Great private tour! Included bathroom access, bottled water, and grace for getting a little lost and being late. Nice history lesson and explanation of each location in the village. Diego even walked us upstairs when the tour was done and took pictures of us throughout the tour. 10/10.

The Basilica is a very large complex. We were so grateful to our guide Martin. He was very knowledgeable about the history, culture and religious heritage and genuine in effort to make sure we enjoyed our time there. We very much enjoyed our tour and he even helped translate our needs for shopping in the store and helped capture our experience with photos! It was fantastic!!

This company canceled my tour about 18 hours before it was scheduled to start and gave no specific reason. I had stayed an extra day on this trip to enjoy the tour having changed a plane reservation and added another night to my hotel stay.

Was a little apprehensive about the meeting point details of this tour as there are conflicting information. On several emails it specifically identified the an entrance just outside the Basilica (the one I used as the destination to our Uber ride) however there was also a mention of the Statue of Pope John-Paul II. Had to confirm via telephone that it was indeed in front of the statue. Our guide Diego was quite competent and was knowledgeable about the whole place. Since it was a Sunday he had to rearrange his normal routine to accommodate the thick crowds which worked out well.

Our guide Diego was fantastic, but the Viator communications is terrible. There were no instructions on where to meet and after we finally got in touch with a live person, it took him 10 minutes to tell us to meet Diego at the statue of St John Paul II. It would have been SO EASY, to tell us that on our confirmation receipt.

I booked this tour for my mom’s 60th birthday, as it has always been her wish to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. I am so grateful to Gabriel, our tour guide, for giving us such a wonderful experience that we will always treasure as a family. The tour was not only insightful but also truly impactful. He did not provide me with a lot of information compared to other tours that I have experienced, but he told me the main explanations about the history of Basilica de Guadalupe. I’m sorry to say but the tour guide was not very good at all. Even though I booked an English speaking tour, the young lady was very hard to understand and I’m not sure she understood English since she could never answer my questions and would give answers not pertaining to what I asked. I only understood 10% of what she was saying. You can really do this tour on your own, for free. Catch an Uber and all what you can see is free and you won’t have to worry about a tour guide who you can’t understand. Sorry. Maybe this tour company needs to hire people who speak English for the English tours.

We had Andrew as our guide for the tour of the Basilica. He was awesome!! He had so much knowledge of the Basilica and all of the chapels and miracles!! We never would have experienced the grounds or understood the meanings of the statutes etc. without him. We hope when we book our next tour to the temples that we could have Andrew as our guide. We really enjoyed him and the tour!!

Evelyn and Diego were fantastic. They had an excellent knowledge of the Basilica in Guadalupe, Tilma, Juan Diego, the churches and Tepeyac hill. They were very friendly, polite, respectful and helpful.

Visiting La Villa was memorable and we were grateful to have our guides, Emily and Diego, with us. They were sweet, kind, patient, and gave us different options along the way since we had some special circumstances. We got caught in a rainstorm but Diego took one for the team and ran out in the downpour to find us ponchos. He also made sure we had water. Emily helped me make a purchase in the gift shop and educated us along the way. The whole thing ended up to be even more dramatic than I’d hoped!

The sites were amazing to see, lots of walking so wear comfy shoes. Pablo our tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable, I would definitely book with him again. Getting to and from the basilica took a little long as we rode the public bus however it was not that bad.

We had group of 6 including elderly and kids. Our guides were very patient with us. They walked us through the whole site. We had plenty of time and not felt rushed.

You absolutely MUST book this tour. Ruben was our guide, and he was so knowledgeable about everything! I booked this at the last-minute but then decided we would get more out of the day if someone explained what we were seeing. There are no signs to provide this information (or at least none in English). My family and I arrived at the Basilica early, attended mass, and then met up with Ruben.

Martin did an outstanding job explaining the sites in the complex in a very comprehensive manner. Although there was a slight confusion with the meet-up, the overall tour experience was amazing. Additionally, Martin was extremely patient with my 82-year-old mom, which was greatly appreciated.

Beautiful blessed place to visit and pray with family and loved ones! Guide was great in explaining historical background as well as symbols of the miraculous tilma as seen by the natives then. Most of all, guide was very patient with our needs and requirements considering the group had handicapped individuals with mobility issues but managed to finish the tour with no issues despite walking for several hours including uphill destinations. All worth it, really wonderful visit, wonderful tour and wonderful kind guide!

We had an incredible experience during the tour led by Omar. He truly went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable time. Omar was extremely flexible, and his English was excellent, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. His knowledge about the Basilica de Santa Maria de Guadalupe and its surroundings was impressive, adding great value to the tour. What stood out the most was Omar's willingness to accommodate our request to return to a different point outside the original itinerary. He guided us through the Mexico subway, showing immense patience (had to take 3 trains to reach the destination) and dedication throughout the entire time he was with us. Yordi was an excellent tour guide. Excellent English, very knowledgeable about the Virgin of Guadalupe village, and just a joy to be around. This private tour exceeded my expectations. I never felt rushed or that we lagged. Great pacing on visiting the different sites throughout the complex. Highly recommend.

My group and I debated on whether to get a guide or walk the grounds ourselves, but were so thankful that we decided to go with a guided tour because Diego + Evelyn knew so much history about each of the buildings. Great tour, lots packed into a few hours. Our guides picked us up from our hotel and offered us a snack and bottle of water. During the ride we were given lots of information about Mexico city, then once we got to the church, the knowledge continued. No complaints with this tour, would definitely recommend.

Andrew was awesome. He was on time very friendly and knowledgeable of all our questions. Our tour was Saturday and afterwards we inquired on him for travels services on Sunday, which we did end up booking too.
