During your visit to the Leon Trotsky House Museum, your assigned guide will accompany you on a personalized tour through the most iconic spaces of this historic site. Together you will explore the house where the revolutionary leader lived and was assassinated, preserved almost as it was in his final days, with personal objects, original furniture, and documents that narrate his life in exile. You will also walk through the fortified garden, where his tomb lies alongside that of his wife, in a setting that reflects both his private life and his political struggle. This visit offers an intimate and profound experience at a key location of 20th-century history.

Superb! Carlos knew his material and wrapped the tour around the background of the clients. Trotsky is widely understood as a politic figure but Carlos added the context of Trotsky’s time, of the intense incubation of ideas, as well as the complex culture of the people around him, from all over the world. I prefer smaller museums with specific topics and this an excellent example.
Mauricio our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly. The booking was great and timing was perfect.
We were lucky to get Arturo for all three tours - Frida Kahlo's house, Diego y Frida's studio, and the Trotsky house. He was deeply knowledgeable, had answers to our questions and help us see the bigger picture and how the three sites tell the story. Arturo also was flexible - conducting the first tour in English, but also for a couple of Chinese visitor! Definitely book with Chill 'n go!
Hector was our guide and he was great! Well informed, personable and professional. It is an interesting view into history and political theory that we greatly enjoyed
Arturo really brought the whole experience together. You can buy tickets and walk through on your own, but having someone as knowledgeable and invested as Arturo will make it a night and day difference. Arturo will walk you through the house, giving you a phenomenal overview of Lev’s (Trotsky’s) life. I knew a little going in, but coming out of it really gave me a whole new perspective on who Trotsky was. Lastly, Arturo has had a lot of experience at the museum so make sure to ask him any questions you have as it will make the whole thing that much better.
Very interesting place for people who are interested in history.
The Trotsky Museum was a fascinating visit to an extraordinary period in Mexican history which Héctor brought to life with his knowledge and good sense of humour. He was also very helpful at the end of the tour by taking us to a vibrant local cafe.
Arturo, our guide from Chill and Go was excellent. Trotsky House Museum was fascinating and well worth a visit. The guide’s presentation was value added.
The understanding of Trotsky‘s life and experience in Mexico is evident in the Trotsky house, but was far more educational and insightful with this tour.
I very much enjoyed the tour! My tour guide Vale was very informative and made the whole experience worth while! Would definitely book again
We really enjoyed this tour. It is a great compliment to the Frida Kahlo museum because of the relationship between the two iconic people. Our tour guide, Valerie, was amazing and gave us so much context around Trotsky and his life. She answered all of our questions with great enthusiasm!
Incredibly interesting historic site as well as a beautiful house in general. Our tour guide Omar was super insightful and provided some tips for other spots to visit in the city! Would recommend!
A fascinating tour with a convivial and knowledgeable guide!
Valerie was very knowledgeable and whoa a great story of political intrigue, international relations, art, and romance. I’d say that if you’re going to spend time in Mexico City, don’t miss the Trotsky house.
The tour was fantastic! My tour guide was so knowledgeable and I learned so many interesting details about Trotsky's life in Mexico. The tour helped me see things at the house that I otherwise would have missed and I left with a much deeper understanding of this period of Mexican history. Highly recommended!
Vale was a good guide. She knew a lot about the subject, Leon Trotsky. She probably spent about 20 mins explaining to me personally about the Trotskys and the Kahlos and political figures and movements in the early 1900’s. That put the tour of Trotsky’s house in Mexico City in context
unfortunate. time changed twice. guide ill-prepared. Way over-priced. Not sure what else I can say. End.
Fantastic and well curated. Highly recommend. Great for history lovers and architecture enthusiasts!
There is a lot of fascinating history here, it was very interesting to see. Valerie was very friendly and knowledgeable, I really enjoyed the tour.
Armi was amazing!!!!! She was so informative and fun to learn from. Take this tour!!!
Armi was a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide!!! We had such a lovely time!
Alex was a fantastic guide. He was so knowledgeable about Trotsky and this entire chapter of history. His enthusiasm and all the information he shared really brought our tour to life. I’ve been to the Trotsky house before but this time was an entirely new dimension.
Alex was very pleasant and knowledgeable. It wound up being a private tour, so I was able to learn a lot and ask plenty of questions.
Alex was a friendly and knowledgeable guide who greatly improved our experience of the visit. My whole family was really glad we went with him.
Daniel is a great guide, very knowledgeable. The experience was overall very pleasant. A little pricey considering the low entrance fee but I don’t regret paying the money.
Our tour guy Daniel was FABULOUS! Learned so much. The tour added to our next tour experience of Frieda Kahlos Casa Azul.
Armi was a great guide. Very informative and very personable. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would love to use Armi as a tour guide again
This place is really worthwhile, and it is only a few blocks from the Friday Kahlo museum, so the two makes for a good afternoon outing (also helps to understand the relationship between Kahlo and Trotsky). There is plenty of interesting information about Leon Trotsky though I wish more was in English. However, I was most taken by going through his living quarters, including into the room where he was hit by an ice axe and where he worked. The whole compound is wonderful. And unlike the Frida Kahlo Museum, we did not need advance booking to enter.
Alex did a great job of telling us about the history of Trotsky and his time in Mexico. We really learned a lot and I’m glad to know that Trotsky museum is becoming more popular over the last several years.
The tour guide was really unprepared and did not know Trotsky's history or the history of the site well enough to be giving a tour. Really disappointing. It is fascinating to see the house and the site -- but I would recommend going on your own rather than with the tour guide we had.
The tour was way too long (2hrs) for what it was trying to cover. Our tour guide actually knew very little about Trotsky and his life. (She couldn’t remember his actually name, for example, before he changed it.) Her storytelling was not clear, which was so disappointing. He lived a fascinating life and it is amazing to see his house in CDMX, but the tour guide really made the experience so much less engaging than it could have been. She needed to learn the history better and to figure out how to tell more compelling and understandable stories on the tour.
We had a pleasant excursion with Armi. I would recommend it to others. The delivery was factual and with a food pace. I am adding words to meet the requirements of 100 words.
I can highly recommend Romi. He is very knowledgeable and gave us a great explanation calling out the detail that we otherwise may have not paid attention to. A very powerful experience and definitely a highlight in CDMX.
We got to our tour early, ans Daniel offered for us to have coffee with him before the tour. I went knowing little about the house and was totally entralled with the story of Trosky and area he lived his final few years! Highly remmond you have a guide to explain his story. Daniel was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. Wondful tour
It was a totally wonderful tour in Trotsky museum with Daniel today. Daniel’s excellent level of English, enthusiastic story telling, interest in history made this tour outstanding, Daniel shared important facts from Trotsky’s life and political context of the time. It was a rather long tour but it was so well prepared that time passed by as one moment. Many thanks for this wonderful tour.
Very knowledgeable guide with good political awareness. So interesting to stand at the desk of one of the iconic characters of the 20th century.
Interesting to tour the house. Our guide Alex was very informative and made the tour more interesting.
I had the tour with Héctor, a great conversation and it is clear that he has a lot of knowledge about the tour and its history.
Good experience with Román, a very pleasant guide who gave us a very complete tour of the house museum. The guided tour is highly recommended to learn the details of Trotsky's life. In addition, at the end of the tour they took us to have a very good coffee.
Very good guided tour. The guide provided a lot of interesting information, demonstrating deep knowledge.
That although I do not communicate with his ideas, this character was important in the twentieth century and the consequences we saw reflected in some countries especially in Russia. I didn't know about the Siqueiros attack. Knowing persecuted must be a wearying, traumatic and horrible experience and even more so when you reached your family who were not the direct victims
All ok, and the information delivered was fine with the time we had. Omar very gentle and good person with the group. Grateful for the coffee I bought us
We found it excellent! Very good the museum and even more so the guide Alex Very interesting to learn about Trosky's life and everything he had to go through.
