Very beautiful experience. This was on my bucket list. The garden was my favorie part of the experience.
Great tour. Well organized! We love it. Easy and clear communication. Have your tickets ready. We look forward to our next visit!
Well put together, had not known her history……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………,………………..
We loved visiting Casa Azul. This was a super easy purchase and communication was easy, tickets were delivered without issue.
I had the best guide in Valerie, very knowledgeable and kind 🫶
This was helpful! The tickets worked when the museum website was sold out for my desired date! I was sent tickets via text as a pdf file.
It’s a wonderful small Museum where you really get the feel for Frida Kahlo’s life not just her art . I’m really glad I went
Never book with Viator! I payed double the price for my ticket. I wanted to exchange ticket for the earlier times, museum told me to wirite Viator, got manager involved and they told me I payed double the price and Viator didn't do anything for me
The museum was beautiful, highly recommend. Ticket delivery was flawless. No issues at the door, although we did see some other people having issues with third party tickets from other companies so be careful!
Tickets were delivered soon after booking. Sara and team were very patient to answer my questions over text. Highly recommend
Very good. Very informative and an insight to an amazing person
There are no actual artworks by Frida Kahlo - I personally think the experience is overhyped & expensive. Pleasant little house but nothing more . I preferred the Diego Rivera museum
A full, tragic, colorful life: Frida Kahlo
I purchased a "Last Minute Ticket" via TripAdvisor for the Frida Kahlo museum. Trip Advisor used Viator as the provider. After travelling all the way there they refused to honor my ticket saying they had no record of third party sale. I was extremely disappointed as that was a once in a lifetime visit. I will never purchase via Trip Advisor again as third party sales may not be honored.
Arm was great . Tour was really interesting and informative. Good mix of facts with feelings. . She did a good job explaining culture and movements
The visit to Frida Khalo's house was sensational. Seeing where this incredible painter lived and viewing some of her works up close was a unique experience. I would also like to comment on our guide, Daniel, who managed to draw us into the artist's life by describing everything in great detail with great simplicity. One of the best guides ever. Thank you so much, Daniel.
Absolutely a must do when visiting Mexico City. Suggest combining with a walking tour of the area. Very popular place to visit and tickets are times, so must reserve early. The printed guide to the museum definitely enriched the experience.
Glad we were able to book tickets for this very popular museum. Guide book which you provided was very helpful.
I cannot say enough good things about our combined tours of Museo Frida Kahlo and Museo Diego Rivera Anahuacalli in Coyoacon. First and last, a massive thank you and kudos to Cinthya Trici, our guide. She took the guide experience to a new level. Cinthya engaged us from the moment we met her at a tasty cafe across from the Frida Kahlo house to our sad goodbye after the Anahuacalli . She launched into a brilliant and articulate introduction to Frida Kahlo, her life of pain, art, love (for Diego Rivera and her career), and pioneering feminism (ask Madonna). She patiently and enthusiastically answered my questions with deep, sometimes dramatic and/or humorous answers, always keeping track of the thread she needed to follow to keep the day on track. The combination of tours at the Kahlo and Rivera museums is the way to go. Together, along with Cinthya's encyclopedic knowledge and expertise, they give the flavor of Mexico City, the brilliance of the Mexican art world, the fundamental importance of Meso American culture to world history, and in particular, the convergences of art, human thought, history, and Rivera and Kahlo as the modern love story. Again, thank you Cinthya for teaching me that Frida's art is not derivitive of or reducible to the European Surrealism, but rather a unique arrival to a similar solution.
I got my tickets two days before my tour. They WhatsApped me and iMessaged me the tickets. We had no issues and it was a great experience
Maite was a fantastic guide for my tour, extremely knowledgeable about the subject, very intuitive, highly recommended. ⭐✨
We absolutely loved our tour with Armine! She was enthusiastic, passionate, and so connected to the story of Frida. Thank you, Armine!
I wish I would have known to book sooner through the museums site, as the first time I paid for a confirmed ticket that was emailed to me by Viator, it was cancelled for no reason and I lost my spot. I found another ticket and with no warning my time was changed and I had to wait outside in the rain because I showed up at the time I expected.
1 because I apparently had booking issue. So in short I got already, they even held the bus, group was with "Amigos" then they kicked us off the bus and offered ZERO i mean zero help. Tried calling to resched, get info, anything but zilch. So in short they charged me for a tour I in no way got to enjoy or had any customer service to fix error. Extremely disappointed and will spread the word as I paid $300 not including transp for this stress. No thank you. Never doing anything with amigos tour group and strongly rethinking travelosity. People make mistakes and wish I could have been notified or able to talk to someone but again ZERO. IF YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY , TIME, AND SANITY BOOK HERE....otherwise pay a little more and definately get travel security or only book with places that give refunds.
Great tour. Very informative, and helped to provide context to the significance of the home in relation to the artist. The storytelling in English was extremely helpful .
We loved Arminé! She is so kind, knowledgeable and retold the story so well! She was so animated and made it fun yet captured the heartbreak. Highly recommend her and Chillngo!
The tour company was very responsive and allowed us to add on a guide at the last minute which made the tour exceptional. Isaac, our tour guide, was so engaging with both my daughter and myself and did a wonderful job of telling the stories of both Frida and her artwork.
Take your time, prepare for a line to get in, the staff is helpful and friendly. Watch the videos...
I enjoyed the museum starting with the life of Frida Kahlo. The collections and mementos helped to understand more about her life. I appreciate her more now gaining more knowledge of her life, challenges she overcame inspite of her disability. I would highly recommend it to everyone visiting Mexico City.
Do not buy from here. It is a scam. You will never receive a ticket. We took a taxi, because we thougt that we will be able to enter the museum. But we couldn’t.
We needed last minute tickets, and these guys came through big time! They're much more expensive than the official website but when you need tickets in a pinch, this is the way to go. They communicated via WhatsApp and sent us our tickets we'll before start time. Additionally, we got a couple of alebrijes figurines and drinks from a cafe two blocks away. So, that was a nice, unexpected gift! If you were in a similar predicament, I'd fully recommend you make us of this service.
The operator never sent the tickets and thus we ended up in front of the museum with access denied. Don't book with this 3rd party operator! Only use the official web page.
The museum was very interesting. Frida Kahlo lived a very challenged life yet was so successful. Her clothing and personal effects on display was amazing.
The museum is an homage to a person who, though she may have been interesting and moderately attractive, was not a great painter. The museum is way overpriced for a few minutes of sitting in a pleasant courtyard and a few minutes of seeing artifacts from herife. Very little artwork. not interested in her dresses, all told not a very good tour. The tour was postponed by the agency, which caused us unnecessary angst in getting our digital tickets to reach my cellphone. I do not recommend this tour, unless you are a Frida sychophant.
It’s best to book ahead before going as this usually sells out and you can’t purchase at the door. The only annoying part is the ticket I bought did not match the time on the ticket I received and I had to wait longer.
Museum was nice , small and very crowded, a a huge line in the heat , my tickets said they included coffee, skipping the line and a souvenir but that was far from the truth . Should be a lot cheaper for what it is
the house is very impressive! Nice situated in beautiful garden. Many memories..The ashes of Frida! the beautiful colours.. The photos of her youth!
Your site said audio support (which I paid for) and FK museum doesn’t offer or have it. The scheduling and ticketing was awkward and confusing/finally received the “ticket” by email. What is the Viator website for???
Great insight to artist and their home. You can envision the pain and depression she has along with glimpse of excitement and hope
The court yard is tranquil. The museum is crowded so patience is a must. Lots to see and explore. Take cash if you want to buy at the store as the don't take credit cards. Staff are friendly and courteous. We booked last minute and were lucky.
I ordered tickets for a specific time. When I received the tickets they were for a different time the company then sent me an email saying I could get an upgrade for more money for a different tour. I declined to do so after going back-and-forth for two days low and behold, my original tour was available. Try to find a tour with a different company When I arrived someone at the site told me via Tours always does this
This is a wonderful place but to have to pay ticket touts hugely inflated prices angers me !! My ticket should be free but because you buy up all the tickets I had to pay £58 for 2 tickets which should cost £10 !!!!
Nicole es muy bien y sabe mucho Ella toca muchas pictures para usted. Our guide was very knowledgeable and offered help with everything including taking pictures of our group
A glitch in the Viator app affected the time we could enter the Frida Museum. The company- Chill & Go Frida Tour- contacted us and asked is we would be willing to go to Diego Rivera Anahuacalli Museum first, and Frida second. They also offered a guide for both museums , Uber transportation between the 2 museums, photography passes at both museums and a coffee break in between the 2. Our guide, Joná, met us at Anahuacalli- and was extremely knowledgeable about everything in both museums including detailed building design features, and little details about both Diego and Frida’s relationship, Frida’s family, her dreams before her accident and so much more. Our guide was very friendly and answered all our questions- it was a spectacular tour overall and highly recommended. Jona is a freelance guide and highly recommended!
Booking was very easy - much more convenient than getting tickets through the Frida Kahlo Museum website. The digital guide was pretty useless. Communication from the guides was good. But the museum is grossly overrated and is pretty far away from the city center.
I never got in - the ticket link did not work and I was refused admittance. Two employees from the museum tried for 20 minutes to work with the link and to call the numbers for help but they never answered, the link didn't work, and I was therefore refused admittance.
I would never do business with Chilangou again, they STOLE my money. I bought tickets to the Frida Kahlo museum through Expedia but the tickets you supposedly attached to my email were not there. I called the number listed on the email and the one provided by Expedia the day we were there and no answer what so ever, I contacted Expedia for help and they were not able to contact you either so the museum refused to to let us in without the tickets. There were several people with the same situation as me that did not get their tickets from you Chilangou on that day which it was 07/13/2023. I filed a case with Expedia to get a refund and Chilangou refused to refund my money they literally STOLE $159.35 US DLLS !!!!!! This company CHILANGOU is a FRAUD!!!!!!!!! **********CHILANGOU ES UN FRAUDE NO SE DEJEN ENGANAR ME ROBARON MI DINERO Y NO SE HICIERON RESPONSABLES DE SU ERROR *************************
The tickets YOU issued were FAKES!!!!! The ticket numbers and scannable codes were assigned to other people and they REFUSED to let us in!!!!!!!! You once again SCAMMED us! Last year when we went to Vienna you FAILED to cancel hotel tickets and we ended up paying for an unused room!!!!!! HOW MUCH WORSE CAN YOU GET??????? You are are a VERY CORRUPT enterprise!
Easy to get tickets, little queuing. Museum is very busy, but we expected that given Frida Kahlo's huge appeal.
