They will charge you for a plastic fork, 35 pesos!! I asked front desk if they can get me a fork and they told me to call room service. So I had to go back up and call room service, then they mention I will have to pay. I have never been charged to get a fork at any other hotels, it is a very normal request for a guest. Left a bad taste when I was enjoying my stay otherwise.

The crew of this hotel are exceptionally excellent in all ways. The two two concierge person Mr. Lazaro and Mr. Ronniel are the best. Also the ladies and gentlemen on the reception are the same. very professional, excellent client service etc. i also want to the staff on the 11th floor at the business lounge. it was amazing traveling in an unknown county for the first time with limited of language, but wonderful people made my life easy and comfortable. i was able to visit most of the tourist spot with no hassle and hiccups. my salute to the hotel management with all their professional staff. hope to visit you again. all the best wishes. This is an excellent hotel for a visit to Mexico City. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and though it’s busy at this location, there are plenty of good restaurants and cafes very close by. Service at the hotel is excellent. Diego at the front desk went out of his way to help us with a late checkout. Everyone here is very friendly.
The room 6th floor, front street view, this was supposed to be an upgrade (according to the check in) is small, outdated and run down. The beds, sheets and pillows are excellent, but this didn’t matter because we were not sleeping. Our room was 30 meters from a regularly scheduled 11pm- 5am “boots n cats” club music extravaganza which penetrated earplugs and sound cancelling headphones. The doors are not sealed so both light and sound flows in through the hallway, and once and if you fall asleep despite these interruptions, the air conditioning will intermittently scream on or shut off starling you to awaken. The water pressure is ridiculously ineffective which doubles your shower time attempting to get the conveniently provided product out of your hair. After your shower you can struggle with any additional guests for the one hook provided for towels. If you want a coffee you will need to leave your room as the coffee set up provided is only to tempt you into trying to make yourself a coffee, but you will be thwarted by needing something more each time because it’s not there. We used the beautiful clean roof top pool and well equipped gym which are both surrounded by speakers that are pumping out club tunes, literally ALL the time, there is literally NO peace in this hotel. The restaurant is lovely and the food was great, but we were not in need of this convenience more than once because it’s surrounded by restaurants and coffee shops in the surrounding neighbourhoods. There is a coffee shop downstairs which is disappointingly STARBUCKS and not a local provider, but luckily for us there are two beautiful cafes within steps of the hotel. I’m super disappointed with the front desk staff, they were dismissive and unhelpful. The housekeeping was intermittent and came only every second day, although they did a beautiful job when they came and were as kind and thoughtful as possible. We stayed at this hotel for the location but I’m not recommending it, nor will I be back unless I suddenly want to be up all night at a club or feel like I was!
My husband and I stayed here for a week on our honeymoon and were delighted at our experience. Room quality was quite good, clean and with a very comfortable bed. Others complain about noise from nearby clubs; luckily, we chose an Executive King room which put us on the 10th floor and allowed us an entire week of quiet rest—with a view of the Angel of Independence! It would have been nice to have control over the room temperature, since it got a little cool at times, but the vent fan worked well. Overall the level of comfort was on par with or better than many of the mid- to upmarket USian chains. The breakfast included in the room price (for executive/business club) is probably the best “continental” breakfast I’ve ever had, with great variety of nutritious, tasty options. The hot food on offer changed every day so there was no getting tired of eating the same thing. I really liked the tamales served on Friday! The rooftop area is very nice; I wish we’d given ourselves more time to spend up there as the view was cool and the pool/hot tub seemed nice. On our second night we went up there to enjoy a mojito, which was good. We didn’t eat at the first-floor restaurants but they appeared nice. This was my first time ever staying at a Grupo Brisas property and it definitely won’t be the last. The location of Plaza Galería Reforma is fantastic and the level of service that we experienced is hard to beat. Cheers to the staff for putting so much effort and kindness into the guest experience.
