I seriously can't recognize this highly enough! This isn't a ghost tour, to be clear, though Jorge does tell you one at the end (if you want) that's a bit chilling. This is a great mix of stories: some facts, some legends -- all of which he's researched thoroughly on his own. And maybe because of that, it's just so clear that he loves the material. Plus, he's a born storyteller. And the price is great -- especially for a private tour. Honestly, when I booked the tour, the price was so low that I thought I had to be misunderstanding "private." So I showed up expecting a group, but no, it was just my friend and myself. Also great is that he's happy to stop and give you a little time to take pictures or to duck into a cathedral he's just told you a cool story about. Plus, having it at night was great. Not just for the ambience, but because most museums/tourist spots close at 5 p.m. here. Since most tours are in the day, you generally have to choose between doing that and ticking off a museum, a palace, etc. With this tour, you can go somewhere to take in the sights, leave at 5, grab a bite to eat (or take in Centro Historico in general), then meet Jorge at Bellas Artes without rushing. Seriously, don't hesitate -- buy the tickets!

My partner and I love to do ghost tours since she loves the paranormal and I love the history. Jorge's tour gave us both and really was my favorite that we have done together as a couple. We mostly did it in Spanish, but Jorge would pause when he could tell I didn't know a word or concept. He was a professor and that emotional intelligence shows. Since it was just us, he could tailor it more about our common interests and where his knowledge of Mexican and world history matched our own interest. He was also open to our own stories and anecdotes, which really made it a conversation as much as a guided tour. Highly recommend!

It was quite an entertaining experience, legends that leave you reflecting and a very enjoyable night; undoubtedly the legends could be felt in every place where they were narrated. The city itself is beautiful at night and with these legends they highlighted the stories that have developed in our country for years. In particular the legend that intrigued me a lot was that of the incendiary nun, if the title sounds interesting, the story is even more so.

All the legends are very interesting and teach us many things that we did not know I highly recommend and a tip for tourists to wear tennis and a camera to capture images as the city is beautiful at night.
