It sure was worth it. Our tour guide Alejandra was very charming and knowledgeable, or driver. Lalo was super sweet and very chatty. Both of them made us feel welcome. Alejandra was too kind by waiting for people who were running late, if I would’ve been in charge of the tour, I would’ve left them. My only thing would be to make sure to warn the tourist about the possibility of getting stuck inside the cemetery. Once you’re in there, there’s no control or how many people go in and it gets overwhelmingly crowded. But the trip was absolutely everything it promised to be. Once in a lifetime experience.

The 3-part tour was an early start off to the day with breathtaking views of the valley and Pyramids. The Balloon Captain made the flight top class rotating the balloon so all had plenty of opportunities to take pictures of the pyramids with different heights and angles. Our tour guide was bubbly, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Breakfast was delicious with breads, fruits, and 1 choice of a main. Great experience!

The host or organizer decided to message me and let me know that they are refunding our tickets due to high winds. To be specific, they decided there was a chance of high winds. At the time there was no indication that there was high winds whatsoever, furthermore when we woke up because we were already planning on waking up at that time because the organizer decided to message us only a couple of hours maybe four or five before the actual trip was supposed to be there was indeed very little wind. I took a screenshot of this and sent it to the organizer to request, they still went through with the trip and they decided not to . what was very unfortunate about this is that rebooking a comparable event on a busy weekend like this one was not possible whatsoever. Thanks to this host. Our trip to Mexico to do something we have always wanted to do in our lives… Ruined.

Luis and alejandra were amazing to us, took us to the best places, the hot air balloon ride was exquisite and the breakfast in the cave was magnificent. The mezcal tasting after was a cherry on top and the walk along the pyramids helped us burn those calories! Highly recommend them

Amazing experience that is a must do for your visit to Mexico City! Our guide Alejandra was wonderful and helpful in learning about the temples. Our driver Luis was ready to pick us up from each stop on time and kept our bags safe. The air balloon ride was unbelievable, 10/10. Would 100% recommend!

Check in for the hot air balloons was super easy with our host Mar and her supporting team, and they had refreshments available while we waited to leave to the take-off site. The hot air balloon ride itself was so cool, and our pilot Abraham was very kind, he even turned our balloon at one point to get the pyramids in the background of pictures we were taking. The whole experience is very efficient, 10/10 would recommend :)

Mar was a great host, she was very helpful since the moment we arrived. The waiting area included coffee and restrooms were clean. Transportation was quick and it was a smooth balloon ride, we got awesome pictures and video. Highly recommended.

Well-organized and a great experience! Communication beforehand was excellent, and the pickup was right on time. Everything went smoothly, and the balloon ride was amazing!

We booked the hot air balloon over Teotihuacan and it included breakfast and extras. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and the balloons didn't fly, which was the main reason we booked. I realize balloon rides are weather dependent, but it's worth going in prepared for that possibility. To their credit, the company handled the cancellation fairly. They offered a 60% refund since we continued with the rest of the tour, or 80% if we left. The catch is that leaving means getting your own ride back, and I'm not sure you can easily get an Uber that far outside the city. We had plans later in the day and only wanted the balloon, but ended up staying with the group. That's the other thing to know: if you choose pickup, you'll be in a van with about 12 other people, and that becomes your group for the day. If plans change, you go along with the group whether you want to or not, or figure out your own transportation back. The rest of the day: • Cave breakfast: Unique setting, but the listing mentioned dancing and there were no performers. • Liquor stop: A short talk on Mexican spirits, mostly to encourage gift shop purchases. • Pyramids: Small extra fee and absolutely worth it if you're already out there. However, you only get about an hour, which isn't much time to explore the pyramids and browse the vendors. Overall, a good way to see the area if the balloons fly. If they don't, be ready to spend the full day with the group or arrange your own transportation back.

I would say it was worth the money 100% recommend to do once in your life. It’s a little packed but the views make up for it. The guiders have been nothing but nice and helpful especially Mar. Would do it again!!!

Cielo Azteca was one of the best memories of this year’s trip to Mexico City. The gentleman Eduardo G. went above and beyond to help me find my wallet which I missed placed. I had given up hope finding it and the next day he reached out and found it with everything still inside. He back tracked all of the days events and he even brought it to my location the following day. He went to the take off location, landing location, where we stopped to eat and walk the pyramids. Grateful for all his team’s help. We are planning on returning with more family within the next few months and we are going hot air ballooning again.
