I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Mexico City for a long weekend getaway and also fle the BBVA Mexico City Half Marathon. I was blown away at the level of customer service I received at the Ritz. I held Globalist status with Hyatt and stayed at some nice locations with them, but I was absolutely blown away by our experience here. This hotel is located right next to the Bosque de Chapultepec and if you have a room facing the first side you will have amazing views of Chapultepec Castle, the forest, and the cityscape. The hotel is maintained very well - everything is modern but cozy and welcoming. I did enjoy that we had a balcony where we could enjoy a morning cup of coffee or just enjoy the views of the ferris wheel lights later at night. The service was a whole other level. I was delighted to be greeted with a Happy Birthday banner and a sweet treat to welcome me to Mexico City. Each night the staff would leave some chocolates by our bed and untuck the sheets to make sure we would be nice and comfy. I do respect the hotels commitment to lowering water usage by not always taking our towels hanging up so we could reuse them. The day before the half marathon the staff left us with some gifts (some hats, water bottles, and a little lion plushy) and a note cheering us on for our run. Each time we left the hotel to go explore the staff in the main lobby and the valet area made sure to greet us good morning and asked if there was anything we needed. Each time we came back we received the same greetings. I also want to recognize Joel who went above and beyond welcome us to Mexico City, showing us all the features of our suite, and pointing out all the landmarks visible from our room. He was very personable, asking us about how our run went and greeted us evertime we saw him. Andrea at registration was also very warm and welcoming and offered us assistance when we locked ourselves out of our room I also want to recognize Fernanda and her team for working so hard to making our stay such an incredible one. We cannot wait to stay at this location again.

My wife and I came to The Ritz-Carlton Mexico City for our anniversary, and honestly, the staff made it an unforgettable trip. We travel a lot and frequently stay at luxury hotels, but the warmth and personal care here really set a new bar for us. A few people made our stay extra special: Clony, doorman. Beyond giving us a great tour of the room on day one, he brought up a bundle of anniversary gifts on our second night. The best part was reading his handwritten note. You could tell it came straight from him, not some scripted front desk automated message. He remembered my name every single time we saw him. Ivan at breakfast. I have a mushroom allergy, and Ivan totally had my back. He actually caught a fungi related element on a plated dish that I completely missed, intercepted it before it hit the table, and had the kitchen make a safe meal. Knowing he was looking out for us in the mornings made dining completely stress-free. The room upgrades, stunning city views, and welcome tequila were amazing touches, but the genuine human connections are why we’ll never stay anywhere else in Mexico City. If you're on the fence about booking, do yourself a favor and stay here you'll be in incredible hands.
I had an amazing 4-night stay here celebrating my birthday! Before I even checked in, the concierge team was incredibly helpful, snagging reservations for two super popular restaurants that were totally sold out online. They also surprised me with a sweet birthday setup in the room. The room itself was clean, quiet, and had fantastic views of the city—shoutout to housekeeping for keeping it spotless every day. The location is also incredibly convenient; you can easily walk to local taco trucks, fine dining in Polanco, or some of the best bars in North America. Will definitely stay here again for my next CDMX trip!
Visited Samo's restaurant and it was fantastic 👌. Its on 38th floor which makes the views attractive for its guests. We didn't sit outside because it was too warm but sitting along the window felt just as good. Watermelon salad was delicious as was my burger. Fries were cooked perfectly. Margaritas were great and I highly recommend if that's your cocktail. Service was perfect and I would return if I'm ever in the area again
Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Mexico City was absolutely extraordinary and easily one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere in the world. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was impeccable—warm, attentive, and truly personalized. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The hotel itself is breathtaking. Located high above Paseo de la Reforma, the rooms offer spectacular floor-to-ceiling views of Chapultepec Park and the Mexico City skyline, creating a stunning backdrop from sunrise to sunset. The rooms are beautifully designed—modern, spacious, and incredibly comfortable—with luxurious touches like deep soaking tubs. The amenities are just as impressive. The spa, indoor pool, and fitness center provide a relaxing escape after a day exploring the city, and the dining and bar experiences are outstanding. Every detail—from housekeeping to concierge service—reflects the world-class standard that Ritz-Carlton is known for. We came for my partners 50th Birthday and the level of service and accommodations are truly appreciated! Well done Ritz Carlton Mexico City!!! We will be back!!! ✌🏿 & ❤️
