Balloon Flight With Breakfast In Cave And Pyramids Tour From Cdmx

Balloon ride was amazing and a must do! The drone video is totally worth it! We requested an English guide and our balloon pilot only spoke Spanish but it meant we had no idea what the champagne toast at the end was for. The cave breakfast was neat if you’ve never had a meal in a cave. The food was fine, not great but not bad. Bring tip money for servers and entertainers. The pyramids were cool but not worth it in my opinion. It was HOT. Dress in layers and wear sunscreen. And bring water. They gave us one tiny bottle but there was no where to buy more water or safely fill up our bottle. You stop at a market where you have to listen to an explanation of the agave plant and local rocks/minerals. It was super crowded and took up a bunch of time. I’d rather get on with my day instead of doing that. Lots of extra people and stops that all ask for tips, so come prepared with coins and small bills. We ran out of tip money quickly and I felt bad.

This early morning balloon trip was a truly amazing experience worth the price. Our pilot had 15-years' experience under his belt and did an incredible job of manipulating the balloon in all directions so that we could get optimal views. One of the highlights of our trip outside of Mexico City! However, I should make note that we were separated (because of weight restrictions) from our original group. A few people in that group reported that they did not have the same experience as we did and were deeply disappointed. The pilot makes the difference! We did get stuck for hours in a transportation protest that turned a 90-minute trip into a longer than 3-hour trip.

What an amazing experience. It was the perfect amount of time in the air. Some of the most beautiful views I have ever seen. The staff were super friendly and all professionals at what they do. Perfect little escape from the hustle and bustle of Mexico City.

Balloon sunrise tour was definitely the best part of this experience! Where i take off stars is in comfort and overall experience. The van was too small for the people traveling. We left out of CDMX to arrive to our tour, which included pickup. Wish the van would of been bigger or there would of been less people in our bus. We were squeezed in tight which is not very comfortable especially for an over 1 hour drive. They take you to a tequila tasting/"gift shop" where you have to see a demonstration that lasts 40 minutes. It's basically a 40 minute sales pitch that takes time away from time spent at the pyramids. The van driver wouldn't start the AC at the end of the day until everyone was on it after the day was over and we just spent time walking around the VERY hot pyramids. Again small changes in service where it could of really mattered in terms of comfort.

Incredible experience, our balloon only had 7 people in it, but in two divided areas so my friends and I felt like we had a private booth. Absolutely beautiful views of the Pyramids and surrounding area, it felt unreal. And all the staff were super friendly. You start off in one area, then get shuttled to near the balloons, coffee, snacks and toilets available at both locations.

Such an awesome experience! My hot air balloon ride during my trip to Mexico City was unforgettable and definitely one of the highlights of my trip. Being up in the air and taking in the views was incredible—pictures don’t do it justice! I’m so glad I did it and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting. A beautiful memory I’ll always cherish!

100% worth the early wake up. Pick up was easy and as you move around from different locations it is seamless and a smaller group. Alan was great in taking care of us at the centre. Groups are combined for the hot air ballon but didnt feel too squished (there were 5 in my section). There is a photographer with option to by photos but not pushy. I felt safe with the captain. The views were amazing!!

Overall good experience. Great view and a fun time in the balloon. Welcoming group of guides shout out to Allen and Michael. Complimentary hot coffee was nice for an early cold morning. Expect some wait times.

Allan, Yesina, Mike, and the rest of the crew were amazing! We were picked up from our air bnb on time then driven to the location of the hot air balloons. The flight was very safe and fun. Just a lot of waiting before and after the ride but there was coffee.

This was truly a magnificent experience. The staff and guides XX, made the process incredibly smooth and were communicative throughout the entire experience. You must book!

The balloon ride was good but extremely short. Barely 30 mins. I had a guided tour of the pyramids as part of the package, which they didnt fulfil and when questioned about it, they said they would return 200 mxn pesos which was barely anything relative to what I paid. Now the biggest scam starts they were asking for.2500 MXN for photos and videos and a reel of the balloon ride which is a total rip off relative to the cost of everything. Some spanish speaking folks negotiated this cost down to 1000 MXN per person. And so.i agreed to.participate snd get the photos snd videos. Now they delivered on photos and the reel, but never shared the raw videos. And after repeated follow ups, the lady is just not responding. I would say avoid this tour operator like the plague. They dont deliver on what they are promising.

Everything was great from the pickup from Mike to the end where we got to check out the drone video and pictures that Santiago produced. Alan, our tour guide welcomed us with a smile and kept it the whole way:-) The pilot David got us up in the air with ease and the landing was amazing! Smooth is an understatement. These guys work so hard. The view was amazing. Definitely a MUST when visiting Mexico City! Best way to end our trip!

My experience was amazing, this was my first time in a hot air balloon and it won’t be my last. Alan was a tour guide and he made me very comfortable before and after the trip. The view was breathtaking, I would recommend putting on a couple of layers to keep warm. Mike was our driver and Santiago was our photographer. Services 10:10! Highly recommend!

My friends and I had an amazing experience! From start to finish, it was very organized and all of the guides, coordinators, and drivers were friendly! The view was beautiful and the breakfast in the cave was yummy. Would definitely recommended.

Great experience in the air, but the ground logistics need refinement. The actual balloon ride was fantastic and eating breakfast inside the cave was a wonderful highlight. That said, the overall experience would be vastly improved with more timely communication regarding hotel pickup. I also found the frequent hard-selling a bit overwhelming. Tourism is clearly vital to the local economy, but setting expectations for these interactions upfront would help guests enjoy the day much more.

A great experience! It was an early morning pickup with a bit of waiting around at the balloon place but the experience felt very safe and well organised! We didn’t end up flying over the ruins but it was a beautiful view nonetheless. All staff have been very kind and helpful!

Great experience and a very enjoyable balloon flight. The pick up was very efficient and transport was comfortable, despite the early wake up. There is quite a bit of waiting around between being dropped off and the flight, but this was communicated to us on arrival. The balloon flight was great, but we felt it was very expensive for what was a rather short flight and one where we didn’t even fly over the Pyramid or the other ruins. Other balloons seem to fly further and higher than ours, and even though the sunrise was masked by clouds, not having a good view of the pyramids was a shame. I will caveat the above by saying we are yet to go on the tour or have breakfast as I write this.

The hot air balloon ride was amazing! I expected it to be scary to be so high up in the air, but it was very calming and a gentle experience.

So much smoother than I expected from take off to landing! Unforgettable experience!
