We toured with Alex and David to Teotihuacan. This was the best tour I’ve done ever. And I’ve done my fair share! From pick up to drop off everything was amazing. Alex is so so knowledgeable and he really takes your through all the details and anecdotes in such a fun way! He himself is an archeologist in the making so there is no one better than him you can do this tour with. David was such a great guide. His driving was exceptional and safe. I had my one year old with me and both Alex and David helped me throughout the trip! They really make sure your visit is amazing and they are so patient and helpful. Best tour ever! Highly recommend if you’re in Mexico City.

We really enjoyed our tour with Alex. Alex texted the night before to remind us to bring sunscreen, hats, sunglasses and water for the tour. He was punctual and we even made it to the site before the gate opened! We really appreciated his wealth of knowledge on the archeology and all the things we should learn about the great Teotihuacán. If you are thinking about what tour to sign up, this is the one!

Alex was an extremely knowledgeable and friendly guide, who provided us with not only the history of Teotihuacan, but background information on Mexico as well. His unique perspective as an archaeologist allowed us to learn about the archaeological process of uncovering and preserving Teotihuacan, information we wouldn’t have been able to get first hand from many other guides. He was also honest with us when we asked questions that didn’t have concrete answers due to lack of found evidence (such as specific information about the pre-Aztec society who originally built the city). No tourist traps, Alex was polite to all the vendors we passed and they backed off. Alex was also very accommodating even though we booked last minute, and was able to get us on the tour less than 12 hours before the meeting time, with a personalized meeting location. Water bottles were provided as well, which was much needed in the sun and climbing the temples. We would be happy to take another tour with Alex and Huapango Travels the next time we return to Mexico City!

David and Garbiñe gave us a fabulous tour of Teotihuacán. They were prompt picking us up, took us to our favorite bakery and coffee shop that we visited every day after that. Garbiñe was super knowledgeable about all of the anthropology and archaeology of the site, an amazing wealth of information we couldn’t believe how much she knew and could answer any type of question and didn’t stop sharing information all day. We couldn’t believe she had a voice left!! They were free in the afternoon and extended the day (we hadn’t had enough of their lovely company ) by taking us to a wonderful lunch and a tour of the anthropology museum. they are very flexible and David is super responsive and can create your dream tour. I highly recommend reaching out and taking a tour.

We had an absolutely pitch perfect experience. Travel to and from was comfortable and seamless - and the actual experience exceeded all of our expectations. Our guide, Alex, was above and beyond; punctual, experienced, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and truly hosted a magnificent experience overall. The Pyramids of Teotihuacán were incredible- and it was a day we’ll always remember to explore and learn all about them and the surrounding area. Alex is an amazing person. He explains in detail the history of the pyramids. I would highly recommend doing this tour with Alex. Shot out to him for assisting me with climbing the stairs as I am afraid of heights.

We did the Xochimilco and Teotihuacan tours with David and Armando. They were both amazing! The drive to Teotihuacan was fantastic with David. He was so flexible to all of our silly needs like multiple coffee stops, and suggested we stop by a panderia on the way to fuel ourselves. On the drive to, he taught us all about Mexico City outside of the city center. He even helped me improve my Spanish! Teotihuacan was awesome, and he helped us breeze past all the tourist trappy things. Love them!

My friends and I went to Teotihuacan with David and we had an amazing time! He was so knowledgeable, funny and friendly, advised us when to leave so we didn't hit heavy traffic. He even gave us some food recommendations for when we got back into the city. If you're not going with David, then you're missing out!

David was an amazing guide - we saw the pyramids, walked through the area as well as the very well preserved houses. He drove us there and also apart from explaining the history, he also facilitated communication with the vendors in the ground making sure we understood all that was explained for the merchandise as well as we get good prices. We would recommend David and this tour to all friends visiting.

David was awesome. He was an engaging driver and did everything he could to improve our stay here. He was very flexible. For example, when we decided to split off from the rest of the Teotihuacan tour to eat at a different restaurant, he was more than happy to accomodate us. What's more, when we decided the restaurant wasn't worth eating lunch at, he was more than happy to suggest alternatives. We ended up eating at a great restaurant and he was happy to drop us off at our Air BNB afterwards. Altogether a great experience.

You cannot come to Mexico City and not visit Teotihuacan! If you are then accompanied by the very talented guide Alex, the day will remain unforgettable. The site is very vast, but Alex's tips allowed us to experience it in the best way possible, avoiding both the heat and the crowds of people. Alex is also very knowledgeable and passionate; we listened to his explanations with great attention!

Our guide Alex was very punctual to pick us up at the hotel, he recommended we arrive early and it was the best decision, we enjoyed the landscape and the pyramids before the heat rose to the maximum, so we enjoyed the walk with the best weather, Alex explained all the history to us and then recommended good places to eat! The place is incredible and is notable in the preservation of the monuments. The visit was greatly improved by the presence of the guide who accompanied us: it expedited the entire process of arrival and admission, and made the historical framework in each moment of the visit. You must be prepared to walk and climb stairs in stone.
