I stayed at Laila Hotel during a work trip, and overall it was a convenient option for what I needed. The location is definitely its biggest advantage — in my case, it was only a 4-minute walk from the office, which made it extremely practical.
The rooms are quite small and the hotel itself feels a bit dated. The main downside was the air conditioning, which didn’t cool the room properly and could definitely use some improvement.
That said, if you’re traveling for work, looking for a well-located hotel, and don’t plan on spending much time in your room, it does the job. It’s a practical option for a short stay, especially if location is your priority.
I ate at the restaurant (La Terraza) and did not stay at the hotel. I just wanted to say how amazing the restaurant staff was. I believe his name was Roberto (entretenimiento), he was on is like white on rice. Explained everything well and just did an outstanding job. 10/10 service
Very nice hotel. Impeccable cleaning which was very important to us aa we were looking for hotels. The team were extremely friendly and helpful. Area is safe and there are lots of cafes and restaurants around. We will go back for sure if we are in CDMX.
I booked a night at this hotel through booking.com. I needed to change the night or get a refund. Booking.com sent me an email to show management that stated they would pay them so it would be okay to issue me a refund. I showed the email to management. They refused to refund my money. This is bad customer service.
This is a 3 star hotel with above standard staff and cleaning crew in a good location. If you’re looking for a premium room and accommodation, look elsewhere. If you’re looking for a safe, budget friendly-ish hotel because you won’t be spending much time in the hotel, this will serve its purpose. The room was small and bathroom just as small. The hallways are outdated and fixtures/furniture in the room is budget. The bed was not very comfortable. I wouldn’t describe this as a good “value” hotel per se but it got the job done.
