Amazing! Everything went smooth, the scenery was out of this world, you get so close to the Sol pyramid that you might want to cry out of emotions! Our pilot was so reassuring and fun! 30 minutes were more than enough! Would probably redo it again!

It is very early in the morning but worth it. Fantastic experience, very friendly staff, thought I was going to be nervous but didn’t feel it at all. It was a bit foggy so we had to wait an extra half an hour before going up. Didn’t see much of the ground but the view of all the other balloons around was a beautiful sight.

Be there early to get a ride via van from the company. The process ran quite smoothly and was outstanding, I was surprised to see so many other balloons….so cool!!

This was truly a once in a lifetime experience. The rising sun over the pyramids in a hot air balloon creates a memory not soon forgotten. When booking the breakfast be sure to check in with your travel host to ensure you get it. There are a lot of different tourism agencies trying to engage you with different things and I had to do some investigating for me and my fiance to figure out where the breakfast was that we paid for. It was also a bit confusing figuring out who we were cabbing with to the pyramid site after the hot air balloon ride. The tour we ultimately got sold on was worth it and the team we went with were very gracious. The tour was lead by a company started by two brothers who's family has lived in the area for generations. Their niece, Samara, gave a wonderful tour of the grounds. She was full of knowledge and her family was extremely helpful supporting us with finding an affordable ride back to Mexico City when we had not booked that before hand. It would be great if I could have the name of that tour group so that I can leave a review for them as well. They should give out cards! Overall, great experience.

Included pick up and drop off, coffee, breakfast, a tour to learn about the Teotihuacan people and the pyramids themselves. The views from the balloon are once-in-a-lifetime and well worth the early morning. The tortilla soup at breakfast was the best I'd ever tasted! Overall, a wonderfully, well-organised tour that was well worth the money!

I was a bit hesitant about doing this, but I cannot but recommend it! The experience, from beginning to end, was simply fabulous! The guys from Volar en Globo pick you up (very early for us, given the tour we had booked) and from that moment on they make sure you are comfortable, have fun and feel safe at all times. The flight itself with out pilot (Cesar Omar, I hope I remember his name correctly) was amazing. He had a great way to make us feel confident and safe during the whole flight, and offered us views of Teotihuacán and surrounding areas that are impossible to describe. The company provides transport to and from the site to Mexico City, breakfast, tea and coffee and transport to and from the ruins of Teotihuacán if it's part of your package. They are all great professionals, friendly, ready for you. This is a must, do not think about it, just book it!

We arrived at flight centre at 5:00 am Nov 5. It was foggy on the ground and we told they require 200 meters visibility to fly so we would wait to see if it would clear. They decided to fly but the fog hadn’t lifted much. We ascended through thick clouds for quite some time eventually breaking into clear blue sky’s. We floated around for about half an hour looking at the topside of a fog bank. We then descended bank into the fog bank and landed. At no time did we see the pyramids or landscapes promised in the advertising. We approached manage with a number of other guests but were quickly brushed off. I would also like to mention that upon landing I noticed a number of other outfitters had not taken off.

The balloon ride itself and the transportation from Mexico City to Teotihuacán were perfect and smooth. But pre-excursion communication was poor. Received a WhatsApp message a week before telling me I’d receive detailed instructions 3 days before the trip. Never happened. I had to reach out for instructions, which ate up lots of my sightseeing time. Once everything was set, the trip went smoothly. Beware: after the balloon ride, you are served breakfast and then taken to the pyramids for exploration time. We just called an Uber to take us back to the city. Otherwise you’re spending hours and hours out there. Of course, if you’ve never explored ruins like these, stay and soak up all you can.

Ricardo was an amazing pilot. Kept us informed as the flight went on, very helpful and insightful. He made sure our safety was a priority by explaining every component on the balloon and landing procedures. Our landing was extremely smooth with a nice toast after exiting the basket. Huge shoutout to Ricardo Huerta 10/10 recommended.

Great views, well organized, lovely to get picked up at our Airbnb in La Condesa -- no notes! Wonderful experience. We opted to take the ride back right afterwards for nap, but there was the option to wander around the pyramids for a while before getting a ride back too.

Imagine waking up at 4:15 am, getting picked up by 5 am, and arriving at the site blaring party music at 6 am, only to find out that we aren’t seeing the sunrise. Not only that, the lack of English-speaking staff members made it difficult to understand what we were doing which is extremely odd for a huge tourist attraction that markets itself to English-speaking tourists. Also the lack of communication before, during, and after made it confusing throughout the entire process. Jose Manuel our driver and tour guide was extremely inappropriate. While driving he repeatedly went on his social media accounts scrolling which made us feel unsafe. He then proceeded to tell us at the end of the excursion that our trip back would take 2 to 3 hrs because the road to Mexico City was closed. However, upon our research on Google Maps, there were multiple routes that would only take about an 1hr to 1 hr 30min. When we brought it up to him he tried to explain that he didn’t have a pass to use those tolls, which seems odd for a person whose professional job consists of driving. As we tried to get a signal to grab an Uber ourselves back, he decided to take another route with tolls back to the city. This left a sour impression because it seemed like he didn’t want to pay the tolls to go back and blatantly lied treating us as if we were stupid and would just follow along. The only enjoyable part of the day was to go up on the hot air balloon. Our pilot was great and professional. However, the lack of communication, clarity, and lying doesn’t make me want to recommend this company to anyone. Please do yourself a favor and find a different company. ***UPDATE*** - We booked our excursion through Airbnb and as of now, only 3 days after the experience, they have canceled our reservation, which is incredibly weird and fishy. This also explains why the company only has good reviews on all of there platforms. PLEASE BE AWARE

Our driver was on time to pick us up, which was great! We were welcomed with coffee and warming stations when we arrived (it was cold outside). The coffee and pastries were delicious- a nice treat before our adventure. They told us which balloon we’d be riding, and when the balloons were ready we were guided to the balloon. There was an enthusiastic photographer who made the wait for the balloon a little more fun as she took pictures of individuals and groups in front of the balloon, the basket, and other balloons in the distance. The flight was beautiful- breathtaking sights! Watching the sun come up in the distance while soaring high in the sky was incredible! The landing was impeccable, and the crew was amazing in how quickly they wrapped up the balloon and packed things up! Our whole family was able to enjoy the post-flight toast, and the kids (11-16) thought that was so special. We were invited to view the drone video and all of the photos when we returned to the main area, and then enjoyed a delicious breakfast! Even my picky 11-year old loved it! Overall, it was a great experience for all of us!

We did the inclusive package with flight, transportation, breakfast, and trip to the pyramids. We reached out the day before to get details for our pickup. Victor picked us up right on time and was very kind. All the staff was. If we were unsure what to do, all were happy to help. We were glad we did this experience.

Beautiful experience. All staff were nice, all the music was great which was a nice surprise, and the views were EPIC—one of 50+ balloons at sunset I recommend adding the transportation and photography package for a seamless, no regrets, experience 420am pickup from hotel in Roma, on time, great music, comfy seats for a big van 630am arrival to a cute casita with staff, shop, restrooms, cafe with free coffee and treats *bring a jacket, it’s cold* 7am flight—because we were one of the first of all the companies balloons up in the air, the view looks f back at sunset was gorgeous with balloons. Flew over the pyramids and landed far past them in a field *wear closed toed shoes* 8am breakfast was okay and transportation back immediately followed, with option to stay and go to pyramids Highly recommend this experience. Also consider the birthday flight to toast with other birthday people 🥂

Everything was very organized. It was an unbelievable experience I gave you goosebumps to see the beauty of the Pyramids from high up. Everyone was very kind and helpful. I recommend this 100%.

It's early but the company provides coffee and snacks for a fee. The staff were energized, kind and informative. We had an amazing time and were able to capture beautiful pictures and memories. Highly recommend

Amazing view and great service! Definitely recommend to do this while in Mexico. On the way back you can have a nice walk to the pyramids if you are not fancy to go with the whole group.

You have wronf location of starting point. Practicly nobody speaks english. You get instructions, what to do in spanish. No need, to be there 40 minutes before start. Too many people in a basket on baloon, it was really crowded.

Worth the money, definitely recommended. A must-try experience while visiting Mexico City, this company did a great job with everything.

It was an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They gave us a complimentary ride back to the city or to the pyramids.

We took an uber to the place. Got there too early. Other people didn’t arrive until 6am. It was hard to find an uber back to the city but we eventually got one. The ride was nice. It was total of 30 mins.

This was an amazing experIence! Being able to see Teotihuacán from above is so special. It is well worth the money! The service was excellent as well. We were surprised that the breakfast afterwards was good too.

I choose this company volar en globo because it was the cheapest price I could find, despite it having the lowest reviews. But most people were complaining about being stuck there for lunch. We had a rental car so I knew that wouldn't be a problem. And I'm glad I did! This was a great experience and every one was very helpful and friendly and professional. Highly recommend this and the views were amazing!

What an amazing experience. The tour operators were wonderful, gave us got coffe/tea and sweet rolls prior to the trip. ONLY advice: dress warmly if you do this in the a.m.

The actual hot air balloon ride (not handled by the tour company). The pickup was at 5:15a as described. What wasn’t shared until after booked was that you can’t be over a certain amount of weight. I am 225lbs of all muscle and had to pay an extra $3 per pound over the threshold. This information should have been provided even in the fine print. They provided 2 optional times of departure back to Mexico City, both were 10:30a and 1:00p. The driver told us that we can go to the Pyramids and that there was a shuttle. When the driver came to pick us up to take us to the pyramids, 45 mins later we were back in Mexico City. We completely missed the pyramids because of this. The ride over the Pyramids is really nice but has nothing to do with this company. Another known fact that I would have found helpful was to pack long sleeves or a jacket as it was very very cold that early in the morning. The tour company did not provide us with this information. The breakfast was also outside so it made it colder. My advice, book a private car or take an uber to the location and pay for the experience on the fly.

It was a nice experience with this private ride! Beautiful scenery and I was not scared for a moment though i was afraid of height. Everyone is professional including the pilot as well as the photographer using drone and GoPro. Tasty breakfast after the ride.. I highly recommend others visiting CDMX for this experience.

The experience was great! My friends and I arrived on uber and we checked in they had free coffee and bread. We were the first ones to leave. the views woow! getting back don't forget to tip!

The worse experience ever!! They picked us up very early and made us wait more then 4 hours and at the end the ropes of the ballon were tangled, so they decided we were not flying. The package included a transport back and they made us pay $100 each to take us back and to the wrong place. very rude!! Don't use this company!!!!!

Be aware of their transportation promises. You pay for pick up and return to hotel but you’ll have to wait 4 hours after the experience. And if you ask for a refund to take an Uber instead, they’ll only reimburse you partially. Such a shame they try to squeeze out a few pennies and scam you at the end for an otherwise amazing experience

The Service was excellent, we were contacted the day before to agree the point to pick us up, the time and gave us the directions. The van where we were super comfortable, the pre-flight coffee also rich. Beautiful flight💜 and breakfast after delicious. We really liked that then they took us to the pyramids and waited for us and left us at the point of CDMX that we needed, even if it was not the pickup.

The tour was amazing, its staff super attentive and very friendly since I made the reservation, we enjoyed very much and were satisfied with the adventure... without a doubt I highly recommend this Enterprise

An amazing experience! We went 7 friends to fly balloon over Teotihuacan in late May. Although it’s quite early pickup, it’s worth seeing the sunrise from the globe. All very punctual, professional and organized.
