I went with my girlfriend, my sister, and my sister's boyfriend, and we really enjoyed the ride. Our pilot during the balloon flight was Fernando, and he was amazing. He made us feel safe and secure the entire time, was clear in his communication, and taught us a lot about the way balloon flight works.Breakfast in La Gruta restaurant was amazing: tasty, delicious, and an elegant yet very natural place. We loved it. Our tour guide, Itza, was also very punctual, as was our driver, Mario. No complaints at all!

Lovely trip, well organised and did what it said on the tin. I was reassured by the operators and the photographs taken were first class. Definitely recommend.

Sadly our flight was canceled because of the weather and resulting in safety concerns - which is generally a good thing. The fact I disliked was that the weather was called bad that day and still they didn’t cancel the event in advance and picked everyone up. Resulting in the following problem: They offered us 40% of the paid money back because the flight was canceled but we continue the tour (breakfast, tasting and the tour through Teotihuacán) or drive us back to Mexico City and only charge about 25€ pP and we get the rest of the money back. In their eyes the rest of the tour is the bigger part compared to the actual balloon flight hence they can’t offer any other discount. We discussed it with them but continued anyway because we were already there and couldn’t reschedule bc we left Mexico City the next day. The breakfast in the cave looks really cool, the food is okay - wasn’t really warm but nice setting. The tasting is a complete joke and having it in the tour as a stop is just ridiculous. From beginning to the end it was approximately 4 minutes being optimistic. The guide seemed like he wanted to set a new record for it and rushed trough most of it. There were no facts about the drinks, the story behind it, where it came from, how it’s produced or how it differs to other national drinks. After the tour you are in a small shop where they offer to buy the drinks, obsidian stuff and jewelry. From our feeling it all looks very similar compared to other shops so don’t expect local handcrafted souvenirs. The highlight of the shortened tour was Teotihuacán. Our guide Diego was super nice and you could really feel he loves the story and history about it. The informations he told us differ a bit compared to what scientists say but we still enjoyed it. He really made the day with his personality. When driving everyone back to Mexico City they told us there are some demonstrations so they can’t get us to Ángel de la Independencia and need to stop a bit outside. We didn’t see any more traffic then usual the rest of the day and felt like they just chose the easiest way for them - same with the rest of the day. So can we recommend the tour? No not really with what we experienced. There are cheaper tours through Teotihuacán and the rest didn’t exceeded the expectations. The main event is the balloon tour the rest is just some nice extra and you pay that.

Pick up was seamlesss, safety instructions clear and balloon loading was efficient. THE BALLOON TRIP WAS AMAZING! Perfect views, wonderful sunrise experience. The sale pitch to buy photos and video was pretty assertive. The post balloon breakfast was mid in quality but the location is remarkable. The stop at the craft/shopping was annoying. The Teotihuacan temple complex tour was so interesting and our guide was wonderful. It was a real privilege to be in there.

This experience had so many highlights, from an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over the Teotihuacán ruins to a fantastic guided tour of the archaeological site itself. The balloon ride was a truly unique experience and something we'd highly recommend. The views speak for themselves, and the photos really don't need much explanation. Breakfast in the cave was a nice addition to the itinerary, although the food itself was fairly average and not particularly memorable. The real standout, however, was the ruins tour with Ivan. It was genuinely one of the best tours we've ever taken, packed with historical information delivered in an engaging, entertaining, and easy-to-follow way. Ivan brought the history to life and made the visit so much more meaningful. We'd highly recommend this experience, especially for the balloon ride and the outstanding tour with Ivan.

Unfortunately the balloon cancelled for bad weather. With the cancellation, there was a lot of waiting around, but we were treated very well. Breakfast was tasty. The highlight was our tour guide for Teotihuacán. Diego was knowledgeable, funny, amazing to be around and gave a great tour. He made the day a lot better.

Riding a hot air balloon over the pyramids was so peaceful and beautiful. It brought tears of awe into my eyes. The photo shoot beforehand was so fun. Ruth did a great job putting us at ease and getting us wonderful pictures (for an added cost). Breakfast in the cave was delicious and romantic. The pyramids guided tour was very informative and I enjoyed picking up souvenirs at the shop and the liquor tasting. 10/10 would recommend!
