Stop At: Mexico City 4:30am - Here we will pick you up at your lodging if you chose that option, in Mexico City, we will travel to the magical town of Teotihuacan where our balloonport is located.
Stop At: San Juan Teotihuacan 5:30am - We will arrive in Teotihuacan, at the takeoff area, here we will welcome you with a coffe break, while everything is prepared for your flight.
6 :00 - 6 :30am - It's takeoff time, we'll fly over a hot air balloon with a duration of approximately 35 to 45min at an altitude of approximately 10,000ft.
It is important to remember that the direction of the balloon depends on the wind, but 90% of the time we fly over the archaeological zone.
7:30am - Upon landing the traditional sparkling wine toast will be performed, an ancient ceremony with the pilot, then we will hand over your flight certificate.
Stop At: Admission Ticket:
Tickets are included 8:00am - At the end of your flight we will take a few minutes where you will see your photographic material and drone videos.
8:10am - We will move to the Restaurant La Cueva, a restaurant within a 100% natural grotto, a unique experience in the world.
Stop At: 9:15am - We will visit a cooperative of artisans, where we will have workshops of obsidian and maguey taught by expert guides in the area, you will learn about Teotihuacan culture, and you will also enjoy a tasting of different typical drinks made in Teotihuacan.
Stop At: Zona Arqueologica De Teotihuacan Admission Ticket:
Tickets are not included 10 : 00am - Once we finish the tasting we will move to the archaeological zone, where we will have up to 2 hours to tour it if you wish, it is important to remember that it is a shared tour, so the time will depend on all travelers.
The archaeological zone ticket is not included.
11 : 00 - 12 : 00am - It is time to return to Mexico City and finish the adventure.
Stop At: Mexico City - All times are approximate and may vary depending on the weather and logistics of the day.
- It is important to consider that it is a tour and all activities must be completed, if you wish to finish the tour earlier, you must return by your means.
- The restaurant La Cueva has specific hours so we could wait up to 40 minutes. It all depends on the logistics of the day.

Had a great experience on this amazing hot air balloon tour. Everything is well organised and we were picked up from the hotel promptly and everything went smoothly. The hot air balloon ride was stunning! Cannot be missed if you’re travelling to Mexico City. It also included a hearty breakfast in a natural cave, the portions were large and lots of free coffee and snacks available throughout the experience. Absolutely 100% recommend! We had a great tour guide called Carlos who made everything extra special. Not to be missed!
The hot air balloon experience itself was great, but the photo package was a disappointing experience. We paid MX$800 for the photos and were told they would be sent through a link within a few hours. Several days have passed, and we still haven’t received anything. We’ve also tried reaching out through their official WhatsApp number three times, but our messages have been ignored.
If you decide to purchase the photo package, I recommend asking them to send you the photos before you leave. Otherwise, you risk paying for something you may never receive.

Carlos took well care of our group. Pick up was on time, activity well managed. Loved the hot air ballon ride it’s truly magic. Only thing I was not into is more the end of the excursion which is a bit of a tourist trap with the mezcal tasting cause it’s actually a store they bring you in.
The entire experience was worth every penny! I loved the hot air balloon and learning about the Obsidian afterwards. The tour guide Carlos was amazing!
