Very grateful to David and the tour company for this experience! The locations, information, and insights are things we would have probably never experienced on our own even after several trips to CDMX.

Ivan took us through the southern street art route and somehow made Mexico City’s history of protest more gripping than anything on Netflix — except here the plot twists are 40 feet tall and painted on a wall. Every stop came with a story: who painted it and why. Ten out of ten! The bikes were solid, the pace was kind to two out-of-practice adults, and Ivan clearly loves this city enough to make you fall for it too. Only complaint: I now judge every blank wall back home for its wasted potential.
Ivan & Asaf were great guides! The tour was very safe & the pace was very easy even for people who do little bike riding. The stop for lunch was my favourite part.
I had a really great tour with David! He was friendly, knowledgeable, kind and a lot of fun. The tour route is flat with frequent stops and I learned a lot more about Mexican history than I was expecting. I’d take the tour again just to hang with David. He’s an avid cyclist and saved the day with his own gear and tools when my bike had a problem. Even the rental office has a cool mural by @andre__amx highly recommend a tour with David.
We had a very nice time with Ivan exploring Mexico City murals and learning about the artists, history and culture. The route is flat and easy and the street tacos are very good too.
We just had an amazing tour with David and Iván. They were really nice guys who obviously care about the city and it's art. They were also great with our kids. Poray also helped us out by providing a tandem bike so my 8-year-old daughter could ride with me. They also took us to the most delicious lunch. I would definitely recommend the mural tour and wish we had time to do the others.
A fun tour around Mexico City. A fun taste of culture, history, and art. One of my favorite ways to see the city.
We booked this tour primary because it goes into neighborhoods rather than up and down Reforma. It also had good reviews. We were greeted by David at the shop. He was attentive and had great energy. Our bikes were ready, equipped with baskets. The bikes are single-speed cruiser style, and they are heavy and geared too high for the stop-and-go nature of this tour. The gearing makes it difficult to navigate traffic… it just takes too long to get going. I personally did not feel unsafe in traffic but I’m sure many people would, and I would never take a child on this tour. I think a reasonable age requirement would be about 14. There were tandems in the shop; maybe that would be an option. The tour included some truly impressive street art we would NEVER have seen otherwise because we simply do not visit the neighborhoods on this tour. There are reasons for that. At one point we were learning about a mural, standing about 15 feet from our bikes. An older lady approached and told us our bikes should be locked up. We also figured out on our own (no help from David) we should clip our bags to the baskets and take them with us when we stepped away from the bikes. Takeaway- don’t depend on the guide or anyone else for security. You shouldn’t anyway, but especially on this tour. David was informative and invested in our experience. That was clear throughout the tour. We were a little confused by the art space we visited on the tour and it felt like David was trying hard to sell it. If my workshop looked like this workshop I would consider torching it and starting fresh. The people working were kind and patient, but the space is a little rough. The tour wrapped up at a local taco place and I would have loved to have tried their food but it just looked too risky for a tummy that was already fighting something. We were also out of time. David grabbed his lunch to go and we made it back to the shop in time for us to make our next obligation. All-in-all I would recommend this tour so long as you feel fully informed about what to expect. Sometimes you have to step out of your comfort zone to sink below the superficial tourist line. This tour, although definitely for tourists, felt like that.
This was a great way to see parts of the city we may not have seen otherwise. Ivan, our guide was knowledgeable and the whole ride felt so safe on bike paths protected by barriers or with the second guide in the back protecting us from traffic as we turned, etc. I highly recommend this tour!
This is a fabulous tour! My niece and I had a great time! It goes at a pace accessible to all and they did a great job keeping everyone safe. Ivan is an incredible guide who shared so much information about the city. It was fun to see different neighborhoods and so many murals. Highly recommend!
David accommodated our schedule and showed us a lot of interesting murals in the city.
the absolute best tour i have been on. david and ivan kept us informed and safe throughout this wonderful art experience.
My wife and I are huge fans of street art so we were thrilled to see this tour as an option. We had a great time and Iván was a wonderful guide. We biked through various neighborhoods that we likely wouldn’t have found ourselves in on our own. And wow, was the art incredible! It was truly amazing to see so many different types of street art on one tour. We also enjoyed the visit to the Antique Toy Museum which had an incredible collection of vintage toys, and, of course, even more awesome art! We had lunch towards the end of the tour at a lovely stand where we tried chorizo verde and tylacoyos. We felt very safe with Iván as our guide, who always made sure we were right behind him and that cars would stop for us when needed. It can get hot in these neighborhoods, so consider sunscreen if you are prone to burn. There are various stops throughout the tour, but prepare to keep up a decent pace when crossing busy intersections. You will be riding mostly on the street, sometimes in a bike lane and sometimes not, so consider this with respect to skill level and potential fear of riding with vehicle traffic. We would absolutely recommend this tour to our friends and family and would honestly take it again if we came back to CDMX. There are two routes to chose from-North and South. North is more historical and South shows you more true “graffiti”. We chose South and were not disappointed.
David and Timon (Alex) were excellent guides! We were worried about biking on the busy streets but they made it easy and manageable for all of us--including a 12-year-old and a 77-year-old. It was a great balance of bike riding, pausing to see the murals, and hearing about the history of Mexico City.
I was traveling alone and, based on my wonderful experience at a lucha libre evening, I also decided to do the street art tour. Everything was brilliantly organized, and the two guides, Timon and Alberto, were fantastic. They showed and explained everything clearly and patiently – even on the bike ride, they always made sure the participants were comfortable. Highly recommended. Greetings from Germany, Steffi
Was great, but we ended up spending half of our time in an art space that was preparing for a festival that evening. Would have preferred more murals!
The guides were amazing! The tour was great, but the 1 speed bikes kept having issues with flat tires, so we lost time. While functional, these bikes are not the quality normally found on a bike tour. Regardless, the tour was great. The price was excessive for what we got, so I would recommend finding a tour for half this price.
This bike tour relates Mexico City street art and murals to Mexico’s history. Gabby was an amazing guide and the food stop was fantastic. Surprises include a stop at an amazing library and an out of this world art studio. I highly recommend this experience .
Alberto and his team were wonderful and did such a great job keeping us safe along with sharing this unique part of the city. I HIGHLY recommend this bike tour as it gives you insight into the hidden gems and parts of the city you’re not likely to see. Our guide Alberto was so kind, patient and knowledgeable— what a fabulous day we had!!
My son and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour! It was quite fun seeing parts of the city by bike that we wouldn’t have found ourselves and the art was really spectacular. We spent an evening looking back at our photos and sharing the stories with our friends. The taco stop was so delicious and perfectly timed in the tour. Gabby is a warm and knowledgeable guide. Five stars!
Gabby gave us a wonderful tour of local contemporary murals. She has a deep understanding of local history as well as detailed architectural knowledge. Gabby is clearly passionate about her city and eager to showcase it. She knows many of the active muralists personally and shared about the process of creating these monumental projects, interspersed with intriguing anecdotes about the politics of public art. Lunch was at a wonderful street food stop with delicious blue corn tacos. Highly recommend.
Gaby and her team were great. She provided wonderful insight into the cultural significance of street art and murals, and we stopped at many points of interest. Her team did a great job of keeping the group safe on the busy streets of Mexico City too. The taco stand we stopped at was great too. On a side note, I think the owner of the bike shop could do a better job of maintaining the bikes. My brakes were very weak and could have used a change, and the bike my partner used had gears that shifted randomly. We weren’t expecting bikes like ours at home, but they definitely could have used a little bit of TLC. However, this didn’t affect our enjoyment of the tour. Just a heads up for future tourists who expect top-of-the-line bikes to reset expectations a wee bit😁.
Ivan was knowledgeable and very pleasant and as a bonus introduced me to new MX food at lunch and provided context of some Mexican history and customs. Beautiful street art murals!
so much fun that we literally booked another bike art tour. getting to see the city on bikes was so cool!
Fascinating view of Mexico City. We saw neighborhoods and murals that we would never have found in our own. It was exhilarating to bike in the city as well.
We had such a fun day with Iván, Timon and Beto. Iván and Beto were a wealth of knowledge about the street art and added in interesting tidbits of history along the way. It was obvious that Iván was passionate about the art, had done extensive research and even created relationships with a local printshop and museum which enhanced the experience. Timon was the expert blocker which made us feel safe from traffic the entire trip. The introduction to maize azul tacos was a welcome and delicious treat. This was a highlight of our trip to Mexico City and a great way to see a lot in a short amount of time, We highly recommend this Art Mural Bike trip!
An interesting unusual tour. Taking you along unusual local roads off the beaten path away from tourists or even local citizens! The cycling is slow and safe . The tour guide Alberto was very nice but his English is not very good so I think it would have been even better had he been able to speak fluently
An excellent tour and route cycling carefully mostly on bike lanes . Covering very special section in the city especially a unique family owned art gallery . Alberto the guide is probably very knowledgeable but his English is inadequate for being a tour guide
This tour was so interesting and fun. There were 4 of us plus two guides. The tour was about 3 hours. We visited areas that we never would have come across on our own. Gabby led us through back streets and showed us beautiful art while telling us much about the history of the artist, the area and the city. We also stopped for lunch at a local stand that served excellent Tlacoyos! This was a lovely experience with an interesting, knowledgeable and personable guide.
This was our favourite experience. Alberto took us to places we would never know existed. We got to experience a different side of Mexico City. We had a fantastic time.
This was such a great experience! I was definitely the least experienced city cyclist there and the guides helped me feel comfortable. They were super knowledgeable about the city and I loved talking to them. We even got lucky on our tour and were able to go inside an incredible studio space. Would absolutely recommend!
An excellent and super interesting tour of Coyoacan with Paco covering so much and full of fascinating stories. We highly recommend him
Very enjoyable ride stopping at a couple very interesting murals. People are muy amable. Leader knows a lot about the barrios. You want to visit real CDMX, take this tour.
This tour was is an absolute must! Gaby, the owner and guide, is extremely knowledgable and generous. It was, for sure, a highlight of our trip. It was our first time visiting Mexico City and it was an exciting way to learn about the history and culture of this amazing place! Gaby is an archetect! I would recommend it in a heartbeat! It is also very reasonably priced for all the time and expertise that's provided.
The tour was fantastic!! I saw a side of CMDX I would otherwise not have seen! We were a small group of 6 with the luxury of 2 guide: Iván and Timón. Thankyou so much for a fantastic day! I learned a lot and had a good time.
I really enjoyed this tour. Alberto took us to places I wouldn’t have otherwise seen in Mexico City and I got a feel for the more unseen neighbourhoods in the centre of the city. Hearing the history of Mexico City told alongside modern murals and artworks gave more depth to the stories and the people today. Much more insightful than a regular history tour and with more ground covered. It was a relaxing cycle too, and lunch was absolutely delicious. I recommend this tour!
I have taken a few street art tours and many bike tours, but this was the first that combined both. Because it included the downtown district of CDMX, the riding was predominately busy, high traffic streets. A few moments were pleasant side streets, but if your priority is a fun bike tour, I would seek one that is further away from the city's center. Our guide Gaby was extremely knowledgable about Mexican history and seemed to lose track of time going into deep historical details when a guest asked a question. Our tour ran quite late and my group had a hard stop, so we proactively asked for help leaving early. A guide was made available to get us back to the drop-off point. The streets/traffic we navigated was absolutely insane. We did see fabulous murals and went to a hidden gem of a toy museum that was a 10/10.
This was an enjoyable and informative cycling tour around Mexico City looking at some of the amazing street art in the city. Ivan was an excellent and knowledgeable guide who successfully steered us through the streets of the city which are surprisingly cyclist friendly. I would definitely recommend this tour as you get to go through some of the areas you wouldn’t otherwise visit and the lunch was fantastic!
I had a wonderful time with Ivan on the street art cycle tour. Ivan was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the amazing art that adorns many buildings in Mexico City. We had some really nice vegan street food too! I highly recommend this tour - you won’t be disappointed.
Absolutely loved this tour. Great seeing all the street art and learning so much about it. Our guides, Gaby and Cesar, were great. Lovely food at end of trip. Highly recommended
We had such a wonderful cycling tour today with Gaby and Cesar. It was great seeing all the street art and Gaby was very informative. We felt safe on the streets and really enjoyed the food at the end. Definitely recommend.
We had a safe and enjoyable ride to areas we never would have visited. Albeto was knowledgeable and patient.
Ivan was an excellent tour guide! We really loved how there were 2 guides with us while biking. The whole experience was really safe.
The operators made sure we stayed safe biking in the city, often stopping traffic and people so that we can ail cross as. A group . The guide was very insightful
This tour was amazing and it exceeded expectations. My wife and I signed up for the tour a few days before our trip to CDMX. The first couple of bicycles they put out for us had some minor issues but we eventually got some bikes that worked. We ended being the only two people taking the tour so we had just one tour guide - Ivan. Ivan was nothing short of amazing. We were a little nervous about riding bikes in CDMX after experiencing some tense moments riding in taxis. But with Ivan leading the way, we felt safe the entire time. Ivan gave us two tour options. We chose the option to the north that focused more on some of the history of CDMX. Ivan was extremely knowledgeable about all of the art we stopped to see. He knew the artists, the history, and answered our questions with ease. When we recognized a library that we were interested in checking out, he offered to watch the bikes so we could go inside and explore. We concluded the tour with lunch at a spot that Ivan was obviously familiar with. It was the best food we had during our stay in CDMX. I wish I could tell you the name / location but I forgot to ask Ivan after we got back to our starting point. The tour was the highlight of our trip. We were tempted to sign up again and take the southern route but we will have to save it for next time. If you’re lucky enough to get Ivan as your guide, you will not be disappointed.
Very sweet boys touring on bikes but with no knowledge at all of the street art being shown. Just biking about really.
This tour was the highlight of our trip to Mexico City. We will be remembering it fondly forever. We took a camera and got incredible photos of so many different locations. Traffic in CDMX seems chaotic from an uber, but it was totally manageable from a bike. Our guide was always aware of us and helped us to feel safe the whole time. We learned so much! The lunch was incredibly delicious. We never would have had any of these amazing experiences without this tour. I can't recommend it enough!
What an amazing way to spend my last few hours in Mexico City. I was travelling for work and had a free morning. ART NACO was a perfect way to see more of the city than I could have on foot, and learning at the history and contemporary social issues through the lens of street art. Ivan was a friendly and knowledgeable guide and Eduardo kept us safe navigating the traffic. We saw some big sites like the Palacio de Bellas Artes and the Zócalo, as well as hidden alleys and local gems. The tour wrapped up with the most delicious food I had my whole trip. Highly recommended!
Eduardo was an excellent tour guide, personable and very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the history of Mexico and art. Bonus: they got us lunch at a local spot, plus Kira the cutest dog ever, joined us for the tour!! 10/10 experience!!
Alberto was an absolutely amazing guide, he was a wealth of information and he made the bike tour a lot of fun.
