It’s honestly baffling that a Hilton property in a major international capital is still operating without smart TVs in 2026. This isn’t a luxury feature anymore… it’s a basic expectation. Travelers from around the world expect to be able to log into their streaming services, cast from their devices, or simply enjoy modern in-room entertainment. Instead, this hotel feels like it hasn’t updated its rooms in over a decade. To make matters worse, the room wasn’t even properly stocked with pillows. For a hotel that charges premium rates and carries the Hilton name, having guests hunt down extra pillows just to sleep comfortably is unacceptable. The location may be great, but that’s where the positives end. Between the outdated technology, lack of basic comfort, and failure to meet even today’s standard hotel expectations, this property feels tired and neglected. Hilton’s reputation sets a high bar, and this hotel falls embarrassingly short. There are far better options in Mexico City that actually offer the modern amenities and comfort travelers should expect

Our stay exceeded expectations from start to finish. We were able to select a slightly larger room, and even though it wasn’t a suite, it felt generous in size with a fantastic view that made the experience feel elevated. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, making it easy to relax and settle in. A special mention goes to the lounge check-in staff, especially Lorena and her colleague, who were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and efficient. Their friendliness set a great tone for the stay and left a lasting impression. The lounge happy hour was underwhelming in comparison. The food offerings were limited and not particularly memorable, and the drink selection leaned basic with standard well options rather than anything distinctive. On the other hand, breakfast on the first floor was a standout highlight. The food was fresh, flavorful, and varied enough to keep you coming back for more. It was easily one of the best parts of the experience. The hotel’s location is another strong advantage, just a short walk from Bellas Artes, yet still quiet enough to feel comfortable and restful. Combined with the genuinely kind and attentive staff, it made for a very enjoyable stay. I would gladly return without hesitation.
This hotel has got to be the best one I’ve stayed at in a while. The amenities are amazing, with a heated inside pool, sauna and spa area. The area is fairly close to many of the main tourist spots and close to the public transportation facilities. As well as the breakfast on the executive floor is some of the best hotel breakfast I’ve had, the staff is super nice and friendly. The main staff member who made the experience memorable was Leonel who works the “happy hour” on the executive floor (26) he is a man proud of his job and does it damn well. He is friendly and makes you feel welcomed and prepares amazing margaritas!! He is definitely a “go above and beyond” worker and I’m glad he was working the lounge during our time here. Another server who provided great service was Grecia (also on the executive floor) she makes amazing drinks and makes you feel at home Overall experience was a 10/10 for me and will definitely come back whenever we are back in Mexico City.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hilton. The bell hop assisted me with my luggage. The front desk staff quickly got me checked-in to my room. My bell hop also gave me a quick overview of the amenities in my room as well . So that attention to detail made it easy for me to settle into the room. The location is in walking distance to many of central Mexico City's attractions. Also bus and Metro trains are nearby as well. I really liked the art on display in the hotels gallery so much so I purchased a couple of pieces of art. The house keeping staff were superb as well. Ruth kept my room in pristine condition daily. I also got great service from Elliott at the concierge desk. He arranged a private tour of the pyramids of the Gods. Overall it was a fantastic place to stay. I'd definitely stay here again.
Enjoyed my stay! The rooms are amazing, beds are comfortable and the staff were very attentive. Even the maid left a cute note to us after cleaning our room. Do offer some English t.v. channels and the Shower was absolutely heavenly. Good area and a beautiful park across the way.
