We had a great walking tour of Coyoacán with Taveo! He was very knowledgeable and informative, and shared so much interesting history and local culture along the way. We learned a lot and really enjoyed exploring the neighborhood with him. Highly recommend!

Having explored Mexico City's Historic Centre, this tour was a fantastic opportunity to discover a completely different side of the city's rich history and culture. Coyoacán has so much character, and learning about its history, cultural significance and connection to Frida Kahlo made the experience even more interesting. Our guide, Emilio, was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating historical insights that really brought the area and its stories to life. It was lovely to gain a different perspective on Mexico City beyond the usual historical landmarks. A thoroughly enjoyable, informative experience and a great addition to our time in Mexico City. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore beyond the Historic Centre and gain a deeper appreciation of Mexico City's history and culture! 👏🏾🇲🇽
Luis was so incredible and very knowledgeable. He was patient and kind and answered every question we have- one of my favorite things i did in my 2 weeks in cdmx- I highlyyy recommend
My wife and I a wonderful tour with Aldo that was incredibly informative and easygoing. Learned so much about Coyoacan and its rich history. Highly recommend this tour!
Laura was one of the best tour guides I have ever had. She was very engaging, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable about the history of Mexico City. I highly recommend her.
the guide was really nice and expert on the topics and more
Jesus was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable about the neighborhood, history and chisme of the times. He would be my choice if I was to bring others to do this tour.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and guided walk!
Our guide was Paulina. She is a very nice person and has a lot of knowledge about her town. She answered the questions of everyone. During the walking between two explanations, She was interested about us. We appreciated a lot our tour.
We took this tour with Carmila and afterwards booked the Roma Norte tour with Sofia- both were amazing! Our guides were so informative, welcoming, and helpful, the pace was relaxed, and they really brought the neighborhoods to life.
We had a great tour with Jesus. He was friendly and very informative, and we very much enjoyed learning about this beautiful neighborhood.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and fanastic. The description is slightly misleading at I assumed we’d have 20 minutes of admission inside the Frida Kahlo museum as the itinerary mentions “20 minutes free admission” so I assumed it would be a very short tour inside. Maybe not the actual museum but entry perhaps. Although the tour was lovely the ending was across the street of the museum and the tour guide mentioned it’s recommended to tip $250 pesos per person which is a bit strange to request a certain amount of tip as well. Nonetheless Coyocan is a beautiful place.
Carmina was so incredibly knowledgeable and so sweet. We had an amazing tour exploring Coyoacan and she gave us so many wonderful recommendations for things to check out after the tour.
Love this tour company! I have done two free walking tours with them and both times, the guides were fantastic. On my latest trip to Mexico City, we did the Coyacan tour and our guide, Estrella, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend them!
We had a great time on our tour of Coyoacan! We walked across the whole neighborhood, stopping at all the important sites to learn something interesting about the history of the spot, the history of the area, the architecture, and other interesting tidbits, aided by visuals on our guide's iPad. We were left with a very rich sense of the history of Coyoacan, distinct from Mexico City itself, from the Preclassical era of Mesoamerica until modern times. A handful of very minor things stopping us from giving this tour a perfect score: - This was our fourth tour around different parts of Mexico City in five days, and this one didn't have as much character as some of the others. - Per company policy, tips needed to be separated per-person for bookkeeping reasons, which made tipping mathematically challenging if you were planning on using a large bill to cover more than one person. - Our guide's English could have been a little better. We were still able to understand 99% of what he was saying, but this tour had more misremembered or misconstructed English words than the other English tours we went on. - Our guide stopped momentarily to buy water in the middle of the tour, which wasn't a problem in and of itself, but it made me think that with better planning, both the guide and the group could have taken a 5-10 minute break to go to the bathroom and buy water or snacks, instead of having a separate bathroom break and awkward stop for water.
I did Coyoacan Tours. It is really interesting and full of history. Estacion is flexible and easy to talk with. I booked 11AM tour but move it to 3PM as I was not feeling well and it is approved straight away. I was alone in that tour but the guide Eduardo still did the best explanations and didnt rush. Highly recommended .
Thank you to Sofia for her visit of Coyacan district! She's plenty of energy and full of informations regarding this great district. I learnt a lot about Coyocan history and Frida Khalo's house and family! Muchas gracias!
Tourist from Canada here! Paulina was a wonderful guide! Kind, knowledgeable, insightful. All the great things! It was a lot of information, and I learned a lot. Here are some photos of the spots we walked by, a paper showing food she suggests we try, and a restaurant she recommended (which we went to after the walk). I also did a tour with the same company a few years ago in historic centre. Just as great! 100% recommend. Although it is a free tour, they run on tips just fyi!
Interesting tour of the area. I enjoyed the stories of the history. Coyocan is a beautiful neighborhood and walking was the best way to experience it.
We had been to the Coyoacan area in Mexico City before briefly, when touring the house of Frida Kahlo but never had a chance to explore the greater neighbourhood. This tour of Coyoacan seemed like the perfect fit and it was. Our tour guide Leo confessed that it was his first English language tour, but what he lacked in grammatical niceties he more than made up for in the depth of his knowledge about the history, architecture and persons of importance from the community. We concluded our tour feeling that we had experienced a unique peek into this very beautiful neighbourhood and Leo's enthusiasm and willingness to answer all questions, certainly added to the experience. The one challenge was the instructions on where to meet. Not being intimately familiar with Mexico City, the instructions did not allow for an easy google map search. However my question to the organization was answered quickly and clarified where to go. All together - a delightful way to spend some time and learn and see a lot! Thank you Estacion Mexico and a special thanks to our guide Leo
Sofia was incredible. I've done a few city tours and they're sometimes fun but a bit boring. But this was so much fun. It feels like our guide, Sofia, was very conversational and didn't have a script. It felt like talking to a very interesting friend. Highly recommended.
We thought it was excellent, the guide Luis was spectacular, very illustrative with great knowledge of the topics
Our guide Sofia was perfect with us and explained the history of Coyoacan wonderfully. We highly recommend Sofia as a guide!
The tour is pleasant and the guide Aldo tells the history in an enjoyable way. But Viator is misleading in saying that it includes the Frida Kahlo Blue House museum. The tour ends right in front of the entrance. The entrance is not included and it was a bit frustrating.
Our guide was Irene, everything was very good. Thanks
The guide was spectacular, the walk through Coyoacán was very good. We were in wonderful places
It was the first tour we booked with them because a friend was in Mexico the previous year and recommended them to me. My partner and I were delighted with the tour because the guide was from Mexico, he explained everything great to us, and they are tours with few people.
Alejandro was a magnificent guide, very friendly. He explained everything to us in detail and answered our questions. He also recommended places for us to eat. We recommend him.
We loved our tour with Luis in Coyoacán. It was very informative, personalized, and entertaining!
We did the free tour of Coyoacán and our experience was unbeatable!! We took the tour guided by David who told us the history of this colony along with all his curiosities. We would repeat without hesitation!
The tour was in coyoacan, the guide was Grace, very nice with many interesting stories and facts. It could be a little longer.
We visited Coyoacán with Estrella. The visit was very complete and interesting. Estrella was very friendly and gave us a lot of information that allowed us to make the most of our experience. Thank you!
Our guide Carmina was very well prepared and kept the tour lively and very interesting. Coayacan is very nice and historic. Excellent Tour, recommend it.
We took the tour of Coyoacán with Eduardo. It definitely exceeded our expectations. Besides having a lot of knowledge, you can see that he enjoys his work a lot. Very enjoyable and widely recommended
A very excellent tour of Coyoacán, CDMX, thanks to David who shared a lot of information with us - always accompanied by a smile! Despite already living in Mexico for many years, I was able to learn new things, to understand and appreciate that beautiful country and its people a little more.
