We had Andres and he was wonderful— very kind, extremely knowledgeable, patient and careful with my daughter and me. We learned so much and got a great overview of the city. We felt very comfortable with him because he was aware of potholes/traffic issues. Highly recommend him.

Doctores Neighborhood (Colonia Doctores) in Mexico City is a vibrant area with a mix of old and new influences. While historically known for being working-class and a bit rough around the edges, it's become a hub for street art, especially graffiti. The walls of Doctores are adorned with murals and graffiti that range from politically charged pieces to more abstract or personal works. You'll find a raw, urban energy here, with artists using bright colors, intricate designs, and bold statements. The neighborhood’s gritty aesthetic has made it appealing for creatives, and it offers an authentic, underground vibe, contrasting with the more touristy parts of Mexico City. Museo del Juguete Antiguo México (The Antique Toy Museum of Mexico, entrance not included) is located within the Doctores neighborhood and is a hidden gem for lovers of both nostalgia and street art. The museum’s exterior is a canvas for some of the city’s best graffiti artists.
Condesa Neighborhood is one of Mexico City's trendiest areas, known for its leafy streets, art deco architecture, and vibrant urban art scene. Graffiti and murals can be found throughout, particularly around Avenida Ámsterdam and Parque México, often blending contemporary styles with Mexican cultural themes. The neighborhood has a hip, bohemian vibe, making it a hotspot for creatives and art lovers alike. Stop to eat the most famous taco stand for its variety of guisados (stewed fillings) served in freshly made tortillas. Located in the vibrant Condesa neighborhood, this spot offers an authentic, no-frills taco experience. From savory tinga, chile relleno, to hearty picadillo, each taco is a flavorful glimpse into traditional Mexican home cooking. Popular with locals and visitors alike, it’s a must-stop for anyone looking to enjoy the comforting flavors of Mexico.
You will see amazing street art around the neighborhood

Such a great experience to ride around to neighborhoods to see spectacular murals and parts of the city you might not otherwise see. We were very lucky to have a private tour and one of us wasn't feeling 100% so our guide, Angel, was so accommodating and adapted the speed and route. He was excellent with ride directions and had fascinating information about the murals and other sites. 100% recommend for a unique view of the city!
We took this tour in 2023 and decided to do it again this year when we brought my mother to visit. She was excited about the prospect but when we got there she was a bit freaked out about riding through the streets. She was about to pass on joining the tour. Our guide, Diego, persuaded her to stay and he modified the tour so we would do almost all of the ride in nearby Chapultepec Park. This tour that he came up with on the fly was amazing. We saw parts of the park that I had not previously visited like the Don Quijote and poets areas, and we had a beautiful ride on a beautiful day. Everyone left very happy with the tour. Diego’s flexibility really saved the day.
Angel was such an amazing guide. My friend and I had a great 4 hours wandering the city and learning about street art. It was the perfect experience and Angel was an excellent guide!
I love a bike tour AND graffiti, so this was perfect for me. Angel was our fearless and knowledgable guide. He showed us so many cool murals, stickers, tags, and mabe even a Banksy. Big fun! Thanks, Angel.
We saw a lot of the city in our bike tour, not just street art. The bikes were comfortable and we felt safe even on busy streets.
What a fabulous way to see the true Mexico City. We loved pedaling through the city, seeing the art and viewing the different neighborhoods. Don't miss this!
This tour was the best way to see some of the amazing street art found around CDMX. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable on urban art culture and knew all the best spots in the neighbourhoods we rode through. We felt very safe riding around the city on bicycles and it was the perfect afternoon. Before the tour ended, we stopped at Museo del Juguete Antiguo México which honestly felt like we were transported to another planet. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in street art and visiting this museum.
Just got back from our Graffiti & Urban Art Bike Tour and had to write a review! Our guide, Mayek, was amazing! She was so kind, super knowledgable, and made us feel so connected to every site we visited. We rode through the Roma, Condesa, and Doctores neighborhoods, many about a dozen stops at incredible graffiti along the way, and we went to the Toy Museum toward the end of the tour to see an insane collection of classic toys (and where there is also some amazing graffiti art throughout the museum AND on the rooftop). Mayek also showed us some "extras", places not included in this tour. She took us through a section of Chapultepec Park, including one of the audioramas (the tucked away little nooks that play relaxing music with the trees creating a shaded canopy!). She also took us to see a bus (which also has graffiti art covering it) that also serves as a bookshop of sorts. We went in and were able to pick out a book for ourselves to keep! The tour was very flat and easy, with lots of bike lanes. So if you are a moderate-to-beginner in terms of your cycling skills, this tour should be fine for you! Having spent most of our time in CDMX in the Centro Historico, this was a wonderful way to see multiple neighborhoods, with the added bonus of enjoying the amazing street art these places have to offer!
My daughter and I enjoyed the bike riding tour very much!! We saw different graffiti and street arts in different area of town. The guides were very attentive and informative. We felt so safe and relaxed with them. My 16 year old daughter who loves art loved this tour. The bike riding was great way to go around and enjoy the city. I really recommend this tour. Thank you.
We goy super lucky and ended up with a private tour. It was fascinating to learn about the different neighborhoods and the history of the street art in them. The guides we excellent. I'd highly recommend this tour.
Incredible art throughout the trip and an awesome guide to help us. Biking is the best way to see the city and feel the culture. Also, I felt very safe riding through the streets and traffic is much lighter in the mornings during the tour.
This was the kind of off-the-beaten-track experience I love. Luis was an enthusiastic and very informative guide who clearly enjoys urban art, its history, and sharing the rich variety to be found in Playa del Carmen. We went to neighborhoods where there was not a tourist to be seen so not only was it great conversations about graffiti, tagging, and more, but an opportunity to see areas I never would have discovered otherwise. Honestly I would have been happy to chat with him for many more hours; he was very welcoming and thoughtful, ensuring our bike safety and food preferences, and full of sincere delight for chatting about urban art in a very personal yet global way. Worth every penny and more.
My family of three (son 16 years old) very much enjoyed the graffiti tour with Marco and Angel. Most of the tour was in Roma and La Condesa, two very picturesque neighborhoods. We also went into Doctores, which Angel called the "real" Mexico City, saw some fantastic murals there too, and visited MUJAM, the Museum of Antique Toys, basically. Angel and Marco were great fun to hang out with. They shared the art, of course, as well as anything else about life in the city that we encountered. Fully recommend!!
Angel was wonderful! He really enjoys graffiti art and has a lot of knowledge about it. You will also get a lot of history about Mexico. So glad we did the tour and experienced other areas of the city on bike. You will really enjoy it! Stop at Huset for a late lunch since you are in the Roma neighborhood. Fabulous day!
Great way to see the city and learn about Mexico's urban art/graffiti scene! Our guide was extremely accomodating and passionate about the artwork. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
This was the first thing we did after arriving in CDMX and it was a great way to orient ourselves in the city. It also gave us good context for artwork we would encounter on the rest of our trip. The tour guides were knowledgable and entertaining. The modern art museum we went to at the end of the tour was very impressive and a whole lot of fun. Highly recommended.
Main thing to note is that we did *not* do the Urban Art Tour. There was some mix-up and they sent a guide for the Frida Kahlo tour instead. The guides were great and we highly recommend the company.
What a great way to discover the hidden gems of Mexico City Art. The muralism tradition lives on, and there is no better way to view it. Our guide, Aremy, was knowledgeable about the Urban Art, and also put the art into historical perspective. Also, a great way to see Condesa, Roma and Doctores neighborhoods. We highly recommend this tour
The ride through Condesa and Roma was great. Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the murals, the artists who painted them, and the history of México City. The antique toy museum she took us to see was a delight. Highly recommend this tour!
Lucre was great and very knowlegable on all the murals. She also knew a lot to tell about the area! Really nice. She also was very clear on safety and really took safety in her hands. At first we thought the Antique Toy museum would be boring and not fit the theme, but this museum is really something! Unique and worth a visit! You will never forget it!
This was a great way to see the city while the streets were quiet on a Sunday morning. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the neighborhoods and history of the area that translate into common themes in the beautiful murals. I would recommend this to anyone visiting CDMX!
Highly recommend!! Luis and Lucre are so much fun and quickly become your best friends. This is a great way to get a lay of the land in CDMX and a sampling of some of the wonderful food. Plus it's a bit of a cultural tour - Luis and Lucre love this city and are excited to share it. Book it!! Sunday was awesome because so many streets are closed to cars.
This review is a little late (I took this tour about a month ago), but better late than never! This tour is AMAZING! I couldn't believe how much I could learn from, and how cool the urban art in Mexico City is. Before taking this tour, I would walk past artwork without blinking an eye, but now, I can't walk around without taking a minute to appreciate the world around me. The tour guides were super fun and engaging, and I felt a connection to them as soon as I got to the meeting point. This isn't an ordinary tour. The guides actually care about you! After being on a lot of tours around the world, and a number in Mexico City the week I was there, this is something that I have found to be extremely rare. This is not only the best bike tour company in Mexico City, but the best touring company there in general! I had a blast!
My wife and I visited Mexico City in February of 2017. We went on the Frida Kahlo bike tour. We loved it so much that when we came back for the Christmas break with our four adult children, we decided to take them on the Graffiti and Urban Art Bike Tour. If you do this, you will have fun. You will see large portions of Condessa and Roma. You will be guided by the nicest couple you've ever met (Lucre and Luis)....both of whom could not be more accomodating. I can't say enough good things about Pedalea Mexico and Lucre and Luis. BTW....Our kids loved it too!
