The pickup situation was very long. We were asked to go to one specific location but there were many stops that took a long time. Communication was poor as to the itinerary for the day. We were left at the pyramids without any communication because the van decided to take other group members to the bathroom/restaurant early. No one would answer our messages and we were getting very worried. Everything took a very long time.

Itinerary
Teotihuacán is a large Mexican archaeological complex northeast of Mexico City. Through the center of the place, which was once a flourishing pre-Columbian city, passes the Calzada de los Muertos. This links the Temple of Quetzalcóatl, the Pyramid of the Moon and the Pyramid of the Sun. The last two have panoramic views from their peaks.
The city of Tlatelolco was founded around 1337, 13 years after the founding of Mexico Tenochtitlán, by a part of the same Mexica group. Both cities built their ceremonial precincts, and in Tlatelolco, thanks to the archaeological excavations that began on April 8, 1944, after 1960 to 1968, 67 structures were recovered that make up the archaeological zone with the largest property collection exhibited in Mexico City.
The Basilica of Santa María de Guadalupe, officially called Insigne y Nacional Basilica de Santa María de Guadalupe, is a sanctuary of the Catholic Church, dedicated to the Virgin Mary in her invocation of Guadalupe, located at the foot of Cerro del Tepeyac in the Gustavo mayor's office A. Madero from Mexico City.

The tour was great. It wasn’t a large group and the facts pointed out along the whole tour was greatly appreciated and intriguing.
This was a great experience with a reliable guide and transport. We had many photo opportunities and did a lot of exploring on our own too.
While we had a good experience overall, we were disappointed with the organization and coordination of the tour. Additionally, the content of the tour involved less discussion of history than we had been led to expect. We were told that we would be contacted about the pickup details the day before the tour. We were not contacted, and did not hear from the tour operator until after we reached out to them the morning of the tour, after we had been waiting at the pickup point for 30 minutes. It was also unclear what exactly what was included in the tour (lunch, etc.), and our guide gave us conflicting information. In terms of the content of the tour, we really enjoyed the agave lesson and tequila tasting portion. And the sites we visited were of course very interesting. However, we would have preferred a tour that focused more on history and culture. Our guide was much more focused on numerology—interesting and relevant, but we felt at the expense of other aspects. Additionally, we requested a tour in English, but the whole tour was conducted in Spanish. We understood everything, so it wasn’t a problem for us, but that could be something to be mindful of.
On-time and very knowledgeable. We’ll do it again. Take it with confidence. Price is also very competitive.
Wow the Pyramids were fabulous!! Our guide was great and very knowledgeable. Our bus was full but comfortable . The buffet meal which is not included was very nice and needed after walking around the Pyramids
Rosa-Maria and Eli were our guides for this tour and I cannot express how thankful we are. The tour was fun, smooth and well thought! Rosa-Maria was very kind and her English was excellent. Bonus, they picked us up and dropped us off in front of our hotel so really great service. Thank you :)
Israel and Antonio were great. He was very knowledge and a sweet character. Were patient with our souvenir shopping and make it a fun experience.
Good daytrip, but they should give us more free time in Teotihuacan. Tlatelolco was included and we didn't shop there, why? I don't know... do better with next people!
Horrible from booking till end. They changed time 15 min before leaving time and then went to the tour without us. By a what’s app number we did not knew - not the tour operator - and as we not have internet here all the time, the message was not received. They did not even call Now they don’t want to refund although there was 0,00 service. Will give it to the lawyer Not recommendable.
Being 9, we had a tour just for our group. Clara, our guide, was very knowledgable and made sure to provide us detailed infoemation all along the experience while adjusting to our group dynamic
Antonio was a wonderful and entertaining host I really enjoyed my trip and would highly recommend , the scenery was spectacular
The ride never showed up at the pickup spot. I am still waiting for a refund. Please refund me immediately. Regards.
Experiencing the different architecture the city has to offer. Learning about the reasoning of why they were built and how they were build was a great.
We had the best tour guide full of so much knowledge and was so helpful answering our questions. Our tour of the basilica was a once in a lifetime experience and unforgettable.
The experience was great. Mateo was our tour guide and explained a lot of history. The only thing I didn’t like is the fact that they took us to a restaurant near Teotihuacán which didn’t have any Mexico City food. They had a buffet with spaghetti and mash potatoes… Other than that, fun.
Great trip!! Our tour guide was entertaining, knowledgeable, kind and funny. He gave us enough time to explore the Teotihuacan and Basilica. We were even treated to different fermented beverages made from maguey at Teotihuacan. Our trip ended at unique cave-restaurant, that had wonderful food. I highly recommend this trip.
The tour guide never showed and did answer our text. No one picked up the phone when we called. It was horrible to left high and dry on our trip.
Excellent day trip, the tour guide super knowledgeable, he knew so much about history, and all the archaeological sites. very helpful and he made it possible so my mother could go with us, very accommodating, my mother walks slow. I recommend this awesome experience to anyone. We also were able to hear mass at the basilica of Guadalupe and able to bless my rosary at the end of mass. Thank you so much!!
There was an issue due to poor communication and we were not provided with lunch, but everyone else in our group was. Others also booked through viator and had the option to have their lunch included. We did not get that same option and paid the same amount as the others. It was unfair and they refused to fix it and came it with excuses as to why we were not offered the same deal.
We had a great experience! Our tour guide, Maximilliano, was punctual, patient, informative and flexible. The transportation vehicle was new and comfortable. The driver was great too. Overall we had a great time.
Very badly run with almost no guidance and very little explanation about both the trip in general and about the specifics of each site
Max did an incredible job with our private tour. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. Very helpful with my disabled uncle, went above and beyond. Highly recommend this tour.
It was a great experience and Ivan was a great tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and attentive. We highly recommend this tour.
Great trip! Full day with a great guide, Antonio! Enjoyed all the stops, especially the Basilica Guadalupe and of course the pyramids!
Very professional guide and driver beautiful trip recommend great service. Beatiful places. I recomended
Good but longer than expected. Carols was very knowledgeable and friendly. Worth the trip but almost 9 hours
Viator and the tour company said nothing of the tour being conducted in spanish. That might have been an important detail to include. I'm sure the tour guide had good information, I just couldn't understand it.
Poorly organized tour, limited communication and coordination ahead of time for pickup causing unnecessary confusion. 5 minutes spent at Zona Arqueologica Tlatelolco (instead of the 1 hour listed) and no admission provided. Avoid
Victor never got me to the monuments. The bus did not come to my hotel as requested, and I could not contact the tour operator.
A good way to see many things in one day: Tlatelolco, pulque/tequila tasting + souvenir shop, Teotihuacan Pyramids (~2hrs), and Guadalupe Basilica (~50mins). Would have loved more time at the Basilica (you get a beautiful view of Mexic City) and a less long lunch stop - but overall it was a good experience at a good pace. The guide was nice and friendly. The coordination for pick-up was disastruous (and could easily have been avoided) - but this reflects more on the travel agency not properly setting clear expectations / instructions with the clients nor sharing these same details with the guide/driver picking us up (we were told a meeting point at 9pm the night prior and this information was never conveyed to the guide who drove to our hotels while we were at another meeting point thus ensuing in an hour delay in pick-up). Overall though the experience and day trip we good value for money.
The shrine is amazing, the guide was bilingual and provided excellent descriptions. They also took us to Aztec ruins in the Mexico city. Very well paced tour.
Sergio was a great tour guide. Bilingual he gave a great description of the history at each site we visited. I went solo on the tour, but my group had people from Germany, Peru, France and the US. We all enjoyed the tour.
Not enough time in the Basilica of Guadalupe. You might as well do it on your own and catch an uber which will be a lot cheaper. The choice of the restaurant stop (not included in the price) was on the pricey side. On the positive side, the tour leader was informative. The Teotihucan tour was good and sufficient time was alloted.
The trip itself is a great value - seeing several significant sights in one day. Add the knowledge that Carlos offers and it's not only a good value, but a great experience! I've been to Mexico City before but this is the first time I did a tour. I appreciated gaining deeper insights into the history and culture of the place even though we were in some very touristy spots. And there was time for little photo shoots if you're into that kine of thing. One word of caution - it is a very big, long day. I was fairly tired at the end of it.
Very comfortable tour with a great tour guide and plenty of time to yourself. Our tour guide George was awesome and kept the tour interesting. You will learn a lot, but it won’t be overwhelming.
Jovanny was very knowledgeable and helpful. I appreciated that he made the trip fun and made some great recommendations for food.
Carlos, our guide, was very funny and very knowledgeable about the history of Mexico. I had more fun with his story than the tour because of the way he tells it.
The pyramids, definitely was great to be there. Need to go back when they allow climbing the steps to the top of the pyramids and all other attractions.
I really recommend this tour! Carlos, our tour guide, and Jesus, our driver, were the best!!! Very informative and fun experience
Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun! The van was clean, comfortable and cool. A great experience.
Our guide was great and hilarious. The driver took some strange routes to get there, but we got there. They restaurant was good and there was an obvious paid stop for a bathroom and some souvenirs.
Amazing tour and guide. We loved every part of it. The guide was very well prepared and answered every question
I had a great time with this tour. Our guide and our driver were very patient (we arrived a little late to the pickup spot, and our Spanish wasn't amazing) and our guide was very knowledgeable! Carlos was our guide and I felt that he really took pride in explaining the history of Teotihuacan and the Basilica. We also did a tequila tasting, which turned out to be more than I expected, because we got the opportunity to learn about the agave and maguey plants that are used to make the drinks that are typical to Mexico. We learned about (and tasted) tequila, pulque, and mezcal. On top of all of that, we got to check out the obsidian crafts of the area, which are nothing short of amazing. Due to COVID, we didn't get to actually ascend the pyramids, and the restaurant inside the cave wasn't available (instead, we went to a different place with awesome food and service) but it was a great trip overall. I feel satisfied and I feel like I really learned a lot from this trip, and as a result I'm excited to learn more about Mexico's history. I would definitely recommend this tour. ¡Te agradezco, Carlos! Gracias por tu paciencia y por enseñarme tantas cosas de la historia de Mexico. Que Dios te bendiga. -Montezuma
The piramids. Julio, the guide has an abundant knowledge, and was very enthusiastic through the journey. He never got tired to answer the lot of questions. He was very good!
Though the logistics of this tour such as the pickup at hotel and transportation to the tour sites were handled on time and professionally, the tour commentary provided by the guide during both the driving and walking parts of the tour were inadequate for English speakers such as me due to the poor language skills of the tour guides. For instance, the narrative during the driving portion was mostly inaudible due to the fact that the guide sat at the front of the tour bus and spoke toward the front rather than to the back where the guests were seated. His voice was not only highly Spanish accented, but was largely drowned out at most times by the road noise of the bus. An electronic voice amplification system facing toward the guests would have been very helpful, but there was none. Furthermore, a second guide who handled the English walking tour had similar problems with Spanish accent and mispronunciation of English words. I was constantly frustrated with only understanding about half of the narrative. Another problem was presented by the fact that the the private business which the bus delivered us to to demonstrate obsidian carving and agave distillation was also used as a return lunch stop for us after the pyramids tour. This meant that we were basically used as a captive audience for the business's restaurant which was expensive and was the only restaurant in Mexico I have encountered which has a forced service charge on the bill. I feel that we should have been dropped for lunch at a location where there was more than one restaurant to choose from and we could have made our own choices.
The best experience that I’ve ever had. The customer service is perfect, the guide is and expert and he explained us everything very well. Totally recommended
The best tour to teotihuacan, they pick me up at the hotel, then we wil go to Tlatelolco, amazing, is a very beautil place, then we will go to The Shrine of Guadalupe and Finally to Teotihuacan.
They didn't give us much free time at the Basilica and forced us to eat at a horrible buffet restaurant.
Muy buena experiencia y muy buen guia vimos muchas cosas y aprendimos muchisimo de las piramides y de la basilica
