Balloon Flight And Tour In Teotihuacán From Mexico City

Awesome experience. Very smooth ride and easy to follow instructions. Wouldn’t want to miss this when travelling to cdmx.

We were the first pickup from the Condesa area at 3:50 am. It is a long day, but so worth it. The May early morning was chilly but warmed up as we were in balloon. Small keyed lockers were available. No bags allowed on balloon. We had the same driver for the full day.

Balloon flight was definitely worth it and a fantastic way to see the pyramids. Also enjoyed the 1hr walk around the pyramid site with a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. Throughout the day everyone was very friendly and trying their best. The tour could be significantly improved however. It was a long day, around 11 hours which was significantly more than the 7-8 hours indicated in the description (it would have been good to know this). A lot of that time is waiting around at various check in points, and being bussed around different bits and there was very little cohesion to the tour. The buffet breakfast was also very disappointing and probably the worst part of the day. In hindsight we would have booked the balloon experience separately and then just booked some private transportation for the day.

We had an incredible trip, thanks in large part to our fantastic advisor, Adi! She was a treasure trove of knowledge, making the trip truly unforgettable. Her kindness, patience, and warm demeanor made her a joy to be around.

This was a great experience. A very early start is required to beat traffic and be in the sky at sunrise. Our balloon was one of the first in the air and we were airborne for over 42 minutes. The views were amazing and the staff worked hard as a team to make it happen.

The balloon flight itself was incredible. It was a beautiful day, our pilot was great, and we really enjoyed the other guests that were on the adventure as well (about 16 people total). Our stop at the pyramids was also good as we were provided with a guide who was very informative. The not-so-enjoyable parts were the 'selling" parts... Such as having to wait in a room with some bad coffee while being sold in photos and expensive drone footage. And the mezcal tasting was so rushed with tastings so miniscule, it became quite obvious that we were just transported to a souvenir shop to buy their stuff. The buffet was quite basic. The balloon flight and pyramids were great, though!

Fabulous morning balloon trip over the Pyramids. Our guide was very helpful and gave us lots of information We then had breakfast and visited the pyramids on foot. Well worth the 4am start.

From start to finish, the experience was seamless and well-organized. The early morning departure was worth it as we got to see the sunrise over the ancient city, casting a golden glow over the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon—truly breathtaking. The ride itself was smooth and peaceful, with stunning panoramic views of the valley and ruins. The pilot was knowledgeable and made us feel safe while sharing interesting facts about the history of Teotihuacán. The landing was gentle, and the post-flight celebration with a traditional toast added a nice touch to the experience. If you’re visiting Mexico City, this is a must-do! Unbeatable views, friendly staff! The whole experience was worth it! Bring layers, because it is super chilly at the start, and gets very hot later in the day.

From start to finish, my friends and I had a beautiful time immersing ourselves in the culture, to visiting the Teotihuacán pyramids, it was an adventure to remember. Our guides were kind and you could tell they had a passion for sharing their history, culture and perspectives on the world. Not to mention we had a beautiful hot air balloon ride in the sunrise and soared through the historical site of Teotihuacán. We also had a toast after landing and had free Mezcal and tequila tastings and a breakfast buffet. I highly recommend taking up this adventure. Say hello to Daniella for me!

Great tour! Hearst views from the air balooons and good food for lunch. The tasting is fine, you won’t get wasted (which is probably for the best). Overall good experience.

Great experience. It was an early day but everything went smoothly. The hot air balloon ride was beautiful, but lots of downtime before and after for setup and takedown. After the ride, we had a breakfast buffet which was fine and then went on a cultural tour. I was worried the tour would be gimmicky and money grabby but it was very low key and there was no pressure to purchase anything. I actually did enjoy learning about agave and more about Mexican history. Finally we did a guided tour of Teotihuacan. It took a while for our tour to arrive. But overall the included guided tour was the reason I booked this tour over others, and it was nice to hear the background and history to give context to what we were seeing. It was really hot so definitely recommend bringing sunscreen and a hat (which you can leave in the car during the other events) to put on for the tour. Would highly recommend and do again!

Every thing was great except the breakfast was cold but still tasty. The video from the drone was wonderful along with the pictures. Just be prepared for the cold morning
