Luis was amazing! He is very personable and gave us great information about the local history! The area itself was beautiful and my friends and I had a great time. Can’t recommend enough!

The walking tour was great and worth your time. Our guide Omar was so sweet and knowledgeable. Thanks for making our day
This is the best tour I've done across Mexico as our guide, Luis, was warm and very knowledgeable. I enjoyed the elements of the tour, it was well-paced, and the food we had was delicious! I think this is worth the price.
This is a wonderful experience. I absolutely loved learning about the history of Coyoacán and getting to see the beautiful architecture and culture around the neighborhood. Hector is a very knowledgeable guide and very accommodating to all the questions you could possibly have, he was very nice. All the food spots he took us to were very good. Thank you so much Hector. The Frida Kahlo museum was amazing. I am so happy that I booked with this tour group.
Wear comfortable shoes a wonderful stroll through the town with a lot of knowledge along the way. Perfect
Walking tour of Coyoacan, with stop for great Churros and quesadillas. Culminating at the blue house, Freida’s museum house. Very quaint neighborhood, highly recommend!
Mariam was a dream tour guide. Very knowledgeable and personable. A really genuine person who explained the history of Coyoacán! She knew the folklore of el callejón del aguacate, the fate of malinche and even took our pictures. I will definitely book another tour and I plan to request Mariam.
Mariam is amazing. She’s very personable, informative and a good storyteller. The tour covered a lot of good grounds, including a few different neighborhoods, local eats, markets, and Friday Kahlo museum. Fully enjoyed the tour, highly recommend!!
Miriam was absolutely INCREDIBLE! Truly so much fun, laughter and a genuine good time. We learned SO much and she made it all so seamless to the tour and gave so much historical context to our experience! Truly a 1000000/10 experience, BOOK IT!
This is a great experience for those that want to have a little taste of traditional mexican environment with the guidance of Hector. It is a walking tour, the time allows for it to go at your own pace, there is food along the way that is a great break. We loved the traditional taco stand inside a market, we eanted that experience but were a little scared of picking the wrong stand. The attention of Hector was the best and always ready to answer all questions.
Our group of 8 friends took this tour and had a great experience! Led by Hector and Ruben, we learned facts and heard stories about Coyoacan that wouldn’t have gotten anywhere else. It seems most tourists take this so they get access to the Frida Kahlo museum, which is sold out weeks in advance, but we thought every minute before was worth it!
This tour was awesome!!! Hector was an incredible and knowledgeable guide. Explored an area I may not have seen without the door. The food stops were great.
We loved this tour! Our tour guide Ruben was kind, knowledgeable and fun. Such a great introduction to Coyoacán. Lots of great history and, some really tasty tacos. Thanks Ruben!
We were the only visitors in this group today. Thanks to Angel we had an excellent walk and he proved to be very knowledgeable and was a good Spanish teacher as well. His choice for lunch was a nice little food court featuring local food - we enjoyed the local version of quesadillas and learned a lot about local food preferences. We ended our visit with a short tour through the Mercado and a slow and gentle visit to the Frida Kahlo house museum. We now know Coyocan much better and we know some little laneways and shops thanks to Angel. 5/5 for sure. Good value for the cost.
This is a nice small group tour to visit Coyoacan and mainly the Frida Kahlo Museum/Casa Azul. The tour itself was light in terms of walking and information, but it was nice nonetheless to have a great tour guide show us around and answer questions. Having lunch in a local market was great, too. Overall this is a good but pricy option to visit the Museum if you couldn't secure tickets through the website. Bonus points for this operator who was communicative via WhatsApp when my party was running late.
We had a lovely visit on our walking tour of Cayocan with Hector. He was extremely knowledgable about the area - both historical and biological. We enjoyed visiting all the major sites and my husband and daughter loved the tacos! A highlight was seeing the little alleyways in the Cayocan neighborhood and visiting the Frida Kahlo museum. If museum tickets are booked and you are looking for a way to get in to see the museum, do not hesitate to book this tour.
Luis was an animated and knowledgeable tour guide! The tacos were really tasty and he gave us interesting history about the Coyoacan neighborhood.
We were hoping for a bit more historical context and description but was overall really wonderful. The lunch and dessert spots were excellent!
This is a lovely tour of the markets with lunch included and Frida Kahlo museum tickets included. It was nice to explore this area of the city.
Such a great tour of Coyoacán. Family of 4 with 2 adult kids and our guide Ruben was great! Had lots of local knowledge and fun. Would definitely do another tour with him. Lunch was great also and the churros!
Lucretia led our group through an amazing tour beginning with the Santa Catarina Chapel, thru Coyoacan, Jardin Centenario, Plaza Hildalgo and ending at the Frida Kahlo Museum. Excellent, nicely laid out walking tour including delicious tacos along the way!
The luckiest thing happened that got us on this bike tour..a highlight of our week in Mexico City. Our travel friends had promised to buy us all tickets to the Frida Kahlo house, and accidentally forgot to buy the tix. My husband found this Viator Bike Ride with Tix to Frida Kahlo House. Our guide, Gabriella, was the best of the many guides we had all week. She is smart, fun, friendly, learned our names, and gave us a super informative tour. I am 64 and have not been on a bike in 3 years, but you know how it is with riding a bike! The bikes were well maintained, comfortable, and we all rode in single file following the fantastic Gabriella. We made stops along the way and she taught us a lot of interesting history, picked up churros and a delicious Mexican beverage, took us to the market for a satisfying lunch and then got us right into the Frida Kahlo House. So the value for this experience is outstanding. We have been enjoying all the Viators, but this one is our favorite so far. Highly recommend!
The tour was a five hour tour and the majority of that was biking through Mexico City from Roma Norte to Coyoacán. The majority of the bike ride was not necessary to tour Coyoacan. Ideally, we would have been dropped in Coyoacan and then used the bike to tour the area. Outside of the maybe 1 hour in the museum, a very small portion of the trip was spent in Coyoacan. On the plus side, our tour guide, Hector, was fantastic. However, I would not recommend this tour as a way to explore Coyoacan. If you are looking for a biking workout with a 1 hour break, then this is a great option for you.
This was a delightful and unforgettable way to experience Mexico City. Our great guide, Angel, met us and was flexible about our timing thanks to our family of five being the only guests on the tour. We rode our bikes down through varied neighborhoods, ranging from very busy and built-up to the more village-like area of Coyoacan near the Kahlo Museum. Along the way, Angel stopped to give us brief histories of the areas. The whole trip felt safe thanks to Angel being very attentive to road conditions, blocking traffic for us, and keeping to about 90% bike lanes along the way. After stopping briefly in the main square of Coyoacan, we had an hour-plus visit at the Frida Kahlo museum that was super memorable. Afterwards, we had some churros with Angel and cycled back along a different route to the meeting spot, luckily avoiding rain. The bikes themselves were cruisers and OK for this flat ride. *Definitely* have a big breakfast beforehand as it's a solid 3.5-4 hours of cycling from about 10AM-3PM with no stop for a meal. Super highly recommend!
Our guides took us through neighborhoods, parks and a local market on the way to Frida's museum. The bike trip was a highlight during our visit to CDMX.
I booked this bike tour because it says it started in Condessa, biked through a park, and had a guided tour of Frida’s house— none of that was true. After changing the pick up spot without notice, we spent 30 minutes biking on busy roads (one was 7 lanes) to Frida’s neighborhood, where we parked the bikes in a car park. There was no tour. Attached are screenshots showing the start point in the Viator app, and the description saying it started in Condessa and had a tour of a park and guided tour of Frida’s house. See the screenshots for where the actual start point (blue dot) is in relation to Condessa and the park (outlined in red). We paid $85 to commute on a busy road to stand in line for a self guided tour of Frida’s house. Huge disappointment! Just book an advance ticket for the house/museum and take an Uber.
So fun and safe! great way to see the neighborhood where Frida used to live and skip the line access is the best. our guide was so knowledgeable, funny and enthusiastic. well worth it!
The guides, especially Hector, were great. They were knowledgeable about the area and it’s history. They were also very concerned with our safety while biking which made us feel more comfortable. We explored the area before going to Frida museum including getting some delicious tostadas and going to an art market. It was a lovely way to spend the day in Mexico City and we wouldn’t have been able to do it on our own.
Nice tour guide but was stressful to ride through traffic and didn’t always feel safe. Group went at a bit of a fast pace for me. We got entrance to museum but we are left to explore on our own, rather than a guide which we thought we would get. Snack stops were nice.
Really glad we booked this tour a great way to see mexico City, including the Frida Khalo museum. Marco was a great guide , good explanations, and gave some really interesting information and insights on Mexican history. The cycling route was safe and well planned, mainly on cycle paths or roads closed to traffic. Thank you, Marco, for a great day 🙏
A fun adventure! We felt safe and well guided the entire time. A joy to go on an excursion and not worry if we were headed the right way, or might miss something. Definitely worth it to see other parts of Mexico City and take in the culture.
Our tour guide, Magic, was very helpful and flexible. She was great with the bikes, and made sure ours were safe and in good order. She told us about the neighborhoods we road through, and showed us around a great market in Coyoacán. We really appreciated her knowledge, kindness and flexibility. The Frida Kahlo Museum was an amazing experience, made better by our tour. You won't regret seeing Mexico City by bike!
Had such a wonderful time on this tour! This was a great way to tour the city and I felt safe the whole time.
We had a fantastic day riding through different neighborhoods culminating with a visit at the Frida Kahlo Museum. We can highly recommend Mexico City Bike Tours!
This tour was incredibly fun, and the bike guides were excellent. I’m not an experienced bike rider and I felt very safe. A couple of things to keep in mind : The tour operator may cancel your tour and ask you to rejoin another. So in building your itinerary for Mexico City, have some flexibility in your schedule. You have to have some level of fitness and a basic ability to ride a bike to join this tour. (Seems obvious, right?) It is a 25-35 minute bike ride to and from the museum. Be advised you’re in a major city. There is traffic, air pollution, pot holes, and if you’re sensitive to altitude, you may want to think twice. I had not been on a bike in a couple of yours, and I’m not an experienced rider, and it was still lots of fun for me. I did take/need extra water. And as other reviewers have mentioned, this is not a guided tour at the museum. It’s an entrance ticket. We went to a cathedral, not to the market. And although we rode around in Coyoacán, we did not really explore it. We went to and from the museum with stops. All of that being said, this was a highlight of our tip. The guides made sure we were safe in traffic and that we had a fun day. I’d recommend this tour to anyone and I’d take another tour with this group if I had the time. Two big thumbs up.
So fun! Marco was great. I felt safe whole trip riding bikes. Trip was easy riding. Highly recommend!
Marco was an outstanding guide and companion as we toured these beautiful neighborhoods of Mexico City. We were a little apprehensive about biking in the city(!) but it turned out that it has much better and safer bike routes than our home city of Austin, Texas. Beautiful boulevards and parks and on every stop Marco would tell us the colorful history of our surroundings. Don’t miss Coyoacan, the highlight of the day!
My wife & I arrived at the starting point early to a warm welcome from Marcos, who was already there. He made sure our helmets and bikes fit properly, demonstrated how to follow his very clear hand signals, and told us what to expect on the ride. A visit to the charming Parque México just blocks away gave us a chance to get comfortable in the saddle. Marco related the history of the park and pointed out the contrasting character of the adjacent Roma and Condesa neighborhoods, with their mix of baroque, neocolonial, and art-deco architecture. A safe and easy 5-mile ride landed us in the quiet enclave of Coyoacan. There we visited the 16th-century Parroquia de San Juan Bautista, an exquisite Baroque treasure. Marco surprised us with hot fresh churros at the iconic coyote fountain in Coyoacan’s central plaza. Casa Azul: The tour reservation let us skip the lines and go directly into the Frida Kahlo museum, accompanied by our own private guide, a fully credentialed art historian. The experience was as moving as it was edifying. As we told Marco at the end, the tour rates a galaxy of stars.
We had a wonderful day on the bike tour. Our guide, Marco, spoke great English, and always made up feel safe on the road. It was pretty flat so we didn't have to cycle too hard. He also shared so much historical knowledge with us! The Frida Kahlo museum was very interesting and we love Coyorcan as well!
Angel was so great! It was just my friend and I so we got a lot of good conversation and rich history from him. The streets of Mexico City have a lot of cars and traffic but he made us feel taken care of and safe the whole ride. Coyoacán is gorgeous and he allowed us free time to eat and drink before the museum. The museum is absolutely amazing. Everything about this experience was perfect and so much fun. Highly recommend
This was amazing tour we got last min. Danny (Led) and Marc were both great! Especially Danny, he is like mother Goose protecting all of us slow ducklings. We got into Frida Kahlo just two days after arriving Mexico City And got guided tour as well. We got lucky!
Had a great time on this tour. Angel and Marco kept us together safely as we traversed the city through the various colonias (neighborhoods) as we made our way to the Frida museum. This is time and money well spent for an opportunity to see parts of CDMX that you probably wouldn't otherwise. Bikes are in good repair and helmets are provided and encouraged (some travel is on some busy streets on the way to Coyocan).
Biking to Coyoacán with Pedalea Mexico was a great way to see different parts of the city. The guides were knowledgeable and prioritized safety.
Amazing tour! The guides were awesome - made the experience fun, safe, and added context and history during the ride! A great way to see the city, different neighborhoods, learn some history, and also the Frida museum. The guides were really fun and very accommodating!
Our leaders kept us safe and happy. Interesting history shared. The trip was a bit long in riding distance, probably about 20km total with about 5 stops total.
We enjoyed our bike tour. Our guides made us feel welcome and safe. My husband appreciated that one guide led and the other followed at the rear signaling traffic and other pedestrians to yield to our small group of bikers. The only suggestion we have is for the itinerary to include how much time at each stop and bathroom breaks so people know in advance for planning purposes. Our tour guide bought us churros at one stop which was very nice. Bring money for Fridas gift shop for souvenir purchases. It was nice meeting fellow bikers and hearing about their travels and experiences.
This tour was a really fun way to see the city and the Frida Kahlo house and museum, which is a must-do. Angel was a great guide—very knowledgeable, friendly, and expertly navigated us through Mexico City traffic (no small feat!). Highly recommended!
Angel was very knowledgeable and explained everything to us in great detail. He speaks and understands both English and Spanish. It was an experience that we will cherish always. Highly recommend!!!
Angel was a great guide. We got to see and learn a lot about the city. You do bike in the busy streets but the drivers in the city are very bike friendly. Most of the time you are in a bike lane.
A wonderful way to explore and experience the city! We learned a lot about the history of the city, while biking through beautiful neighborhoods. Our guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and showed us a great time.
