Staying in a suite. First the good! Great location. Comfortable bed. Very large room. Now the bad :-( Very dated decor. Dirty sofa. Uncomfortable seating. Very old air conditioners. Mold in bathtub/shower in the corners. Very musty smell in the room. Remote control batteries were dead. Would I stay here again? Probably not unless they could clean and get the rooms to smell better and eliminate the moldy/musty odor.

If you want to be downtown this is a good place however, the rooms didn't have bottled water or even a fridge to store cold drinks. The front staff spoke very little English so unless you are local good luck. The primary way to get around town is by Uber and it's like bumper cars at a cheap carnival. I was really hoping this is going to be a great visit but so far I'm looking at mediocre.
There was too much noise in the surrounding areas. I paid for a room at a higher price but was given a cheaper one, and no refund was applied. I cannot recommend this place if you are looking for relaxation, as it is too exposed to outside disturbances.
I made a reservation in February for 6 nights which was confirmed and held with a credit card - upon arrival at the hotel last night, the smirking desk clerks informed me that my reservation had been canceled and notice had been sent while I was on my plane an hour earlier. When I translated the email it gave no reason apart fro lack of availability but said they would help me find another room - they refused to help. When I asked further they said it was because I did not put a credit card on the reservation and when I showed where the reservation was on the confirmation notice they just smirked further. As an elderly woman visiting Mexico City for the first time I found this late night turn of events and lack of consideration from the hotel very stressful- the only reservation I could find is costing approximately 5 times the price of my reservation at the Fiesta thus also putting me in debt.
I stayed at the Fiesta Inn hotel for 4 days June 8-11,2025. With my family. The location is good there are few restaurants next to the hotel, pharmacy, and you can walk to zocalo in about 13 min. The hotel is clean and service was okay from some staff. HOWEVER, my son’s tablet was STOLEN. When I noticed, I notified the staff from hotel and nobody careless. I spoke to the receptionist, she checked and nobody has found anything. When I asked to speak to the supervisor, she said there was not supervisor at that moment. I have never received a phone call or a follow up from the hotel . I was very disappointed since it is not a cheap hotel and it is a recognized hotel chain. Family members and I have stayed at Fiesta Inn in different states, but after this experience I DO NOT recommend a stay at this hotel.
