Frida Boutique Stays By Viadora

My favorite place to stay in a quiet street in Condesa. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. The location is safe with staff on site 20 x7. The rooms have AC and heat.

Amazingly charming and private. Love the personal attention by the staff. So clean and well designed. I highly recommend this spacious suite. Great value!

It's a nice place to stay for sure. Martha was very gracious as were the rest of the staff. The rooftop patio was under construction and not accessible during our stay. That was unfortunate and largely the reason we chose Frida Boutique. That was VERY disappointing and we would not have booked if we knew. The apartment we stayed in (first floor) is VERY dark with no windows to the outside whatsoever. The outside room/patio is just a room with no roof...also very dark and maybe even felt a little creepy - we didn't enjoy it at all. Martha offered us access to other properties with roof-top patios to visit, but we would have had to clear it with more staff and ....no thanks. The towels and facecloths are old and frayed, the soap does not get replaced as required (you need to ask the desk staff). The coffee maker is just a cheap one with medicocre coffee - thankfully there are good coffee shops nearby. The mini-bar is lame and over-priced in american currency. The Oxxo literally had the same stuff less than a block away for a fraction of the price - no thanks. Hector and his colleagues guard the perimeter of this gated community and we were truly grateful for him. If you want to visit Mexico City, then this is a decent place to stay. For the price point, I wouldn't go back for the reasons listed. We will check it out before we head back to see if improvements have been made because there were so many things we liked about it here - location, staff, local ammenities. We just loved our stay at Frida Boutique Stays by Viadora. Even before we arrived, I received messages via What’s App from Martha who made it clear she was ready to welcome us and help us with whatever we needed. The apartment was huge, clean, and gorgeous. The location was perfect. And I will now consider the property “my place” to stay next time I come back to Mexico City. Loved it there!!
