
Awesome way to experience some of the City and a great food experience!! Our guide was great and we really enjoyed it.
I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Alfredo was a great guide and very careful as we were all on bikes. He was super knowledgeable and the food stops were all very tasty. My favorites were the tamales and the chocolate but all were good. We also loved the quesadilla stand that has been around for 50 years and the woman who runs it makes her own blue corn tortillas from scratch! In addition to the tour being a great way to see the city on a bike the people at Pedalea were very easy to deal with. People in our group got sick and they accommodated us past the change date and changed our tour from a Friday to a Saturday. We really appreciated that. All in all a 10 out of 10!
The tour was well managed and we felt very safe as a family of four with two tween boys. Everyone enjoyed it, and enjoyed the company of the guide and the other two folks that joined us.
Great tour! Did this with 6 guys total. Chill, informative, tons of food, not strenuous, you make maybe 5 stops.
This was such an awesome way to see and experience the city! Angel was an awesome guide; so knowledgeable and fun! He definitely made the experience even better! There are some cool stops along the way to get a bit of culture and history sprinkled into the ride, and all the food stops were delish! Absolutely recommend this if you want to see and taste the city in a fun and adventurous way!
Best way to experience the sights sounds and food in CDMX! We did 10+ miles! Just make sure to pump your tires as the roads are uneven at points and fully inflated tires will make pedaling easier!
My Mexico City bike food tour was fantastic! We explored cool neighborhoods, ate delicious food, and learned about the city's history. Highly recommend!
Best part was biking through many parts of city and great information supplied by Angel our guide. If want tour for food, probably better tours.
absolute worth trying, we circle around Roma and other historical areas and had great food and learned a lot about the local culture and history
We had a wonderful time on our foodie tour. Not only was the food amazing, our guide, Angel, was so friendly and knowledgeable. Since there were just two of us, we rode faster and covered more ground and got to soak up the culture and history along the way. I would definitely recommend this tour!
Fantastic experience! Angel and Luis were wonderful guides and shared their knowledge of Mexico City. The food was delicious and we were quite full by the end!
Fabulous guide named Luis. Great exposure to Mexico City. Food was exceptional from start to finish. Great weather.
Such a great experience to see different areas and try new foods; all of the stops were informative and the bike route was great. Ángel was an amazing guide and really enjoyed hearing his perspective on the city.
Mexico City is awesome, but it really requires a fair amount of walking. After a week of ubering to a general location, and then hoofing it, a bike tour was just what the doctor ordered. The ride wear relatively flat and relaxed. We went on Sunday, which is a good day for everyone to ride. Stop number one was a tortilleria. Fresh corn tortillas along with various tacos prepared by a family that drives in 2 hours a day. Stop #2 was a different type of taco. Stop #3 was a lovely park. Dog enthusiasts will love it. Stop #4-6 I'll leave for you to discover, but a real "taste of Mexico". The final stop was really educational as well. The owners of the Cafe Ikigai covered Day of the Dead. Our guide Mazic?, was the absolute best. If you can request her, do so You will be full.
The tour is very well designed with so many nice stops for food and snacks. Starting with a Mexico coffee and bread in the morning, followed by different type of Tacos. Different parts of the city was also well covered, such as Roma, Condesa and many nice places in the city. Very nice experience.
A very nice way to spend your first day in Mexico City. Safe, low key and great food included. Guides were also great.
My friend and I had a great experience with this tour. We were nicely greater at the beginning of the tour with a local style coffee and a local party followed by the tour. It was National Day in Mexico so biking around was really fun. Our tour guide was amazing and took her time to explain around the city monument and the type of food we ate during the tour The food market tour was super fun and we bought quite some stuff to carry around. Highly recommend the tour to discover the city and its traditional food experience!
This bike and foodie tour was a highlight of our visit to Mexico City. Our guide "Angel" was amazing!! He was very kind and courteous and we got to see many places that we probably wouldnt otherwise. Although the traffic in Mexico can be quite chaotic, we always felt very safe during our ride. From a traditional Mexican breakfast to start off the morning to market stalls with exotic fruit and many other stops along the way, it was fascinating to learn about the history of the city as well as a culinary adventure for any visitor...
Marco was super friendly and definitely did a great job navigating us through the huge city. We stopped at some great places for our bites to eat and he was also knowledgeable of the neighborhoods and history. Highly recommended.
Amazing experience! a beautiful way to see a city and take a glimpse of it's story and culture! Marco was a wonderful guide! I would strongly recommend it!!!!
A wonderful experience! Bicycling in Mexico City felt surprisingly safe due to the care of our tour guide Marco. Arrive hungry - we tried 2 different kinds of tamales and atole, chocolates, tortillas, tacos, and Mexican sweets. I was definitely full by the end of the tour even with all the biking! Marco was fantastic at explaining all the different types of food, plus giving historical and cultural information about the areas we were in. Thank you Marco!
Angel was a most excellent guide. He made us feel safe riding on unfamiliar roads while also taking into account that we are experienced cyclists at home. He expertly interwove facts and history with anecdotes about the neighborhoods we rode through and the foods we ate. I highly recommend this tour to anyone, even the novice cyclist.
Marco and Citlali for wonderful. I got a flat tire and they were right on it right away and the tour wasn’t even interrupted by it.
Highly recommended. Nice tour guide, his english was very good en lots of information about the city, country and the food
While I’m still scratching my head over how my 5’4” wife and my 6’8” body ended up on bikes with the same frame size after we shared our heights when asked the previous day, this was just a fabulous day of exploring tortillas, tamales, tacos, agua de chocolate, horchata, fresh-squeezed fruit juice, and dulces all over Roma, Polanco, and Condesa. Scenic ride, never feeling at all in danger through the crowded streets of the city, and all precisely guided by Angel who has the perfect skill set for this adventure. Just a great day!
After a rocky start where we weren't told the meeting place had changed, we had a great day with Luis. He made up the time we missed in the morning by extending into the afternoon. Going on a Sunday was optimal since most of the streets are closed to cars. Luis was great at keeping his eye on us and making sure we were ok and keeping up. He went at our pace and the sites he took us to were great. It was a really nice time and I recommend it as a great way to see many things including the food market. Luis is a really nice person and is a great guide.
We had SUCH a great time! Our tour guides not only showed us a ton of great foods we wouldn’t have otherwise found, but also made us feel safe while biking around the city and were so open with us as we asked tons of questions! We did the tour on a Sunday which is a great day to do it as cars are generally restricted in a lot of areas on sundays. I recommend doing this tour early in your trip! Our tour guides tailored the trip around us :)
Just a wonderful bike/food tour, you will not be disappointed and you’ll want to do another one with this tour company.
My friends and I had a fantastic day in this tour! We highly recommend it as a way to see Condesa and the San Juan market, and also recommend not eating breakfast, there was so much food to try throughout the day.
Was a really cool bike tour, around Mexico City center, watching cool places, street art, and excelente approach to Mexican food. Really good way to get familiar with what you will find in Mexico City. Excelent way to start a trip.
A fantastic way to start our trip to Mexico City. The route taken by our guides was great-saw many famous landmarks and had our photos taken as well. The food stops along the way were delicious. My favourite stop was probably the chocolate museum but hard to choose because the food offered was all delicious and plentiful. The visit to the San Juan market was also a highlight, especially for my husband who got his chance to eat a scorpion - I only ate an ant and grasshopper - both surprisingly tasty. Thanks to both the girls who escorted us (sorry forgot their names) who kept us safe on the roads and very well fed. Highly recommend this tour
My wife and I had a short vacation in Mexico City recently. On a tour to Teotihuacan, other tourists talked about this bike tour and highly recommended it. We immediately booked one. We had such a great experience knowing the city much better. We experienced various street foods, and they are delicious. Some friends back in Los Angeles advised against street foods. But we were fine and enjoyed them. We visited different district, monuments, markets, historical stores. We had the best cervices in San Juan market. Luis the tour guide is very helpful. We planned to visit Frida Kahlo's museum after the bike tour, not knowing that it would have costed us 1 -2 hours standing at a line at the door if without tickets. Luis helped us to purchase the tickets online. One regret is that our bike tour was on the last day of our stay. We would recommend to schedule a bike tour on the first day in the Mexico City so one can be more comfortable to get around of the city.

Fantastic tour, absolutely worth the time and money in Mexico City. We completed the tour on our first full day in Mexico City which gave us a good awareness of neighbourhoods and area's to go back and spend more time in. Our hosts were amazing and very knowledgeable about Mexico City and of course all things FOOD! We went to so many vendors I cannot even recount them all here for you, highlights were the old Tortilla stand where we also had chili cause made by the grandmother, fresh taco's and some fresh fish at the markets.

Thank you for awakening our food experience in Mexico City

We did this tour and were alone with a 12-year-old. It's four hours in the heat, but it's worth it. You have to know how to maneuver by bike in the city, the traffic is dense but the team is top, we enjoyed well. It's a great way to visit the city.
My 16-year-old son and I went on a super nice tour to the culinary delights on Saturday with two very nice, approachable and well-informed bicycle guids. The perfectly organized tour, we felt very safe, gave us a great insight into the colorful hustle and bustle in this city. The food on the street, the many fruits and the delicious fish salad on the market and the chocolate we enjoyed. Roads are closed to cyclists on Sunday and it is a great experience to be on the road with the many Mexicans cycling. Thank you very much Pedalea Team for this great experience.
