Our bike tour of Mexico City was great- such a fun way to see much of the city. Juan was knowledgeable, flexible and a great guide. While most of the biking was through parks and in bike lanes, there is definitely some biking with traffic!

A pleasant, surprising and pleasant experience; The guide is extremely nice.
We had a great time with Antonio. He uses his teaching skills to paint a clear and engaging picture of CDMX history, and makes sure the entire group is involved. Very nice & authentic taco lunch along the way. Highly recommended
It was fascinating! Our tour guide was super nice and friendly, the explanation of Mexico City was super understandable and entertaining! I really had a very good time! I personally recommend 100%
Antonio was a great host, who was very knowledgeable and good company. We all learnt a great deal about Mexico City. Highly recommend.
Fun tour, great guide with knowledge about the area. He shared interesting history lessons and was entertaining throughout! We had a great time!
Nice tour guide with nice places to visit
We recently started a family tradition of taking a bike tour through the emblematic neighborhoods of any new city we visit. It has become one of our favorite ways to get oriented, learn the history and culture of a place, and experience it from a more local perspective. This time, we got especially lucky. Our guide, Antonio, also happens to be a professor of urbanism at a renowned university in Mexico, and his knowledge and passion for the city made the experience exceptional. He was incredibly gracious, engaging, and generous with his insights. We rode through beautiful areas including Polanco, Condesa, and Bosque de Chapultepec, learned so much about the city’s history and development, and even stopped for coconut water 🥥 and some absolutely delicious tacos along the way. This is so far one of the highlights of our trip to Mexico City. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, active, and memorable way to experience the city. Thank you, Antonio, for such a wonderful day! 🚲🇲🇽
We had a great time on this fun and informative tour. Multiple stops along the way with food and drinks all included in the tour price. Antonio (the owner) was our guide. He is a city planning professor at the local university and was very engaging and knowledgeable. We went on a Sunday when the parks and major streets are closed to auto traffic. Very flat cycling and lots of breaks to talk about the surroundings and history. Highly recommended!
We had an great expierence touring CDMX by bike. The tour takes you to a diversity of area’s that this city has to offer. We were lucky enough to have a private tour, which made it possible to have a tailored experience through the city. Would surely recommend!
Very educational. Nice experience to bike ride through park, try Mexican chocolate, best tacos and learn about the city.
Antonio is a fabulous guide!! He showed us parts of the ciudad that we would have never found on our own. He shared so much about the city’s history and brought us to a variety of local food makers - we tasted chocolate, tacos and had a sorbet and wine pairing. Highly recommend!
Amazing bike tour and great guides. We did it with 2 families and kids 7,11,13 and 15 years old. They took very good care of us, we had 4 guides with us and discovered local food as well. A great way to discover the city with kids!
Amazing experience! I never would have imagined such cultural richness, nothing to see. on lonque ino lee de mexico... Antonio (Our guide) is wonderful, we learned a lot and the surprises didn't stop throughout the entire tour
Super fun and way worth the money! We toured the park, pretty neighborhoods, the main city square and had a taste at the chocolate museum amd a stop at a fantastic taco spot. We covered about 10 or 11 miles, so be prepared. We're from Colorado sonthe altitude didnt either us.
It was a very nice bike tour. Educational as well about the city, very nice to see beautiful streets, food and drinks
Thank you Antonio for the amazing tour of the city. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see different aspects of the city. Antonio is very knowledgeable about the history of CDMX, the development of megacities, architecture and much more. In just 4 hours you will see different neighbourhoods, try local dishes, learn about the city and have a lot of fun! 🤩
5 stars Our Mexico City bike tour was an unforgettable experience! Our guide, Juan, was truly outstanding. He was incredibly friendly, passionate, and shared so many interesting facts about the city's history and culture. He kept us entertained and safe the entire time. The pace was perfect, and we got to see so many amazing sights we would have missed otherwise. Thank you, Juan, for a wonderful afternoon. We can't wait to book another tour with you the next time we are in Mexico City!
Loved this tour! Antonio was easy to communicate with before the tour. We were just two couples biking with Juan - it was such a treat getting to know them! Juan started us off with the history of Tenochtitlan in Lake Texcoco and there was lots more. We biked lots in Chapultepec park, the gondola ride offered a great views of the city. Tacos Don Juan were so dee-licious! And biked so many Colonias in between. Great tour to experience CDMX. We recommend it to anyone visiting the city! Thanks Antonio & Juan.
Bikes are a great way to get around CDMX. Chapultepec park is so large that I don't think you can see much of it unless you are on a bike. I enjoyed the tour, but here are things I wish I had thought of before: 1. Review using gears on a bike. I had not ridden anything other than a stationary bike for years and should have reviewed how to change gears using the levers on the handle bars since the route climbs a steep overpass right away. 2. Locals are very good at navigating the traffic in CDMX. I read a review that said they lost the guide a few times in crowded areas. I also experienced that because there were times that the guide rode into traffic that I was not comfortable entering, so we were separated while I waited for traffic gaps I was more comfortable with. 3. There are many people in CDMX who do not welcome people from other countries due to gentrification of the city. That was a persistent theme in the tour.
This was my second time back to Mexico City and my second time taking this tour! It was one of the most memorable things from my first trip so I knew when I went back with my best friend that I wanted her to experience it as well. We were the only two people riding with Juan. We got an amazing overview of the city’s history and culture, with an emphasis on environmental sustainability. The degustation at the chocolate museum was better than I remembered! Would recommend to anyone visiting the city.
The tour was brilliant. Antonio looked after us so well. The info provided was easy to take in and we felt really safe cycling round Mexico City. My teens (14 & 17) loved it too and said it was one of the highlights of our three week trip! The trip on the cable car was also great as part of the trip and the tacos topped it off :)
We had fun except that our 7 year old couldn't actually participate. There were only 2 types of bikes. It says 7y is ok, but he could not reach the handle bars, way bigger than his bike at home. So he & his dad spent the entire 4hr tour riding in car with other guide, stopped at a play ground, waited for us. Shame! Didn't get a refund. Note: goes to famous taco stand, in case you don't want to go twice- some had that experience. The tour started out as i expected- bike in park, some historic lesson. But then was surprised we went on a 2 way cable car ride!? Then more biking, including in streets only some of which had bike lane (in case that bothers you, or for kids). Ate around 3p.
Antonio and his son Camilo provided a fun, high engagement multi modal day of biking, cable car overlooking the city, and tacos at a local joint in Condesa. Would suggest doing on a Sunday when the Reforma is partially closed off to traffic as the route can then include a fun portion devoid of any car traffic. Antonio’s background as a landscape architect and professor lends an interesting lens to view the city and urban planning.
Good: Tour guide was nice and we had a long ride through different spots in the city. Chocolate museum was a nice surprise. Bad: We had 3 stops in which we actuallly discussed the history of the places we were at. Went through some streets and cut through traffic that was sketchy/scary, would have loved a helmet. Much more of a bike ride than a bike tour.
We booked this tour for the first day of our stay in Mexico City and it didn’t disappoint. Antonio and Juan were phenomenal and had so much to share about the city. It was a highlight of our trip!
We met Antonio about a 15 minute walk from our hotel, hoped on well-maintained bikes, and leisurely rode through Chapultepec Park and a few Mexico City neighborhoods. Antoni was friendly and very knowledgeable about Mexico's history. As we rode through the park and admired the many buildings and monuments, he walked us through Mexico's history, from the Aztecs to modern Mexico. We stopped at a chocolate museum and had a delicious lunch of Mexican food at an open marked. Next time I come to Mexico City, I'll probably take the same tour and hope to get Antonio.
Probably the most high yield tour of our trip. Juan was a great guide to our tiny group of two, both for sightseeing (Chapultepec park is so charming!) and getting us accustomed to cycling in CDMX. Given the traffic here, cycling is the most efficient way to get around town. We were much more confident getting around on our ecobicis after Juan showed us the way.
Amazing day! Juan was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly…. Made it seem so easy gliding around Mexico City on bikes. The city is perfect for the ride and an absolute must if you have time. We were able to see so many different neighborhoods by doing this tour! Really highly recommend! Great lunch spot too!
Antonio was a great guide. He has an in depth knowledge of the city, history and and current issues in Mexico. Great tour and fun riding bikes. Highly recommended
Antonio was a knowledgeable guide. I appreciated the history he shared. I'm an experienced biker, and he was at times a bit tricky to follow in crowded areas. He chose a great route. We stayed a week after this tour and did most of our transit with the city rentals ecobici. Fantastic way to get around
The bike tour that we had with Antonio was the perfect way to kick off our week in CDMX and was one of the highlights of an amazing week. We rode through Parque de Chapultepec, stopping along the way to learn about the history of Tenochtitlan, visit Los Pinos, and other major monuments before cruising through various neighborhoods, with stops for a delicious chocolate tasting, and outstanding quesadillas. Along the way, we chatted about everything from renewable energy to politics to cross cultural exchanges—it was so enlightening and enjoyable and I simply can’t recommend it enough! 😀👌🏻🤙🏻
We had a wonderful few hours with Antonio, cycling around Coyoacán, He is a very knowledgeable, passionate and engaging person. This made for a wonderful ride around the area. We would never have learned a quarter of what we did, if we attempted to do the cycle on our own. Spending time, chatting to him over our coffee break and learning about the culture and history of the Mexican people, was one of the highlights of the trip! Thanks again, Antonio!
This experience was a surprise favorite of our experience in Mexico City on our honeymoon! Mexico City is SO bike friendly, which I did not know. This tour made us want to bike everywhere! Antonio was amazing as our guide and so knowledgeable of the city’s history. I appreciated all he taught us and the conversation throughout the experience.
We rode on a Sunday which is the day the big avenues are closed to vehicle traffic. This was so much fun! And ended up being one of the highlights of our entire trip! We enjoyed being out with so many of the locals who were jogging, biking, strolling their babies. The tour owner is a professor at the university and was so knowledgeable about the architecture which is his expertise but he also knew so much about the history of Mexico City. He gave us the best history lesson using a chalk illustration on the pavement. This tour offers a great way to see the city. The food stop and chocolate tasting were also wonderful.
Echoing all past reviews…this was a great tour! Antonio was knowledgable, friendly, and catered the tour to what we were looking for (which was a complete introduction to Mexico City). We loved the history lesson, authentic lunch, and the bike ride through the parks and boulevards - he even snapped a few pictures for us. A great value for the money (lunch & a trip to taste chocolate) and would highly recommend to anyone!
I booked a tour at the last minute for myself and for my 8-year-old son; Antonio was super accommodating about including us in a group tour. He speaks excellent English and is so knowledgeable about the history, architecture and culture of the city. We loved biking through beautiful parks and tree-lined neighborhoods and stopping at the Museum of Chocolate, in particular. I highly recommend this tour. It's a great way to get a feel of some of Mexico City's lovely neighborhoods in an interactive, safe, and fun way.
The moment I booked and PAID for the tour, I was told my guest and I were not allowed as the tour was full. Antonio was supposed to be my guide and honestly kept good communication despite the fact I paid for a tour I was not allowed to go on. I paid $2544 and was then refunded via PayPal (I paid via cc). I was only refunded $1905. I was then told PayPal takes commissions and the peso was stronger then when I booked. I booked 72 hours before my refund. When anyone pays for a service and does not receive the service at the behest of the provider, they are refunded in full. Not partial. Book with the bigger companies like Viator or Get Your Guide. 0/10
We spent a week touring Mexico City and surrounding area and this by far was our most favorite thing of all. Antonio (an University professor) was fabulous. We (6 of us) all LOVED his explanation of the history of Mexico. It was concise and so understandable. The bike ride was great and covered so much of the West side of the city. We biked about 9 miles. We stopped at the chocolate museum to sample different chocolate treats, saw culinary students crushing cocoa beans, and ended with some great tasting Mexican food. If you can do this I would consider it a must do. We did a walking tour of the historic center first which gave us a beginning of the history of Mexico City and his explanation tied so much of it together for us.
We rounded out our trip to Mexico City with a unique, four-hour, multi-neighborhood architecture tour with Antonio. We also tasted chocolate at the Chocolate Museum and ate tacos at a local spot. As we biked, any questions we had were answered thoughtfully and thoroughly. The weather was perfect, the bike was well-maintained and easy to ride-- and the company was exceptional. Our bike tour was a memorable experience for us. If you are working in Mexico City or only visiting for a short period-- and also want to make sure you include a cultural experience within your time in CDMX, this tour is the perfect way to see some of the sights and learn about the city while you're here. I would also recommend doing this tour on Day 1 of your stay.
This is the best way to experience the city. The guide is very knowledgeable and gives you a sense of the urban infrastructure and explains important points of interests along the way. There are many bike paths, beautiful lush parks, and the ride is mostly flat. This tour is a great idea at the start of your visit so that you can get a good orientation of the city. The owner of the tour does a superlative job. Highly recommend. La mejor introducción a la ciudad de México!
We had a brilliant time. Antonio was a wonderful, thought provoking and knowledgeable guide. We did the food tour on a Sunday - top tip if you can go on Sunday when the roads are closed, it's transformative.
Turned up with little expectation. The tour was great and our host (professor) was super interesting and took us through the making of MC through the years. Stopped at a amazing chocolate shop for tasting and this was followed by lunch. We were shown the making of tortillas and then ate some amazing quesadillas and tostadas. The bike ride was flat and an easy ride. You don't need to be a seasoned bike rider. A great way to see some great places in MC. Would thoroughly recommend, great tour and great value as well.
This was a really great, educational tour, led by Antonio who is an urban studies professor/lecturer at a local university. We really enjoyed the pace, exploration of the beautiful laneways of Coyoacan and learning about the development and evolution of Mexico City from both an environmental and cultural perspective. Our tour took place on La Candelaria and the annual tamales day… Antonio treated us to some amazing tamales at one of the local cultural centres that we also visited. The tour was well worth it.
This was a truly exceptional tour led by Antonio Suarez, whose day job is a lecturer at the University of Mexico on Mobility and Urban Design. His English is perfect and he is an engaging, informative and entertaining tour guide. He took us through Chapultepec Park and some of the surrounding neighbourhoods, pointing out various architectural and urban planning features that we would otherwise have missed. Most memorably, he described the history of Mexico City’s urban development in particular noting the role that water (and more recently water scarcity) has played in the city’s development. An unforgettable and highly recommended tour.
My boyfriend and I went on a private bike tour with Antonio on a Sunday which was our first full day in CDMX. I highly recommend doing a tour on Sunday if possible because they close down La Reforma to cars. We had the best time on our tour, it was the perfect introduction to the city and were able to get a lot of history and great recommendations from Antonio. He knows so much about the history, architecture, and things that are changing in CDMX. We have been on many bike tours in so many different cities and this was one our favorites. Antonio was so relaxed yet informative, it felt like we were hanging out with an old friend. The pace of the tour was perfect, we got to see so many things but never felt rushed. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mexico City.
Our guide was so knowledgeable and excellent. I never bike normally in life and this was the perfect way to get oriented and get my bearings. Highly recommend.
Excellent Sunday! Beautiful weather, great bikes and an excellent host! We had a great time with Antonio, who told us a lot of interesting things about Mexico City. Showed us the beauty of this green capital. Chocolate tasting, lunch with great taco’s, a bottle of water on the go. I will come back for one af the otter tours! Thank you so much for a wonderful day Antonio!
The best thing we did in Mexico City was this bike tour! The guide was fantastic giving great information, easy to follow routes through the city with ease. Yummy stop at chocolate museum and taco shop. We enjoyed meeting the others in the group which made the experience even more fun. We highly recommend without any complaints!
Great tour, both with Antonio or with Marco. They are very friendly, flexible and it’s a great way to see the city. Highly recommendable.
