Start with the pick-up at your accommodation or at the point previously agreed. There you will meet your driver and guide, who will accompany you throughout the experience. Then, head to the first point of the route: Xochimilco.

Second stop Coyoacán : It is one of the most charming and traditional neighborhoods of Mexico City, famous for its bohemian atmosphere, cobblestone streets and rich cultural history. Coyoacán retains a unique colonial air, with tree-lined squares, colorful houses and an artistic vibe that has attracted writers, painters and travelers from around the world.
Third stop Frida Kahlo Museum (Blue House). Discover the life and legacy of Frida Kahlo at the iconic Frida Kahlo Museum, one of the most visited places in Mexico City. Explore his famous Blue House and enter his world through his works, personal belongings and spaces where he lived with Diego Rivera. Access to the museum is included only when booking the ticketed option; otherwise, admission is not included.
At the end of the tour, you will return to the pick-up point.

Our tour guide, Gabriel, was great. Very knowledgeable and he did his best to make the experience a good one. Xochimilco was lovely. However, if you are considering booking this tour, you should know that the tour is really 2 in 1 (Coyoacan and Xochimilco), with the opportunity to pay extra for actually entering the Frida Kahlo museum, which may or may not happen. When I booked, my ticket said “Admission to Frida Kahlo Museum (if option selected)” and further down there is a green check next to “Entry/Admission - Frida Kahlo Museum.” That makes it seem like option is selected, right? Turns out that is not the case and my child and I were denied entry because elsewhere it said "NO Includes Frida Kahlo Museum" - which apparently means “does not include Frida Kahlo Museum.” I complained to Viator and they were not sympathetic to my request for a partial refund.
Uncomfortable bus (we were the last ones on and had to sit in child size seats at the back and could not even see out the windows or hear the guide); too much time on boats and very touristy and tour added a stop to see water animal museum for some travelers in the group. Waste of time.
Excellent experience with our guide Sarai! She is very knowledgeable and full of interesting history and facts and stories. The travel was very comfortable. The xoximilco experience was a lot of fun! Saw some beautiful sites on the rest of the tour and learned a lot. Would recommend to anyone!

Great tour! Xochimilco was the best and we had a great time on the canals, with opportunities for drinks and fresh food and mariachis. We just got a taste of Coyoacan and I’ll be back for more. Gabriel was a knowledgeable guide with good tips on local things to do and see beyond our tour stops. I would have welcomed more free time to shop but this was a great intro to several destinations.
Gabriel and Marco were great driver/guide! Gabriel did a great job of providing info, answering questions, and communicating logistics. The van was comfortable, and the ride was scenic. The boat ride was nice and I enjoyed the walk thru the neighborhood and stop at Fridah house. Only downside was that it was a busy weekend in CDMX, and to avoid traffic, the operator asked that we meet at a location rather than get picked up as described in the listing. This added rider share costs on both ends that I was not anticipating. Having the listing updated for busy weekends would be helpful in providing accurate info. At the very least, having the meeting spot located on the listing would have allowed me to book a hotel in the vicinity while my trip was flexible.
Gabriel was a great guide, he’s very communicative and attentive to our needs. If you want someone that doesn’t make you feel like your listening to a guide on headphones, Gabriel is your guy! 🤙🏽

Our guide Gab was pretty resourceful and knowledgeable about the culture and history of Mexico. He was attentive and willing to help. Our driver Marcos kept the Van clean and he drove well. But the traffic was very bad and we spent too much time in the traffic jam, which gives some dents for the entire trip experience. I’ll recommend this tour my friends but I’ll advise them not to come at the time when major events are on.

Gabriel was excellent showing us beautiful highlights of Xochimilco, Coyoacan, and finally to the spectacular Frida Kahlo Museum. He let us move at our own pace and enjoy these sights and stop for refreshments. We really appreciated all the context he gave us. And most surprising was the visit to Museo Anahuacalli—it displays some Diego Rivera’s collection of pre-Hispanic art in a stunning setting. And the views of the city from the terrace were amazing. Just a great day!

Captain Luis and Sarai picked us up promptly and we had a wonderful time floating the canals of Xochimilco and exploring Coyoacán. Our guide Sarai was very patient and speaks English extremely well. I highly recommend this day tour in Mexico City.
Jam packed day with a lot to see. Fun experience. Our guide Gabriel was very informative and overall we had a good time.
Danae was nice and professional, she answered every question we had and showed us a delicious spot to eat.
Guide came in a private car for all four of us to squeeze for more than an hour’s ride one way with no airconditioning at all and subjected to highway traffic smells. Utterly not professional and during the boat ride there was a man selling silver and I felt pressurized. Left the tour halfway as we could not endure the car ride and it made me sick. Honestly did not expect this at all and would not recommend.

I had a great experience! I was a solo traveler and felt completely safe throughout the experience. We also visited another museum that wasn’t included with the Frida Kahlo Museum, which was a nice added bonus. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend it!
We had a wonderful experience on this tour of Xochimilco, and Frida's blue house museum. Our tour guide, Gabriel, did a good job keeping us informed about each location we visited. He picked us up in the morning at our hotel and returned back later that day after the tour was over which was a bonus since we did not have to worry about transportation at a meet up spot.
