The pick up will be at the address of your accommodation. We will arrive and cross the principal doors of the Atrio of the Americas (main plaza). We will visit the entire religious complex: The new Basilica (where is the original and miraculous tilma from 1531), the Old and First Basílica, The saint area where the Virgin of Guadalupe appeared to Saint Juan Diego in 1531 and where is located the first chapel that Guadalupe requested to build. We will walk upstairs the Hill of Tepeyac (with small waterfalls and gardens). On the top We will visit the chapel of the flowers and you will have a beautiful view of Mexico city. This is the place where Juan Diego recollected the miraculous flowers in his cloak. We will visit the monumental sculpture named The Offering with two waterfalls. We will finish our visit with the small chapel dedicated to the Holy Water. You will have chance of buy religious stuff inside the religious complex. You can request us time for hear mass. Our driver Marcos was friendly and was professional. He took time to tell us a bit about the city as well. He was able to drop us off even at a different location based on our timeline. Our guide was knowledgeable and also professional. She was very patient and we were able to spend time to go through every area, have time to reflect and attend mass. It was a beautiful sacred place and would love to visit again.
Vanessa was such a great guide. She was able to communicate the historical importance of the basicilica and the religious aspects. I was expecting there to be a greater emphasis on religion but she was able to find a sweet spot between history and religion. She was able to joke around with my friends as well which kept them engaged. She also was nice enough to take photos of my friends at different spots. I would definitely do more trips with Vanessa!
This was an amazing visit to Our Lady of Guadalupe Basilica and grounds. This company was exceptionally accommodating to our wishes. If you are looking for a more secular/historical visit, this will be fine for you as a general tour. We however, are a family of Catholic believers. I explained to Epic Journeys in advance and they made things perfect for us. We paid for an extra hour, so that we could go to Mass, which is in Spanish every hour. Mass in English and other languages is also available, but typically in smaller chapels. Our guide, Gabriel, made sure that we had time to pray, view the miraculous tilma, light candles, and receive benediction. We also saw all of the historic features, gardens, the vista from Tepeyac hill, and the artistic and architectural sights that you would expect from a tour of this 500 year old site. We were a group of 10 people and Epic Journeys picked us up in a comfortable van, provided snacks and water for the ride. Perfect day.

Excellent private experience of the basilica of Maria Guadalupe! Our tour was about 2.5 hours. Axel our guide was very knowledgeable and also very patient. He showed us all the churches of the complex and their history, as well as taking us to the mount of the Tepeyac. Also gave us time to listen to the end of mass, and allowed time to get some souvenirs on site. We highly recommend this private tour!

Gabriel is a wonderful guide, providing the historical and religious context of this sacred location. He walked us up to Tempeyac Hill, showed us the original churches and basilica, and allowed us to attend Mass at our request. We wandered through the beautiful gardens, noting the sculptures and merging of ancient gods to the transition to Christianity. We were able to witness the miraculous tilma of La Virgen de Guadalupe (twice, second time request for an alternate view) and receive twice blessings after purchasing our religious memorabilia. Gabriel was so patient, respectful of incorporating our requests, and knowledgeable about the Basilica History. Thank you, Gabriel, for this amazing pilgrimage experience to honor Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Communication was great from the start, prompt pick-up, guide (Andrea) and driver (Luis Marcos) were excellent. I received guidance on what to expect and how to be prepared (weather, walking, safety). The tour itself was one of the best. I learned about the culture, history, where everything happened, every nuance about the area was well described including everything happening in the moment (different masses, rules, safety etc). I could not have asked for more and definitely recommend.

We had our driver/tour guide, Roberto, who was very kind. He picked us up from our airbnb and dropped us off. We personalized our tour to include a 1 hour mass. We didn’t do the Tepayac Hill due to mobility issues and how hot it wass. Our tour included going to 2 churches, museum, gift shop to purchase souvenirs, blessing, and a mass. I booked 2.5 hours.
This tour was fantastico! Our driver, Gererdo, was prompt and polite. Water and snacks were provide. Our guide, Victor, was very knowledgeable and provide a great pace for the tour. We had a group of 7 and we all enjoyed the experience - highly recommended!

Vincent was kind and knowledgeable. He told us a lot of wonderful history and made sure we got to attend mass in English and go past the Tilma 2xs. He brought us to all of the buildings that house Our lady and up Tepyec. He was so kind and accommodating as the altitude made the climb difficult. If will recommend this tour to anyone.
We really had a great experience with Andrea (our guide) and Manuel (our driver). They arrived early at our hotel to pick us up. Andrea was an excellent guide providing historical context of the city and the Guadalupe apparitions. She expertly guided us through the different churches in the complex while noting on the architecture and impacts of the recent earthquakes. We also took breaks as needed. Overall, this tour was worth it.
Our guide, Jacobo and driver, Luis were excellent. Luis is a very good driver. We felt safe in heavy traffic conditions. Given the large crowds Jacobo’s plan for our visit was thoughtful and thorough. The pace was very comfortable. Not rushed.
Diego was great. Traffic was terrible and did a great job navigating the mess. The tour was awesome and he had a good grasp of the history and significance of it all. His English was very good and he is a good communicator. I would recommend Diego to anyone interested in a great tour.
Efficient transport to and from Shrine…first driver had to be asked to turn down offensive rock music; second driver professional. Guide Noe very pleasant, took us on an educational path….just limited English diminished the experience.

We had a wonderful time.Diego was amazing, very knowledgeable, friendly.He explained about the 4 apparitions, and took us all around. We got to attend mass and view the miraculous Tilma which is 499 years old. We also got a young lady in one of the stores who explained about the tilma! He also then took us on our request for an authentic Mexican lunch at a 100 years old restaurant ❤️😍
