Meg was fantastic. Would highly recommend. She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the town and artist.

We had such a wonderful tour of Frida Kahlo’s Casa Azul! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and funny, making the whole adventure so meaningful and memorable. From discovering hidden little taco gems and enjoying churros in the park to learning about the history, culture and surroundings along the way, every moment was special. Such a fun and unique way to experience Mexico City. Highly recommend this tour!
This was a fabulous experience with a knowledgeable and engaging guide. The perfect intro to (the beautiful and must visit neighbourhood) Coyoacan and the Frida Kahlo museum.
Tony was wonderful and very passionate about coyoacon. The tour includes great food which I didn’t realize. Highly recommend. Also better to do a tour like this than to only go to the museum. You learn so much more with the tour.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. The neighborhood is a fun one to walk through with an interesting history. The Kahlo Museum portion is self guided, but throughout the walk beforehand our guide provided the context and history needed to fully appreciate the Museum. The tostadas in the market were extremely good and an amazing local scene.
First of all our guide Dey was amazing. He was knowledgeable, spoke authentically about this area (where he has grown up) was very entertaining and overall made our day. The tour of Coyoacan, which is the quaint neighborhood Frida lived for most of her life, was a highlight of our trip to Mexico City. We enjoyed the parks, markets, experienced the street food and ended at the Blue House.
Rosa’s tour around Coyoacon was one of the highlights of my trip to Mexico City. Her knowledge and storytelling was delivered with so much energy I wished the tour went on for even longer than it did. You’re in very good hands with Rosa leading the group.
Great experience. Reyner was knowledgeable, and entertaining. The food and drinks provided were also very good.
This was the best tour I took during my visit to Mexico City! The tour guide, Diego, was incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely excited about the history of the Coyoacán area. The two food stops included in the tour were delicious and seeing the Frida Kahlo museum was a perfect way to end the day. I’d recommend taking this tour early on during your visit so you can take advantage of Diego’s recommendations for things to do around the city.
Our experience was wonderful! Our guide, Eugenio, was excellent! So incredibly knowledgeable and so down to earth and friendly! The foods along the way were a wonderful addition. Meeting new people during this walk was an unexpected bonus! It really added to the overall experience. Learning about Frida and going into what was her home was truly amazing.
Our tour guide Alex was amazing he did a great job. The tour was incredible the history on Frida everything was great
Sofia was a great guide going above and beyond to both expose us to Coyoacan as well as peak our interest to continue to explore the surrounding area.
Tour guide was very knowledgeable. We learned some facts I doubt we otherwise would have learned. She took us to some beautiful parks, guided us to traditional food and gave use some time to explore the market and church on our own.
This was by far the best tour we’ve done!! our guide Rolf treated us like family and kept us safe and secure. He knows all the ins and outs of Coyoacán. I recommend doing this tour 100 %
HIGHLY recommend this company to guide you. We had Diego and he was a wealth of knowledge. Keep in mind that you are not walking for 3hrs. You are strolling the cute little town and hearing incredible stories about Frida and Diego. You stop for bites to eat and a walk through the markets. This was my favorite thing I did in CDMX. It is a great way to get into the museum if it is “sold out”.
Great guide Jordon Learned so much and had fun including history and fun stories Also great food tasting
Great way to explore Coyoacán before experiencing the museum. Maria, was an amazing and great guide that provided a lot of history and background to all the sites we visited.
Our guide was incredibly nice and informative. She totally nailed everything and every food recommendation. On top of that she guided us into the museum which has a reputation for being difficult. Well worth the extra time to explore a beautiful part of the city.
Martin was a wonderful guide - provided lots of history and details about the area. The churros were incredible. Only disappointment (which wasn’t Martin’s fault) was that the museum was very crowded so it was hard to see all the exhibits easily.
Martin was wonderful! He was knowledgeable and friendly, we had a fantastic experience and I would recommend anyone to book a tour with him.
Arantza lead a terrific walking tour because of her passion to share the history of Coyocan and Frida Kahlo. She brought us to amazing food stalls and had us try churros. She kickstarted my Mexico City trip! Would not been the same without her knowledge.
I truly had an amazing experience with Arantza, she was amazing and made the tour fun and shared the great history of Mexico.
Our guide, Deyner, was super knowledgeable and charismatic. Through his remarks and responses to our questions, he really brought the history and culture of Coyoacan (and Mexico generally) to life! And the food in authentic local settings was delicious!!! Also, the details and the context he provided about Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera helped make our visit to the Frida Kahlo Museum very rich!
Very Disappointed with this experience. Host was unreasonably unaccommodating. Not communicative when I reached out via Viator with questions.
A nice slow paced walk. Emilio did an excellent job leading the group and gave a very detailed history of the area.
Since there wasn’t a lot to see at the Frida Kahlo museum, a walk around the neighbourhood was necessary to justify the cost. I was not impressed with stopping at a taco place or at a flea market. The lunch at the food hall was OK.
Coco, was a fantastic guide! Very informative. Gave a great overview of the history of Mexico City. Highly recommend!
This is a great tour to immerse yourself in Coyoacán and explore the neighborhood and history of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. We are so happy to have joined this tour, we got to see so many places in the neighborhood, learn its history, sample Mexican classics along the way, and do it in a very thoughtful and well curated route. The tour was a bit over 3 hours but time flew by- the tour is jam packed with worthy activities. Our tour guide, Meg, was extremely knowledgeable, incredibly responsive and so helpful!
Great selection of art, and terrific history. We appreciated doing it as part of a neighborhood tour to get a richer appreciation of the history and the complex life of Frida and Diego
We had a great tour with Sebastin! He was very knowledgeable and friendly and ensured our walking tour in Coyoacan was immersive and informative. Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone wanting to learn more about the neighborhood + Frida.
We absolutely loved this experience and would recommend it to anyone visiting. Tony was so kind and attentive and gave us a good amount of information and history without overwhelming us with too much. 100/10!
If you’re considering this tour, do yourself a favor and book it! Tony was an absolutely fantastic guide and genuinely made this experience feel like a VIP experience from beginning to end. The tour itself was great, from exploring the local street markets and sampling some delicious food and fresh aguas frescas to visiting the Frida Kahlo Museum. However, what really made the experience stand out was Tony. His knowledge, passion, and enthusiasm for Coyoacán and Frida Kahlo made everything that much more enjoyable. What I appreciated most was that Tony didn’t just focus on the itinerary. He went above and beyond by sharing great recommendations and helpful advice for the rest of our time in Mexico City. He was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely interested in making sure we had a memorable experience. Honestly, I feel like this experience is underrated because Tony brings so much more value to it than you might initially expect. He didn’t just guide us through a tour, he helped make our trip to Mexico City that much better. Five stars without hesitation! If you get Tony as your guide, you’re in great hands. Thank you, Tony, for making this such a memorable part of our trip!
Maria was an incredible guide, made the history of Mexico, Frida Kahlo and Coyoacan incredibly easy to understand and was super happy to answer all of our questions. She was very passionate and formed a beautiful story around the history of the place and people. We left feeling more knowledgeable, wanting to know more and having made a few friends along the way. Thank you, Maria!
Gabriela was our tour guide today and I can’t speak highly enough about her. Very informative and passionate about Frida Kahlo and the Coyoacan area. Highly recommend
Our tour of Coyoacan with Sebastian was terrific! He is incredibly knowledgeable on the history of this neighborhood and Mexico City and Frida Kahlo. All the stops were great, and the fresh warm churros and lunch in the market were very tasty. And the Frida Kahlo museum was very interesting. I highly recommend this tour.
Rolf is a great guide, very knowledgeable and accommodating. It’s nice walking around coyoacan in addition to seeing the museum.
Rolf was an amazing guide. Informational, easy to understand and well connected with the area.
I booked this tour June 7th for a visit to México city in October. The tour operator canceled 2 days before our Departure to México. All tickets by that time for our entire stay were sold out. Do not use this tour company.
Our guide Esteban was awesome! He talked about the history of Coyoacan and Frida Kahlo's life. We had atole, chocolate, aguas frescas, churros and tostadas. It was a great time and he kept us entertained.
Absolutely wonderful guide. Antonio (Tony) is world class! Well worth it.
This walking tour was absolutely fantastic and well worth the cost. Our guide Christina was phenomenal and a joy to be with and she taught us so much about the history of the area and Frieda and Diego. Our tour included food samples, a churro and lunch and then we were dropped off at the museum where we were able to roam about on our own pace, I highly recommend this tour.
We sure enjoyed our tour guide, describing Frida Kahlo's life, family, art, travels, and influences. Thanks, Alex!! Great food tastes - not too much: Just right.
Sofia was an amazing guide ! Bilingual and very fun to walk around in Coyoacán! Take advantage of her knowledge she knows a LOT!! super friendly
This tour was a wonderful way to explore Coyaocan and learn about Frida and hear about her life growing up in this neighborhood. Meg, who grew up there, was knowledgeable and fun guide and shared here local knowledge with us. Our group was about 10 people and it never felt overly touristy but also made navigating fun and convenient. I was traveling with my teenage daughter and she also loved it. We explored the neighborhood and markets, ate some delicious food and ended at Casa Azul. Hearing Frida's history before visiting the museum made it all the more meaningful. It exceeded my expectation and I highly recommend it.
It was a lot of walking but rushing from the guide. Great experience and good knowledge from the guide.
Prepare yourself for a short (3 hour) immersion on Coyoacán district of cdmx. Sebastian, our guide, is the most knowledgeable guide of any tour I've been on here. One smart dude. He's fluent in French as well as English. Try to go to the museum anahuacali after museo casa Azul. It's Diego Rivera 's museum of indigenous art. Mind blowing!
Arantza Franco was our amazing tour guide. Friendly, extremely knowledgeable, with excellent presentation skills, she walked us all around the Coyoacán neighborhood, three different market visits, including some stops for tastings of delicious local food, and filled us in on the history of the area as well as an overview of Mexican history from the Aztecs on up to present day. Her depth of knowledge of Frida Kahlo was extraordinary (she had worked at the Kahlo Museum for two years) so by the time we arrived at the Museum we were well schooled in everything Frida. One of the best tours I’ve experienced, hands down.
Jordan was a great storyteller of Frida’s life. We had an awesome time wandering the streets of Coyoacán while he narrated her life story as we imagined her taking the same alley ways. The district is gorgeous, the museum is small but 1000% worth going, and the churros are better than El Moro.
Gabriela was an amazing guide. Got to sample some great eats too. And it allowed me to get into the Frida Kahlo Museum even though it was sold out on the official site. Highly recommend this experience.
Gabriela was amazing. She knows so much about Coyoacán and Frida Kahlo. She is extremely nice and makes everyone feel comfortable to ask questions.
