Great! Most importantly, they delivered with great ringside (second row) seats. That was what the whole tour was about. Otherwise, tacos, tequila, Mezcal boxes were all checked. Guide was Paco (like Taco, but with a P). He did a good job keeping everyone together. The guide Maryanne (I’m sure I’m not getting the accent right) was funny and really cool.

My partner and I booked the VIP option. The experience started at their meet spot where they pumped us up with some Pulque and a passionate lesson of what to expect at the Lucha Libre Event. The next stop was at a local restaurant for tacos and a short guided walk to a mercado for a Tequila, Mezcal, Chapulines tasting. The last stop of this experience was at Lucha Libre Arena where the energy was electrifying and could not help ourselves but to put our showboating training from earlier into practice. Our guides, Angel and Ernesto, were super passionate which added a layer of excitement. This is must do experience when visiting Mexico.
Awesomely unique experience- a must do when you’re in Mexico City. Highly recommend VIP Experience
Mariana and Jonathan are the best guides ever :) We went on the Sunday tour and we were non stop laughing as soon as the tour started. The tacos were quite average- there’s defo better places in CDMX but it was a good opportunity to chat to everyone on the tour. We then moved on to a market for mezcal tasting and some people tried scorpions. Then for the wrestling itself we had really good seats and loved watching the chaos unfold. It’s definitely a must do activity in Mexico City whether you are a wrestling fan or not. My favourite bit of the tour though was myself and my husband ended up going for drinks after with Mariana and Jonathan. There’s a cool street food market opposite where you can get wrestling themed cocktails and it turns into a party with lots of dancing. This should defo be a tour add on as it’s a shame that the other people on our tour didn’t get chance to experience this
Lucha libre was great! Our tour guide was also great, very funny and kind. However, we had to take public transportation and let me tell you it was CHAOS! When I tell you you're jammed packed, you're jammed packed and then to get out is a battle field. Everyone is trying to come in so you literally have to fight your way out. I even fell on my way out because of how chaotic it was. For the price we paid. I definitely expected better. Recommend the lucha libre, but not the package.
Scam, they charge lots of money for regular grades tickets faraway from the ring and is not at the Arena Mexico, is at the coliseum that is so much cheaper and the transportation was in bus colectivo publico, the taste of drinks is in the local market that stinks bad ...the only nice thing was the mascara.. then the rest didn't make the $90 fls i paid per person. So disappointed!
Rene was incredible and one I would highly recommend l!!!
Great tour from Alvaro and Alexa!
This experience is very funny. The explein Is very good.
Went to see a show at the Arena on a SA. Had supper about 5pm in the 'food court'. Not as cheap as a mall food court but okay and we enjoyed our food. Doors open at 7pm for the 8pm show, but they don't let you into the concert area until around 7:30. No seating anywhere while you wait. Seats are okay, but stairs difficult for those with leg issues. Would be nicer if the large screen cameras focused in closer and more frequently. Parking deck signs could be better showing you the way out/down to leave. At least all the parking is free. No shopping to speak of and very little seating in the main resort area
Tour started out fun. Met at a hostel where we were introduced to our energetic and fun guide Daniel. Walked over to the exotic foods mart where we did our tequila tasting. So far so good. The problem arose at Luche Libre. Our guide, Daniel, was not allowed in by security. Even though one of our group asked him to at least give us the tickets so we could get into the arena he did not and we were left in the lobby without any way to get in. Security eventually kicked us out, but not before receiving an email apologizing and telling us we would have to repurchase tickets on our own if we wanted to get in. Have not yet heard about a refund for our Luche libre tickets.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Do not book! MAJOR SCAM! Not all inclusive couldn’t even go and watch the lucha libre 😡😡😡 I hope to be contacted as told I would be !! TERRIBLE STAY AWAY!!!
I had an amazing experience with Jonathan and Jared (hope I am spelling both names correctly)! The price was very reasonable, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Our two guides were absolutely fantastic-very knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly charismatic. They kept the group engaged the whole time and had us laughing with their great sense of humor. You could really tell they were passionate about what they do. Overall, everything was well organized and so much fun. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for something memorable!
An amazing fun night. The guides are great and friendly!
Aleksa was awesome! You should totally try the whole experience!
Jona was awesome. After the tacos, tequila/mezcal and lucha libre, he asked what we wanted to do. One person in our group wanted to go dancing and Jona selected a great location and we all had a blast.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and was very engaging with all of the guests. He was safety focused to ensure everyone felt safe.
Our tour guides, Daniel and Jonah, made this experience so much fun! We started off at the Amigo Tours meet up spot where they explained to us the evenings itinerary. We then headed to Taqueria Los Cocuyos for some of the best tacos in Mexico City- even with our party of 38 guests Daniel and Jonah helped us with the menu and made sure everyone got their orders! We then headed to the market for mezcal and tequila tasting and finally ended the night at Arena Mexico for Lucha Libre. The whole tour was so seamless thanks to Daniel and Jonah - not only did they safely navigate us through the busy streets of CDMX, but they also kept us very well entertained between activities! Huge thanks to both Daniel and Jonah for making this walking tour such an enjoyable time!
100% recommend. Lucha Libre is definitely an experience you don’t want to miss while in Mexico City. Our guide Daniel was the best!
Daniel was such a fun and knowledgeable guide! Luce Libre was an awesome once in a lifetime experience. It's a no brainer, do it!
Daniel our guide was great. He explained how everything works and made sure everyone in the group was looked after. I would recommend him.
We were late for the show. Had to rush through our dinner to get the bus to the arena. Had the worst seats in the arena - where you had to hunch forward to get a look of the wrestlers. Most of the group left while during the show because of how horrible the seating was. Not worth the price.
This was a great experience. We had a ton of fun, the guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was yummy. The seating tickets were too far up though so we ended up purchasing closer seats on our own but that was fine.
With the number of tour options tied to Lucha Libre shows I am SO glad I decided on this one after much last-minute research. It meets earlier (5pm) than other ones despite the actual show not until 8:30pm but that factors in about 2 hours spent in Plaza Garibaldi home of all things mariachi. Capacity was fitting at max 30 people, although my group that evening was 18. The tour is run bilingual which I found special. As one of only a handful of English-speakers that night, it was a fun experience to immerse within a group of Spanish-speaking attendees, and our guide (Adara) was fantastic with accommodating all of us, and flipping between languages. She was such a great soul, with a good spirit/energy about her...and I will always remember her kindness towards me as a solo traveler. We kicked off the night walking to Plaza Garibaldi where we had our complimentary drink (choice of 2 shots or mixed cocktail, Cantarito) then decided whether we wanted to eat, drink more, explore...before our pickup to Arena Mexico for that Friday night show. The mariachi performances were wonderful- another highlight for me was seeing my group know of traditional mariachi songs when it came time to request. The bus that transported us to the venue was more luxe than I expected! Comfortable transport and overall elevated the experience. Door-to-door service, while Adara hyped up the crowd by playing some music and telling us what to expect upon arrival. Things got a little hectic at entry, but we all had our tickets in hand from her, and she helped guide all of us to our seating area. Note these were 'nosebleed' seats in the very top level...but I was convinced that gave the most exciting vantage point in terms of soaking it all in. From there, it was up to each of us how long we wanted to stay. And oh what entertainment this night provided. An experience I won't soon forget, and recommend to everyone. Thank you Amigo Tours for rounding out my experience in Mexico City, and a special shout out to Adara, who was truly wonderful.

Alicia Cerrillo was an amazing tour guide. Friendly, gracious, fun!!! She is so welcoming and made us feel like family. Thank you Alicia for a wonderful and unforgettable experience!!! We will definitely come back and book again with Amigo Tours!!!
Alicia was an amazing tour guide! We had so much fun at the restaurant and the lucha libre show. Would recommend!
We were two families. We had a good time and the wrestling was a really fun and interesting experience. Our guide Alicia was very nice and I would recommend her for any guided tour. However this particular tour (we have done a few this week in México City) was pricey for what you get. We sat down at a cafe for a drink, then went to the wrestling. That's it. Also no food was provided and there were no good options to eat. It was nice to have transportation and the wrestling stadium can be a bit overwhelming with the crowd, but if you're just a little adventurous you can easily do it on your own. Bottom line, our guide was great but I would not recommend this particular tour.
The tour guide is very nice. However, couple things didn’t go well. 1. We were asked to be at the meeting place at 4:45, but the guide didn’t show up until much later, I think 5:10 or later. 2. The music and drinks ended by 6pm, but our driver’s pickup time was 7pm, so we waited an hour idly just chatting and ordering more drinks of our own money. 3. We were told the show started at 7:30, but we waited an hour inside the stadium until the show started. It apparently starts at 8:30pm on Fridays, 4. The seats were very high up bad seats. If the seats were going to be so poor, it would have been helpful to have the option to pay more for seats on the lower levels. 5. We were told the show would last from an hour to an hour and a half. It ended up going over 2 hours and 10 minutes. So overall, the event was 5pm-11:30pm by the time we were taken back to the hotel, when it could have been organized better.
Great fun, Good drinks, good music, fun experience at the show. The hosts were good fun. Defo would recommend
Communication with the guide was very easy and we had no problem meeting her at the beginning of the tour, plus the detail of giving us a wrestler mask was very fun. This experience was seriously fun, our guide from the first moment had a lot of energy and helped us to enjoy the visits we did more. He explained to us the importance of mariachi in the country and his emotion was very natural and with good reason. Listening to the melodies live in the square and seeing how many people gather to enjoy the show is very nice. The fights are very entertaining and we never think that it is almost a therapy that de-stresses you due to the adrenaline you feel because the fight and the spectators catch you. There are even typical things that are done at the event and our guide was explaining why. This tour has been one of my favorites, it was something very traditional and exciting.
Loved our guide (whose name unfortunately I didn’t get!) who was very enthusiastic, gave us a tour of the streets that were on the way to the luchas and many shots of tequila! The fights were awesome, something I had never watxhed before but got me hooked immediately!
Our pick up point was wrong, we were walked over a mile to a different pick up point which was then late, no sights were seen on the way to Arena and when we asked, were rudely told he wanted to explain his passion for Lucha Libra. He embarrased a man who fell asleep on the bus because he would not speak in English except for one minute and then go back to Spanish. A couple from England called an Uber to the Arena and left. We had to ask for masks and then as we are standing in the rain afterward (not his fault) he starting smoking which I disdain. Lastly we were left at a drop off point where we did not board in the middle of the night...for gosh sakes, we're in our 70's! This is crazy awful!
Fun outing, the best part is the tequila
The tour was very fun; Mariana is great and very attentive. The tacos were good, the stop to taste the tequila and mezcal was fine, and the wrestling was a spectacle. Thank you, Mariana!
Very good intention, good explanations, and very attentive guides
The experience started very well, we had the activity all inclusive, we had some drinks and we had a guided tour, however, when we arrived at the arena we were left lying without the ballots. They didn’t show their faces or explain what was happening, we had a very hard time. We had to buy our ballots on site and ask the vendors to disburse the ballot money... we are still waiting for that money back.
Daniel, our guide, was a very pleasant person and it was a fun tour. I was grateful to Daniel for guiding me along the way to the arena, caring about all of them. The professional wrestling show was interesting and exciting with everyone else. Watching professional wrestlers being knocked down in unison was a sight to behold. I think the tour included sightseeing in the historical district, but there was no sightseeing in the historical district, which was a bit disappointing. Instead, I was able to enjoy tequila and mezcal at the market, which was great. We had a very meaningful time. Thank you very much.
Very good family experience on all inclusive tour... we are from Chile and it is a super recommended tour for those who watched on television wrestling. Alvaro our super friendly guide, concerned to give us the best experience, friendly and very knowledgeable... a wonder, super recommended.
Wrestling in Mexico is an experience that every foreigner should live at least once. Tacos, mezcal and tequila, along with Daniel’s guide — attentive, fun and with an incredible knowledge of Mexican culture — made this night truly unforgettable
Excellent tour, I had a lot of fun from the beginning, with the company of Alex Moreno and Daniel, it was a lot of fun, with the tasting of tequila and mezcal, prepare you for the real excitement of the fights I definitely recommend this tour with Amigo Tours
Very punctual waiting where they tell you. Garibaldi in refurbishment ; they lend the bathroom in one of the ballrooms what are there, half dreary. I hope it's only while the remodeling. The guide very attentive and helpful. They take you to the arena Mexico to watch the fights, but they don't return you. If you choose the "full experience" package you are given the mask, to choose from those brought by the guide. You fight them very well, you get completely immersed in the Mood and more if you like those kinds of shows. I recommend it, but they should return customers minimum to the departure point.
The attention we were given was excellent, very instructive and dynamic, our guide was Alexa and gave us a great time very entertaining and we had a very good time.
Very good experience, Alexia excellent guide, was beyond my expectations, very fun the tour. Super recommend.
You start with a tour from the meeting point, Palacio de Bellas Artes, by the way very beautiful; we continue walking to Plaza Garibaldi where we drank a couple of shots of mezcal or tequila (according to your choice) and listened to a couple of Mexican mariachi songs. Finally, we were transported by vehicle to the venue of the fight show and provided with a fighter mask to live the experience to the fullest! The guide was very funny, as well as explaining the cultural of each point we visited. I chose the option that includes shots and mask. To take a fun and relaxing day, this tour is the option!!
Excellent night spent at the fighting event, with a lot of energy. We visited one of the most famous places the city has and enjoyed what really makes it so iconic and popular, it was a very good choice. The afternoon in Garibaldi with mariachis was also one of my favorite parts of the tour.
I had a great time and the host of the trip Julio knows a lot about wrestling and teaches you how it has been evolving and how it also works, a very friendly and friendly person! I would buy this Service again. 10/10
